I’m extremely disappointed with Wren Kitchens and the way they have handled my complaint regarding the flooring supplied as part of our kitchen.

We paid £1,407.99 for the Brecon Seashell Oak flooring and door trims, plus a further £800 for professional installation. We invested our family’s savings into our kitchen and expected the flooring to be a durable, long-term product.

Unfortunately, the flooring began showing significant scratching within the first year and has progressively deteriorated. We have one medium-sized family dog and the floor has only had normal day-to-day domestic use. We previously had traditional laminate flooring with the same dog and never experienced anything like this.

The flooring was marketed as “pet friendly”, which was a factor in our decision to purchase it. When I questioned what “pet friendly” actually means if normal pet claws are excluded from consideration, neither the manufacturer nor Wren has given me a satisfactory explanation.

Wren's response has essentially been that the manufacturer says scratches aren't a manufacturing fault and therefore aren't covered by the warranty. I understand that no floor is completely scratch-proof, but that doesn't address my concern about whether a premium product marketed as pet friendly should deteriorate to this extent after only 17 months.

I am also now faced with potentially paying again for removal and installation, having already spent £800 on fitting.

Wren have offered replacement flooring at “cost price”, but this still leaves me paying towards replacing a product that I believe has failed to meet reasonable expectations. I requested either a refund of the £1,407.99 flooring cost or an alternative flooring supplied free of charge. Both were refused.

What has disappointed me most is the customer service. I am Wren's customer, yet I feel my concerns have repeatedly been passed back to the manufacturer rather than Wren taking ownership of the issue.

We have been recommended to the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO), which I am thinking of pursuing for an independent review.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering flooring through Wren carefully researches the product and understands exactly what their “pet friendly” claims mean before committing to the purchase.

Delivery service arrived as planned and on time

There was a couple of issues with broken units ( these had been obviously packed broken in factory supplying units as outer packaging was in tact and had no sign of damage)

Called the customer service line and my queries were dealt with very quickly by Amanda and Farhaaj and the matters were resolved.

Great experience with M HAQUE who attended our house to do a site survey. He was polite, prompt and professional. Very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. He even got the seal of approval from the cats who supervised his visit!!

IIze let us know when she would arrived and arrived on time. She was friendly and professional. She answered a few questions and got on with measuring our kitchen.

S Jeffs arrived on time. Was polite and carried out measurements efficiently and effectively.

Excellent service, the surveyor (J Taylor) came out and worked efficiently, answering all my questions - i felt very reassured and happy to be looked after in the process.

Mitchell and Toby are Great blokes, delivered my kitchen and utility today with appliances. Put exactly where I asked them to with no fuss at all.

I ordered a bedroom in February 2026 . The store staff and designer were very good and helpful. I had the bedroom delivered at the beginning of March and there were parts missing and parts that didn’t belong. The first fitter who came was very professional and did an excellent job but failed to return to complete it. The next fitter arranged to come but then cancelled in the evening after I’d arranged for someone to be in for the whole day. The third fitter was excellent. Wren don’t have their own fitters and rely on independent people. It is complete now but it has taken 5 months and 34 emails to reach this point. The finished product is very nice but the whole experience has been frustrating, stressful and disappointing . The customer services department is appalling. It seems once you’ve paid upfront they are simply not interested. The installation department is a shambles. I would absolutely not recommend Wren

Our kitchen and bedroom are both perfect. We are very happy with the design, materials etc but a little hitch with the delivery of the wrong Quooker boiler caused some hassle until Rebekah was appointed case manager and it was resolved promptly. Full marks to her but the customer service people could have done much more to understand and resolve the problem swiftly and improve our experience. They insisted we should have realised the boiler was the wrong one when it was delivered. I am no expert and it was only when our plumber arrived as scheduled we knew it was wrong and raised it immediately as a problem.

C. Smith carried out my measure today and was friendly, reassuring and professional throughout. She explained that she needed to ask me a few questions, and talked me through the next steps clearly. She was approachable, willing to answer any queries we had, and helped make the process straightforward and well understood.

Our home measure service was fantastic. Shane (Weyman) arrived exactly when he said he would, was incredibly professional and just the loveliest person. The process was quicker than expected and confirmed that our decision to use Wren was absolutely the right one. What a great team of people. Thank you

S Perera came to do our home measurements visit today for fitted wardrobes in main bedroom. She was really efficient and communicated with us. Happy with the service we received!
