Absolutely shocking app. Unable to even register. What on earth is going on with this? Appears to be designed to block access to healthcare.

Two Paramedics, Chris and Kirsty are both an absolute credit to the Welsh Ambulance Service!
Consequent to an accidental fall in the bathroom upstairs recently, I fell in a heap in the afternoon while my wife was tidying up the stables just behind the house. At 77 years of age, I lay totally helpless for more than half an hour before finally managing to get up carefully and go into the adjoining bedroom. By the time my wife found me, I was in serious pain which gradually got worse! Not responding to any painkillers, the only option left was to dial 999 about 9pm. Unfortunately due to the massive strains facing the Ambulance Services, my wife was informed it could be 8 hours or more before we could expect an ambulance. Past midnight we were in bed when there were knocks on the front door about 2am to find it was ambulance crew of two Paramedics, Chris and Kirsty ! They walked upstairs and introduced themselves before asking me questions to assess my condition and setting about the procedures to make further assessments: blood pressure, O2 saturation, ECT, etc etc. They both were extraordinarily, professional, kind and caring showing total dedication to help me ! Offered me the choice of being taken to A & E at Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen where I could be left, informing me that it could be the following morning at the earliest before I could be attended to as it was overwhelmed by the demands! Or, for my wife to take me to the Minor Injuries Unit at the Integrated Health Care Centre in Cardigan in the morning which we both accepted. They left us about 4am !
We expressed our wholehearted gratitude to their excellence as they couldn’t have done any better!
NHS App for WALES -- USELESS, Eluned Morgan Totally useless
NHS App for WALES -- USELESS
This was introduced before being finalised, the My Health Online was scrapped before this app was any good we have a useless Minister for Health Eluned Morgan in Wales, time and time again a total failure we have a third world health service in wales if you are taken to hospital for treatment and then sent home still very ill you have to make your own way, pathetic.
Eluned Morgan has failed miserably on many areas and no improvement in sight the pathetic Labour welsh government should sack her, the abysmal track record is proven, you can only access your previous prescriptions on the useless app Wales On Line stated 'NHS gives 80 per cent of patients access to medical records' what a huge lie no medical records or test results or referrals or anything else a total failure but that is to be expected in wales we are treated by UK/England as a third world country, not like Scotland at least they had a First Minister that actually done some good for Scotland not like our previous 2 clowns, criminal to the people of Wales
Worse than useless
Total waste of time, if you do not drive or have a passport, good luck registering. I have voter ID card as my only form of photo ID and it is not accepted. My surgery is as ignorant to the workings of this mess as I am so cannot get the arbitrary numbers needed from them. I was using the "MyHealthOnline" site with absolutely no issues, why is it so hard to use this one? If I did not know better I would suggest they do not really want us to use it, it's for the upper classes not us scumbags on disability. Do better NHS WALES!
Nhs app impossible to use.
Like others I am trying to get on the NHS Wales app. I am fairly computer literate and can use a desktop or laptop easily. My passport is 10 years old so cannot be accepted. I have an intermittent mobile signal so having to use Android is a problem. For years I have used the existing system to login with no problem. Their help desk keeps saying we are looking for a third party provider to help. I am still waiting.
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.
After 4 months of trying since installing the app, able to log in but that's it. Cannot make an appointment, see or order my repeat prescription, see my records. Contacting a human being is impossible. Helpline suggests I sort this out with my surgery. Surgery says it's nothing to do with them, and contact the app. Messages state that they are having problems with some patients and to keep trying. Reinstalled the app twice. Any help requested just sends you into the circle again. Not fit for purpose in my opinion
Where to begin
Where to begin. What a shower of s##t from GP all the way through to consultant and everything in between. The level of incompetence and self importance is beyond comprehension.
Wales NHS is a mess
Where do you start The system in Wales is absolutely broken You cannot get an appointment for love no money unless you are unemployed of course because you have all the time in the world to wait for an appointment. I recently made an appointment went to my local surgery logged in to the computer system waited 3/4 of an hour only to be told The system hadn't recognized me and there is nothing they could do for me could I possibly come back tomorrow. I only work for a living I have all the time in the world to mess about being ill and losing time off work. How can a system that has so much money swelling around inside its coffers be so inept. You may as well die on the street because the NHS isn't coming to your rescue anytime soon.

My child had a procedure (24-2) here(MORRISTONS SWANSEA) at quick notice, absolutely fantastic treatment, couldn’t have possibly done any more, staff on children’s plastic ward were very friendly, very knowledgeable. Very grateful thank you
Thankyou so much for all the help and…
Thankyou so much for all the help and kind support from the NHS staff ,I'm so grateful to you all for your support ,thankyou millions for saving my son's life ❤️
Cancelled appointment!
Drive 100 miles, taking unpaid day off, to be told your appointment has been cancelled 2 days ago and they sent a letter. No doubt the letter will arrive tomorrow. 2023 and they can’t text or email. Best hire a diversity and inclusion director or something!! Not fit for purpose and untouchable. Sorry isn’t really good enough. NHS needs scrapping and starting again!!
cancer treatment
husband treated over phone with very wrong diagnosis by gp. he ended up in and out of hospital over few weeks. consulted requested mri three times, only when singleton hospital requested mri he received it. then told he was too weak to receive chemo or radiotherapy. husband died days later. i have yet to have an explanation to my complaint.
my husband worked hard all his life, was rewarded with this treatment.
Can’t say too much as I work here
Can’t say too much as I work here. But let’s just say - shocking
Do not work for Cwm Taf Healthboard!
I worked with the Cwm Taf Healthboard on a contract role and the manager abruptly pulled me aside at 4:30pm and told me that they were terminating my contract for being late by 5 minutes which was due to the adverse weather travelling from Cardiff which I left earlier for to try and avoid being late, and taken an extra 10 minutes of my lunch as I was waiting for my food which took much longer than expected (which I explained and you are only given 30 minutes for a lunch break) and been told that a member in the team felt I wasn't doing any work or really helping and integrating with the team which I did nothing but provide my knowledge base when it arised and had office banter with them.
I submitted my time sheet for the 2 days I worked and they are refusing to pay me for the 2 days and only want to pay me for 1 day citing further lies to my contract employers saying that I was refusing to take work and arguing with fellow members of staff. Also, I wasn't given any direction of what I was to be doing at all and was asked to pick up "some" calls in the meantime and it was only until I was told to leave that I was told what I would have been doing the next day as it would have techinically been my first day doing what I was contracted in for but they wanted to slowly implement their staff in to their jobs.
I am currently disputing this as they have no evidence to back this up and it has left me in a difficult situation.
I highly recommend NOT working for the Cwm Taf Healthboard in Williamstown's IT Department.
To be honnest the whole of the NHS in…
To be honnest the whole of the NHS in Wales stinks. Just phoned my doctor to get a sick note for the dwp and was told I could get one in three weeks. Back in August I had an accident wich has rendered me not fit to work, I have lived off my savings up till now and not made a claim but my savings are all gone, I can't get sick pay but I am able to get benefits to live off till I return to work. My doctor's have told me it's not an emergency and I would have to wait three weeks to get a note to give to dwp. Plus I can't get in for a tooth extraction till December. As for the note that's all the doctor has to do is write one out but he won't, patient care no longer exists and to be honnest animals are treated better at the vets. The health care in this country is non existent.
Not answering phone in centre
Not answering phone in centre in Merthyr for covid vaccine appointments, trying for nearly 3 days, on link doesn’t work either, plenty said when you don’t turn up for vaccine, never mind that you weren’t able to cancel. can’t keep ringing when in work, and come 6 pm the message states the closed and to ring between 9 and 6 when they not answering
Out of hours dental support
Had to contact out of hous dental service-dentist rang me back Saturday morning-good advice-prescription arranged-had to travel from Vale to CRI Tto collect on Pride week-end-all bus routes changed, eventually got home 4 hours later-it is 2022 surely e-mail could be used to lodge with local pharmacy-dentist said this was "Stopped" some time ago so obviously elderly or infirm people would struggle withis process-again good work by NHS Wales undermined by a feeling that patients are secondary to the organisation.
NHS 💔
Went to our local A & E dept recently. On my way to the entrance, I saw a young lady doubled up in pain and crying sat on the floor outside. The nurses told her she would be seen soon. People were queuing out of the door, in order to be booked in. As I entered in through the double doors, I can only describe the scene as organized chaos. Like something out of the TV series M.A.S.H. Opened mouthed I almost backed out through the doors.
Managed to find a seat but the size of the A & E dept has shrunk by a good 40%, since I last saw it in 2016. There is not enough room for the "walking wounded" to sit down, let alone a carer pushing somebody in a hospital chair. Mothers with pushchairs/ prams can forget it. They had to stand by the entrance or carry in a sick baby/ child.
I saw all of humanity there, in the ten hours that I sat in my seat. The frail and old, a lot of vomiting into carboard bowls, distressed people in a lot of pain. I have never seen such a high volume of sick and needy people, all in one visit to A & E. The only people that were being seen to reasonably quickly, were the infants and the mentally ill.
A criminal who came in handcuffed to prison staff was put to sit away from the general public and I did see one of the prison guards ask a nurse how much longer to wait, as he pointed to his watch. We were then all treated to a foreign lady who was shouting at staff about ambulance waiting times, having to wear a mask and why her child wasn`t being seen to immediately. I must admit, having already been patiently waiting for 8 hours by then. I was ready to tell her to f &%k off back to your own country, if our NHS is not to your liking.
I was told a general anesthetic was needed, so I signed the consent form. Both of these doctors told me that this hospital was hampered by politics and lack of beds. This interfered with their abilities to do their jobs properly. I was told to come back the following day, as a bed would be available.
I went back and was spoken to as if I were 4 years old or had a low IQ. The Consultant was rude, patronizing and told me there is no bed for you, as you are a low priority for us! I was given a local anesthetic and only half a job done. He had over ruled his Registrars. Their faces said it all. They were battle weary and had failed to deliver the care, that I was entitled too. The staff are on their knees there. Exhausted and trying to do their best, in a broken system. If I wasn`t in so much pain, I would have asked more questions of these two brave doctors, who were speaking out.
Aneurin `nye` Bevan a Labour minister, created the NHS in 1948 having witnessed poverty and disease through out his childhood. My God he would weep if he could see the state of his beloved NHS today. Successive governments have been negligent in looking after Bevan`s NHS. Lives are being lost because of a failing and now broken NHS.
The National Health Service... 5th July 1948 - 2022.
Wait times are awful.
Wait times are awful.
Doctors do not empathise.
Try their best to avoid seeing patients.
No empathy whatsoever.
Booking appointment with a GP is a challenge.
There should be an option to record feedback by patients after they see a GP.
Some doctors act as if they are doing a favour by seeing patients. I guess it's understandable as whether they show empathy or not, they still get paid and patients cannot really record their feedback.
Not enough staff & underfunded
Not enough staff & underfunded. I will have to wait for a bed after a stroke... Could be 48 hours for all we know!
Where did our National Insurance contributions go?
Shambolic & inept service!

16 hours wait in A +E with unstable angina and suspected heart attack. Absolute failure of a service.
