I’ve been looking for an affordable accounting solution that doesn’t require a subscription. This Excel based system is perfect for that. No internet required, and I own my data. Some formulas are a bit sensitive, so I had to be careful not to overwrite anything important.

As a freelance designer, I don’t need overly complex software. This solution is light, fast, and easy to understand. I can track income, expenses, and even generate basic reports. Their support was responsive when I had a question about formula errors too. Highly recommend.

I’ve used a few different accounting tools, but this Excel-based system is exactly what I was looking for. It’s intuitive, especially if you’re already familiar with Excel. Awesome customer service, fantastic software. The support has been incredible, they helped migrate my data from Qbooks into their fantastic xcel accounting software. Cant thank them enough. I am a 30 year accountant and used Qbooks all these years, the greed with Intuit had me searching high and low for new accounting software that was not cloud based. Xcel Books came to the rescue.

I tried XcelBooks accounting software for my small business. It can issue and print invoices, estimates and purchase orders. Also, I can record all my transactions in one place. The file size is small which is very convenient. Their customer support are super helpful and so professional. Actually, I am happy that I migrated from my previous accounting software to XcelBooks.

Excellent file , have much useful features comparing to it's price it is perfect and much value, with a helpful customer service who replies to the emails very fast.

I am looking for an excel based accounting software. The majority of reviews I have seen on xcelbooks are based on what this program CLAIMS to do. Is there anyone out there who is actually using xcelbooks to run their business? Or does everyone reviewing just think it's a great idea that they WANT to try? I also note that bbb.org has NO search results for this company. Is this even a real company? No surprise xcelbooks domain is private.

Disclosure... I have been given full version of this software for free in exchange for testing it and giving an honest impression once we have put it through its paces.

First impression - Because I have not yet tested this software, I can only comment on their support,

I had a few questions so I sent them an email. 16 minutes later I had a reply. So far, I can say the support is very responsive, and hope this is the norm.

Once I've had time to put the software through its paces, I will come back and tell you more of my findings.

Looking forward to using the software, hopefully it’s as good as it’s shown on their website.
