We stayed at Villa Rocamar in Menorca during June and the villa was lovely, amazing pool and stunning location, probably even better than the photos. The biggest drawbacks were the lack of aircon, especially as it was particularly hot weather and a small barbeque. Would have been nice to have some basics in the kitchen like salt and pepper and more wine glasses as there were only about 10 in total, in various sizes.
If I was rating just the villa it would easily have been 4 star but the UK staff of Villa Select and the local rep were not 4 star.
The rep came to the villa on our first day and we reported that one of the toilets was broken, the flush was faulty. She said she'd reported it previously and assumed it had been fixed but she would get onto the management company. We heard nothing after that, no-one turned up to fix it and she did not contact us to see if it had been fixed. Fortunately there are 5 bathrooms so it was not a big issue for us just not very efficient! The information pack in the villa is not relevant to the local area.
The booking process was also somewhat slapdash. Requests for forms and were repeated, the payment made for the balance of the holiday was not receipted until I chased it and emails were sent asking for information that I had given (to the sender of the email) on the phone on a previous occasion. It did not inspire confidence.
Overall though we had a brilliant holiday and I would recommend the villa.

Fantastic Villa & Excellent Company

We had an excellent holiday at Villa Punta Faro in Majorca. It is an exceptionally high quality villa which has been custom built to live in and is not the type of villa you will normally find available for rental. We can highly recommend this villa and also Villa Select who are extremely efficient and highly reliable.

Very good couldn't fault them . The villas we booked were excellent and Mark Bruno are rep here was excellent with any enquiries or concerns we may have had before we travelled . I would definitely use them again .

Villa Select are a very friendly, reliable and trustworthy company, nothing is too much much trouble for them. We've never had any problems booking a villa and have always booked with them and will continue to do so. Would recommend to anyone looking to book a villa.

We stayed at C'an Peric in Pollensa, Majorca, it was our 3rd year there and will definitely be going back next year.

Myself and my partner stayed at Trapezaki Bay Cottage in Kefalonia in August last year and had such a brilliant holiday. The service which we received from Villa Select prior to going could not be faulted and the villa itself was just beautiful. It was a very peaceful setting with taverna's and a shop within walking distance. We hired a car and did drive to other parts of the island which I would recommend others to do as it really is such a beautiful island. Will definitely be booking with Villa Select again!

We stayed at Villa Magdala, near Cala d'Or. It was immaculate in every way but the real wow factor was the location, bang on the water. There was sunshine from sunrise to sunset and shady areas throughout the day too. Lovely pool, very private and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, the marina and a couple of beaches. Def recommend a car though so you can explore the gorgeous little coves such as Cala Sa Nau and Cala Mandrago. We'll be back.

Perfect from start to finish. Family holiday in Kafalonia in a fantastic villa overlooking the Ionian Sea. Couldn't get better. All staff really friendly. Thank you Deborah who was very helpful. Only one downside! We had to come home. Thank you Villa Select.

Our first holiday with Villa Select. Help from the start from the office, dealing with Lottie. She had stayed in the villa we booked and was able to provide lots of useful information. The villa in Menorca was very modern and high tech. However, there had been a flood in the kitchen on our day of arrival. The wooden laminate was coming up and was dangerous to walk on. Sharon was superb. She organised a suitable floor covering to ensure a safer environment. She also leant us her own floor fan as the air con was not working and it was very hot in the villa. The local "help on the ground" is so important when holidaying abroad and for this reason we will book again with Villa Select. The villa could have been in better condition and the bedding was well worn, hence 4 and not 5 stars.

Really good communication throughout the whole process. Great to have the hamper of food and bits on arrival. Local rep was great and one issue with the sprinkler system was resolved within 24 hours of mentioning it.

Amazing holiday with Villa Select. The Villa in Cala D'or was superb. Loved the welcome pack and the beach towels were a great addition. Thanks to a great holiday.

As a family we have been using Villa Select for approximately 30 plus years and have found them to be a fantastic efficient company to deal with. Villa Selct have changed over the years but remain a great Company to deal with, We have in 30 years never had any issues concerning them, A very professional but friendly company to deal with.

Excellent quality holiday at a beautiful villa in Mallorca. Great value for money, and everything in the villa was just as it was advertised on the website. We had one tiny issue in the villa during our stay and the Villa Select representative coordinated the resolution of that with the villa owner very quickly and efficiently. Great service and would definitely book with Villa Select again.

Our fifth Villa Select rental, first in Portugal. I always choose Villa Select over any other company (if the price is right and comparable) as their service has always been excellent. I appreciate the free welcome packs and rep mobile number (always whats app as its free to contact).
This Villa, Solar das Laranjeiras did not disappoint. It was far too big for the three of us but at only £490 for the week was a bargain not to be missed. Its sister villa next door was £950 for the same week in April with Villa Plus.
The villa was immaculate. Everything worked perfectly. The batteries in the remote for the TV needed replacing but a quick whats App and they arrived! The beds were comfy, electric shutters on the windows and doors made letting in the light easy. The alarm and safe were easy to use and reassuring. The pool was fab, the cover easy to remove each morning. My only suggestion to make this villa perfect is more outdoor furniture. There is only the 8 seater wooden table and chairs and a smaller plastic table. A villa this size really needs an outdoor sofa set and some balcony furniture. The best views are from the huge balcony but there is nothing to sit on. A rattan sofa set on the large balcony and bistro set on the small balcony would make it all the more enjoyable.
We really enjoyed our holiday here, we felt safe and appreciated the villas high spec interior. Looking forward to our next Villa Select holiday on the Costa Blanca this summer.

This was the second time we used Villa Select, having stayed in Pollenca before at another company's villa that still has some "Villa Select" stickers - in the bathroom (free advertising?). Gave Villa Select a try last year (Es Carritxo, Mallorca) and was impressed. Fantastic little Villa for 2. Great spot. Spot on service from resort manager and from Mark Bruno back in the U.K.

This year we went back to Mallorca (Estanco, Pollenca) and all in all we were not disappointed. Comfortable villa with a view 'to die for' perched above the Town. And yes, you can see the sea, just, with a 200mm lens!

The weather was "iffy" and there was the only downer. I guess we were the first, or nearly first, renters of the year and when we arrived on a less warm afternoon, the villa had been aired, every window was open. It was cold and windy. My wife spent 12h wrapped in a blanket and the small electric radiator provided wasn't really up to the job.

Now, Villa Select are not responsible for the weather but I think that they / the owner could have a plan B for cooler weather. The weather warmed up, as did the villa so all was well.

Final comments? Welcome pack was good but Pollenca has an excellent range of shops including Lidl. Maid service? Villa spotless on arrival (if chilly) - just decorated? The mid week clean and towel change was so so, no noticeable sweeping of wiping of surfaces and we feel we are tidy folk.

Will we go again? Yes but maybe not in late April.

Another year and another Villa, this time in Majorca and booked within a week or so of departure. Villa Select Service was excellent and all went well as expected. Out Local rep', Lorraine was very helpful and attentive.

This was the first time we have used Villa Select and I have to say that their service has been first class. The booking process was straight forward, Deborah the rep in Kefalonia was fantastic - she personally delivered a great little map she had drawn showing detailed directions to the villa, to the hotel we were staying in for our first night. The welcome hamper was great and the villa first class. Would whole heartedly recommend Villa Select.

We have used villa select a few times over the years and never been disappointed and once again the villa exceeded our expectations and talking to the owner at the end of the season is to be made even better.the villa select representative in Majorca could not have been more helpful and ensured we came away with great memories of a fabulous holiday.
