Gross Misrepresentation

Gross Misrepresentation - I had quite a long telephone conversation with this company to try to get some reassurance about accuracy of colour matching aerosols to BS codes. I was given very specific reasons why the methodology this company uses would deliver a close match.
I paid over £27.00 for a single aerosol to be delivered to me. When it arrived it bore no Your Spray Paints branding whatsoever. The company that manufactured and dispatched the aerosol is mppaints who on their own web site offer the same product for £16.00 delivered. The aerosol can is clearly and exclusively their brand. When I asked if they were the same company as Your Spray Paints they categorically denied this and said they simply supply products to them, they also refused to endorse the production methodology claimed by Your Spray Paints. In my opinion Your Spray Paints knowingly deceives, misrepresents, profiteers and brings mppaints, who seem a decent enough professional trader, into disrepute. Your Spray Paints seems to simply be a drop shipping operation of the worst kind. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Obnoxious customer service

Obnoxious customer service!

Ordered ‘antique brass’ in full faith, £27 for one tin!!!
Happily received, then followed all instructions about upside down, shaking for 2 mins etc. what came out was mustard yellow!!!!! I was totally shocked!!!!
Dave (not a helpful guy) tried to persuade me the colour was correct! Totally rubbish!!! Antique brass has a brownish tinge to it, DEFINITELY not mustard yellow!!!
He suggested I re-order!!!
Do NOT deal with this company.

We are sorry that the shade was not what you personally expected, but this review contains several misleading statements that require clarification.

“Antique Brass” is not one standardised colour. Our professional colour database contains more than 60 different options associated with that description, ranging from yellow-gold shades through to much darker brown tones.

You selected and ordered the specific colour code RAL 080 70 50, and that is precisely the colour we mixed and supplied. With bespoke paint, the exact colour code must be checked before ordering, as we cannot know which of the many variations a customer has imagined from a descriptive name.

The paint itself was £15 plus VAT—not £27 for one tin as stated. The £27 total included VAT and delivery to your address.

For clarity, Dave did not suggest that you reorder from us. He advised you to verify the precise colour code required before ordering from any other supplier, to prevent the same disappointment occurring again.

Had the paint not matched the code ordered, we would have investigated it as a mixing error. In this case, the correct selected colour was supplied—the issue was the choice of shade, not the manufacture of the paint.

What a breath of fresh air having a…

What a breath of fresh air having a company with a phone line and a knowledgeable person to explain what you need. This is where I bought the spray paint for my furniture project and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Mike

Would not buy from here again

My original review was flagged by the business owner for defamatory content so this is an edited review which hopefully trustpilot will accept. I don't believe it was but hey. Recommend you do your own research on this company before using. So here is my update review. I would still never buy from here again. The paint that was provided was not made, mixed or packaged by them. There was a catalogue of errors by the courier for which I have evidence and the emails from them were, in my opinion, rude, arrogant and unhelpful.

UPDATE: I ordered the exact same product from a different website and it was left in a safe place without issue and the brand label is the same company that I believed I was ordering from.

For clarity, all spray paints supplied by Your Spray Paints are mixed, filled and packaged by our own team in the UK. We use established UK suppliers for raw materials, but every finished product is produced by us to the customer’s specification.

During your order we provided the full courier tracking information and supported you with the updates we received from the carrier. We always aim to be clear, responsive and helpful, and we are sorry if our communication did not come across that way to you.

Ordered 4 spray paints in Farrow and…

Ordered 4 spray paints in Farrow and Ball colours. I ordered it in Matt. The spray paints covered my radiators very well and I am extremely pleased with the colours. I called first before I ordered.

Items missing, customer service non-existent

I received an incomplete order and tried contacting customer service. Five days later, the stuff I paid for still did not materialize, and no reply from customer service. Tried calling, but nobody is picking up the phone.

What a horrible company

What a horrible company, I have made a purchase of two spray paint from them, they have sent the package without notice, my details have not been shared with DHL which didn't contact me for delivery, delivery attempts or contact of any kind, now yourspraypaint don't want to fix their mistakes and I have lost my purchase which is not refundable..... What a company!!!!

For clarity, your order was dispatched promptly and DHL attempted delivery twice at the address provided. When no one was available to receive the parcel, it was taken to your local DHL Service Point for collection. DHL also issued a card and electronic updates to notify you, and we supplied you with the tracking details to help you collect it.

Your details were provided to DHL as part of the shipment, and the order had remained available for collection since their second delivery attempt. We have always been happy to assist and provided the information needed to retrieve the parcel.
