Wazo Furniture was started by two recording studio owners that wanted to furnish their studios and home studios with modern chairs at an affordable price. Turned out they also had friends in film editing, and web design that wanted the same chairs for their creative spaces. So they made contact with some of the best chair replica manufacturers in China and started importing them just to sell at a fair price to their creative peers..

Please be aware that this place is no longer in business, the physical location is closed, and people keep showing up to get their orders but nobody will open the door. They delete the negative reviews from their website but still to this day will take new orders. It’s basically fraud, and will be reporting to the police.

Ordered side table in June 2024, still have not received it

I ordered a side table in June 2024. They told me that it was out of stock and supposedly would be delivered in October. It is January 2, 2025 and I still have not received the item. I have tried to contact them several times, but customer support is non-existent. This looks like a scam company, as I've seen that many other customers are complaining about it. DON'T BUY WAZO.

Customer service is not in their…

Customer service is not in their vocabulary. 6 weeks and still waiting. Multiple calls - waited on hold over 60 minutes. No response. Multiple emails. No response. Completely ridiculous.

Can’t even speak to quality as I still don’t have my couch and chair.

No customer service!

I would give Wazo zero stars if possible. I never received my delivery when I was supposed to. The next day I attempted to contact both the delivery company and Wazo. The delivery company (Ave Logistics) actually reached out to me first and promised that they would try to get my furniture delivered. Turns out, Wazo stopped paying them so they stopped all deliveries. When I tried to call Wazo, I was on hold for over an hour two different times. Other times I called I got a recording that said their office was closed (even though I was calling within the business hours as stated on the recording). I sent multiple emails for which I received the standard automated response (we have received your email, you will be contacted within 48 hours). Still no response from their customer service. I now have to rely on the fact that the delivery company says they have my furniture and will deliver it some time next week. Otherwise, no help from Wazo!!

Do not buy from this company!

I bought a live edge table, 5 counter stools, 6 dining chairs and a console table. I told Kelvin that my new furniture cannot be delivered until Nov23. The home would not be ready until the 23 and that I would like delivery then. Every time we discussed delivery; it was always for the Saturday Nov23. I received 3 calls and emails from their delivery co. that they were going to deliver on Nov3, and Kelvin knew that this home would not by mine at that time. At first, Kelvin was very nice but that changed when they get your money. I called him numerous times about this issue. They never pick up. I texted him and he did reply and he said he would fix it. I received 4 more notifications from their delivery co. and when contacting Kelvin, he seemed annoyed I was reaching out to him. I had also reached out to Wazo customer service at 330PM one day, placed on hold only for at 5 pm, I was played a recording that their customer service is closed!

One of their chairs went on sale and Kelvin told me that I could get my money back if the chairs went on sale before delivery - which they did. So I contacted service@wazo and they informed me that it could only be store credit and directed me to their policy on their website...that didn't bother me as much, but I did end up buying a console table from Kelvin and he promised delivery before Christmas but it would be separate from my original order of the dining chairs, saur table and counter chairs.

Fast forward to Nov22, I havent heard from Wazo, so I reached out to Kelvin to find out when delivery for the 23rd would be... he then informed me they do not deliver on weekend. I asked him when will it be delivered, he said he would get back to me...which he did not, and I had to follow up with him.

Nov25th, I get a call from their delivery co. telling me they will deliver Nov27. I get a call Nov27 that they cannot find my table, they will reschedule for Nov29. On the 29th, the delivery co. representative calls me and said they are having a hard time finding my table and that she will get back to me. So I asked her what is happening and she said no one at Wazo was informing her of what is happen and she will go there directly. On Nov30th, I went into the store and Kelvin was extremely arrogant. I told him no one picks up at the store or customer service and his response was "look around, we are busy". I told him that the delivery company called me and said they cannot find the table and are going to the store to speak to someone as no one picks up. His response was "do you see the table here? It's not here, so I dont know what you want me to do". I said to him " you represent wazo, can you call your delivery company and get to the bottom of this". He then questioned me on why I cancelled delivery when I told him it wasn't me who cancelled it was their delivery company because they couldn't find the table. He deflected and didn't want to assist. In the end, he said he will call the delivery co. So I left. On Dec2, the delivery co. calls me and said they found the table and will deliver dec3. I asked her did Kelvin reach out to her, she said no. No one did, she had to go to the store to get the table - although Kelvin said it wasn't there. On Dec3, I received boxes that looked like they were thrown around, a counter stool with broken legs, and a cracked saur table. I called Kelvin absolutely frustrated with Wazo. He hangs up on me and then proceeds to block my cell number. I emailed customer service on Dec3 and to my surprise - they responded quickly after I sent the pictures. They offered $200 or a replacement. I had also asked about the console table which they said was still on the way. I followed up 3 times with service and haven't heard back. On Sat Dec21 at 1pm I went to the store. Google said they were opened and of course, they don't pick up the phones. When I went - their doors were closed. There were other customers outside upset. My next step is the Better Business Bureau - where they are rated an F. Buyer be ware! Check my Google review for pictures

Non-existent customer service

I purchased about $6000 of furniture last year from Wazo and most of it was good.

The only problem arose with the Featherstone chair. It arrived with the chair leg hoop bent out of shape so you can’t put a bolt through it.

I requested a replacement leg and after three months of waiting there was absolutely no word on it coming.

I check in on the status of the replacement leg in reasonable intervals (a week to two weeks) and the response time with customer service becomes longer and longer. When I initially contacted them it would take a day or two to get a response. At the end it would take over a month or close to a month to receive a response.

Finally customer service said they would just send me a whole new chair, which is where the truly bizarre part comes in. The new chair also has a defective leg in that the front and back legs are installed backwards.

I have reached out to customer service again on November 8, 2024 offering the two unusable chairs I now have to exchange for something else and as of December 5, 2024 it has been complete radio silence.

I would just advise you to not buy the Featherstone chair and if the items you get aren't defective, then it's fine. However if you need some kind of customer service then you're screwed there is no customer service.

EDIT (Dec 19 '24): Still no response to my email from November 8. I tried calling customer service multiple times but the line just disconnects.

I also tried to text Kelvin who I assume is a customer service rep for help. He cold-texted me as I added a couple items to cart but didn't check out.

EDIT (Dec 20 '24) Kelvin does not respond to text message.

Tried calling customer service. The line actually did not automatically disconnect today but I gave up after a two hour hold.

Well, looks like I too have been scammed. They took my money on Dec 4th, confirmed my order by email with an order number, now nothing!!!!

How many attempts do I need to make to get a hold of someone?

In early November, I ordered two chairs to provide comfortable seating for my elderly father when he comes for Christmas dinner. When the order arrived, I unpacked the box to find no tools or screws to assemble the chairs. I sent a message right away (mid-November) to WAZO but never received a reply. Then on Friday (Dec. 13), after patiently waiting for some kind of message from WAZO, I phoned. I was on hold for 75 minutes before giving up. I tried again on Saturday morning but the store does not except calls on weekends. So I opted to send a second email asking for some kind of response. But nothing. I phoned again today (Monday) but I was politely disconnected at 5 p.m. (after being on hold again for 30 minutes) because the customer service line closed at that time. I wish there was an alternative way to get a hold of someone to get any feedback on my order, especially since Christmas is a week away and I can't use the chairs I purchased six weeks ago for the family gathering I'm hosting.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. Wazo Furniture has provided the most unprofessional and infuriating experience I’ve ever encountered.

We placed an order on October 16, 2024, with a promised delivery of 10-14 days. Two months later, we’re still waiting, with no clear answers. Reaching their customer service is nearly impossible. Their phone rings endlessly, only to put you on hold for over two hours before disconnecting. Emails sent to their provided addresses bounce back because they’re no longer active.

It gets worse. Our sales rep, who finally responded after repeated outreach, casually informed us she had been laid off. No one else from Wazo took responsibility for our order. We even had to send a family member to their Ontario store (we live in Alberta) to get any update—only to learn that they are just now “working on locating our order.”

This company is the definition of chaos and incompetence. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and avoid Wazo Furniture at all costs. They have no regard for their customers or their commitments.

Avoid at all costs!

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I ordered a bed which came 3 months late. The pieces didn’t fit together. No one from customer service has answered any of my emails over the last 3 months, no one answers their customer care phone number. I have wasted hours of my life sitting on hold because “there’s a high volume of calls”. It’s a joke. I have also called both their Toronto and Montreal locations to try to speak to someone, and when I call during the day, the answering machine says I’m calling outside of business hours, or the phone line simply hangs up. I have this massive unusable bed repackaged and boxed up, and no one is available to answer me to help me get rid of it. I’m at a complete loss and incredibly disappointed. Do not order from this company because if anything goes wrong, you’re on your own.

Terrible customer service

Went into store ordered and paid. They were good at that part.3 weeks later no action no delivery date. No response to emails. If you call they disconnect you or put you on hold for an hour oh and then disconnect you. Do not do it!!

Scammers of a company

Scammers of a company.

Customer service does not respond to emails or phone calls. I purchased the wrong sofa by accident online and was told by sales staff to reach out to customer service to cancel it prior to shipment so I won't get charged, and to reorder the correct one. However, customer service does not respond to calls or emails and I've been charged for both sofas.

You will be put on hold for 2+ hours then the line will disconnected. I did this for 6 days. I have sent upwards of 20 emails and no response.

The only one you can speak to a person is to schedule a "sales meeting". They called me excited to sell me something, but when I asked to for help they say they have no contact with customer service, cannot help me in any way. They did not know how to escalate the situation to anyone.

They're return policy states you can get refund if you return within 2 weeks. Good luck with that because they literally have never responded to anything in 2+ weeks.
