I ordered a set of white wall tyres for my newly purchased classic car in order to attend car shows this summer.
Tyres took almost three weeks to arrive by which time I had missed the first show.
Upon opening the packages only to find that they weren’t white wall.
After contacting the company with photos they actually e mailed to say that the photo on their website was the wrong one and they would change it and I could return them if I wanted a refund.
No apology, or offer to sort out or pay for the return of the tyres (a week later they still have the same photo up, still mis-selling the tyres).
I replied straight away to their e mail to say they could either sort out a return label or I would keep the tyres and buy some white wall inserts (at almost £100) if they sent me a good will gesture of £35 towards the inserts. (If I had just wanted the plain black tyres I could have bought them for a lot less from another company so I was still be losing out but just wanted my car sorted for the car shows).
Over week later and numerous e mails I have still not heard anything back.
I have given up and now having to contact my credit card company to try to resolve the issue.
After missing two of the only car shows i could get to this summer it’s looking like I’m also going to miss the final one I had planned for this weekend due to this incompetent company.
