After a poor response in the shop at Handforth to my complaint about some faulty goods I contacted Head Office Customer Service who were excellent in offering a refund. It restored my faith in the Lakeland brand.

Staff were courteous and the flight was on time

Easy to book on line.
However, a telephone call to answer a couple of minor queries took 10 minutes to answer. The queries were resolved immediately.

The process of taking out the travel insurance was simple and straightforward.
The costs were competitive and the web site easy to use.
However, the success of an insurance company must be measured by it's claims performance, which I hope not to have to make use of!

Excellent service - updated SDLA card sent promptly by post, installed simply and worked immediately - all at a price about one sixth of the main dealer quote!

Happy with the buying process and the cover, although had to pay additional premiums for medical conditions. Seemed reasonable value but don't know what the service is like if and when you have to make a claim.

Web site was easy to use and the premium seemed reasonable.
Can’t comment on the claims side as fortunately not had to make one yet.

Booking the car online was simple.
The only downside was that the rental instructions paperwork indicated that the Budget Car rental office was in the terminal building at Pisa Airport - which it wasn't!
It was a shuttle bus service away.
When we found the office, registration was simple and the car was available - a relatively new model with 3,000 km on the clock. The car was clean and tidy.
Returning the car was equally simple, the procedure being conducted quickly and efficiently.
