Car Rental in Otopeni Anmeldelser 

We were a group of friends renting 4 cars in this office. Each of us had to pay a deposit of 1.800 euros for some old cars with a lot of malfunctions. Normally it is blocked on your creditcard, but we had to pay it directly. At that moment we agreed, because it would be returned if there was no damage made to the cars. We gave back the cars without any damage and the man who picked up the cars said we would get back our deposit. After one month we received nothing. Email address was blocked. They did not answer phone calls and did not respond on Whatsapp messages. Finally with the help of the head office of Finalrentals (the name on the contract) we received half of our deposit back. The other half will go through the banks. The head office will take legal actions against them, because it´s affecting their company name.
SO NEVER NEVER BOOK THERE !!!! THIEVES !!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this car rental company. My experience was unacceptable, and I am appalled by the lack of communication regarding my €900 deposit. Now they lie saying that I chose extra insurance, I DID NOT !!! I was told was refundable deposit !!! It has been almost two months since I returned the vehicle, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have yet to receive a resolution. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to explore alternative options. I demand the immediate return of my deposit.

we got a beautiful car, in best price (we compared), best conditions and not less important best best attitude!! we had some issues during our trip, needed extra time and then extra once again, we got everything we nedded generously with Sincere concern for our well-being.

El pasado Agosto rentamos un coche con Zoe autorent en Bucarest i nos cobraron un depósito de 450 € que no nos han devuelto. Hemos enviado e-mails i whatsapp y no responden. Cuando nos cobraron el depósito nos aseguraron que en 2 semanas nos lo devolvian y no ha sido así. Por favor no alquileis un coche con esta compañia. También nos cobraron 40€ por la entrega del coche fuera de horario cuando lo entregamos antes. No somos los primeros estafados

Charging extra insurance to customers on the false claim it will be refunded on the car return if no damage claim. Customer believes it's same as the credit card block usually used by car rental companies, difference is this is an actual charge on the credit card that this company don't intend to refund even if the car has no damage. Multiple customers complaining about this company Zoe Auto Rent a.k.a. Plaza Automotive, a legal case is being rased.

Rented 2 cars from company Zoe Auto Rent (listed as finalrents.ro on agreement) at Bucharest airport in July 2024 for 9 days.

In addition to the rental charge of €90.99 per car, I was charged a deposit of €540 each, which I was assured would be refunded upon returning the cars. However, I have yet to receive the deposits back, and my inquiries have gone unanswered.

The cars provided were old Skoda Octavias with over 153,000 miles (245,000 km) and were in poor condition, featuring numerous dents, chipped windshields, strange metallic noises from the front wheels, and non-functional steering wheel controls. The seat covers were cheap and interfered with the seatbelts.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Me and my friend were in Romania for 1 week around Transylvania and had one of the best trips ever thanks to Zoe and their workers. (We really found out that Transylvania is best explored by car if you’re comfortable or short of time).
We were met with good communication, quick delivery with the car to the airport, friendly conversations and like a cherry on top, affordable prices.
It really felt like they were professional, knew what they were doing and no hustle-like behaviour like a lot of other companies feels like.
Their location of the office wasnt the best if you’re unsure about how to get around Bucharest by foot/train from the airport but it definitely was easy accessible in and out with a car.
We got the car delivered to the airport which I’m sure others customers has the opportunity to.

I have been renting cars for years and I have never had such an unpleasant experience with a car rental company. I found this rental on skyscanner.net and the rental was through vipcars.com which got the car from Zoe from the Otopeni location. The rental was from December 21st, 2023 until January 8th, 2024.

First, I arrived at Henri Coanda airport and I called the number from my rental voucher. I was taken to the Pricecarz location and when my voucher was checked they realized that the rental provider was Zoe Auto Rent. The explanation was that they split as a company and they didn't know why Pricecarz phone number appeared on my rental car voucher instead of Zoe Auto Rent's. So, they called the person from Zoe who was at home at that time, and after spending more than 30 minutes since I got to the Pricecarz location, finally, the person from Zoe came to pick me up to go to their location. Also, I was told that the rental was in Zoe's system from 9.30 am instead of 9.30 pm which I had.

Second, I had a rental for a Skoda Octavia and instead of that, I was given a Toyota C-HR which I don't see as an upgrade. No issues, I said that considering that the rental was for winter an SUV would fit me better anyway.

Third, I was told the car had no issues but when I inspected it the plastic from behind the front bumper on the right side was broken plus some regular wear and tear on the car for the 70k km that it had. I just told the person to mark that and also that the car had regular wear and tear on the body of it as it would have been normal. Instead, he just put that broken plastic without my mention of regular wear and tear on the whole car exterior and just put the scratches that I showed him at 10.00 pm with not enough light around to see everything that was on the car. I was told frankly that regular wear and tear to the car would be accepted unless I came with it from an accident or with the windshield broken or some other parts of the car broken or damaged.

Fourth, when I returned the car I was expecting to see the same person that gave me the car as he said that he would be there also for the drop-off. Surprise, he was not there and his colleague went to the car with me to inspect it and found two scratches that were not mentioned in the agreement and which I honestly did not do (both of them on the back bumper). One to which I said that it was a joke since it would come out with a simple polish and another one of probably 1 cm which indeed would not come out with any polish and needed a touch-up. Anyway, he handed me the list with the prices for the damages to which I did not agree and I wanted to talk to his colleague about this. Of course, he started texting him, sending him photos, etc and after I said that they could get whatever amount they wanted from my credit card because I would dispute it and get it back anyway, he agreed to take me to the airport to catch my flight after returning my deposit. On the way to the airport, I was told that they were in doubt if they should honor the rental since I did not get any car insurance except for the liability which was included in the price.

Conclusion: since I did not get any insurance on the car they just wanted to get some more money from me. When they saw that they couldn't, they just abandoned that idea. I don't know how they have all of these good reviews here, I would assume that those reviews are written by their employees considering my bad experience with them. And it is not my problem that their system was not ok, I also put with my rental my flight number so that they know when I arrive. They also said that the flight was not communicated to them which I honestly doubt. I don't want to call them in any way, all I want to say is that I was displeased with this rental.

Un'esperienza davvero pessima, non ci è stata restituita la caparra. Abbiamo affittato a capodanno da questi signori tramite CarJet, hanno trattenuto una caparra di 1650€ che doveva essere restituita entro un massimo di 2giorni lavorativi e non l'hanno restituita da due mesi! Quando abbiamo provato a chiamarli per vedere cosa stava succedendo, non hanno più risposto da nessun numero da cui chiamassimo!
Da non considerare assolutamente!

The worst experience. They didn’t give our deposit back. They said that our deposit will be released in 2 days and in maximum 20 days will receive the deposit back. It’s been a full month and we didn’t receive it. And the worst part is that they blocked our number. They are a scammers.

Really nice experience from start to finish, gives you the feeling that you don’t have to worry about anything, very helpful and polite staff.
