Victoriana Nursery Gardens Anmeldelser

My first time order of seeds from this company. Very small quantity in the packet and the germination rates were 0-20% with all 14 varieties, apart from radishes (though ridiculously small amount) and carrots ( too early for those). Have ordered from Real Seeds for years and from Premier seeds too and have never had similar experience with poor germination.

The customer service and delivery was OK, hence the one star.

Excellent quality seedlings delivered super fast and in fantastic condition, highly recommend these guys if you want to jump past growing from seed.

Quick delivery, excellent standard of plant and good price. Very happy

Ordered Angel Fiahing Rod plants, was kept up to date with my plants being despatched. Delivery arrived next day!
Plants arrived well packaged with some lovely wet newspaper to keep them damp whilst in transit

Great plants great packaging also staff very helpful 10/10 service and staff.

This is a well established company I have used for 25 years of fruit and vegetable gardening, with some plants that I have from those first orders, such as sea kale and horseradish. A good range of well grown and packaged edibles, great stuff indeed. The range of herbs is exactly what I want and establish well.

I planted our asparagus bed many years ago and now the original crowns are producing spindly spears. As a result the first of 5 new crowns mark the start of a gradual replacement for the whole bed. Mary Washington was a random selection and I will select other named plants as we go along. Each year after cutting the old fronds I put o a good layer of compost. I was told long ago that asparagus as a seaside plant likes salt so I throw a few handfulls down each autumn. Kevin Dalley

Outstanding service and quality plants.
Thank you,

Kept informed throughout, plants arrived on time and look really healthy. Based on this, great place to order from

The most charming and unusual plants - often heritage varieties that aren’t widely available.

Their website is easy to navigate and they are lovely to deal with.

Plants were of a high quality well packed and arrived quickly ensuring they were all healthy and two days later are planted in my garden and looking happy. Thank You Victoriana Nursery I could not be happier and will be shopping with you again very soon

Last year a friend brought me a chili plant after a long stay in hospital, she placed the little plant into the old tiny greenhouse (inherited with the house). Sneaky way to make sure I got myself moving around, if only to the garden to check on my "baby"- I made such a beautiful jam, saved the seeds but this year nothing germinated. I was so disappointed at the thought of not remaking my chili jam, especially since this year I've branched out into the garden and created a raised bed for veggies. I found Victoriana Nursery Gardens online and today my two new baby chili plants arrived perfectly packaged, the plants expertly (caringly) wrapped the newspaper still damp. They are potted up, and I can't wait to recreate and tweak my chili jam recipe come harvest time — Sure I could have tried a different chili variety saved myself a lot of searching but this one makes amazing jam and I now have two of them :)

I bought a couple of shrubs for the first time from Victoriana Nursery. They arrived in a flimsy cardboard box with insufficient internal packaging. Two delicate Fuchsias were placed on top of one another. The stems were broken. The soil was not fresh, instead it was covered in moss as was the stems of the plants. I contacted the company asking if they wouldn't mind replacing the damaged plants. This did not go down well with the owner Serena who suggested that she was surprised how well they had arrived considering they were wrongly packed by her company which she took responsibility for. Her manner and communication is unhelpful and unprofessional. Her approach is to state lots of Acts and Horticultural Laws all of which have no relevance to the Consumer Rights we have as customers. I thought this was just a one off bad experience but I have looked further into customers experiences with this company and its owner and SO many people have had exactly the same experience. I gave the company many opportunities to correct this fault and all of which were met with an unprofessional and hostile manner. I had to take this problem to my bank and escalate a charge back as I was so unhappy with the non existent customer care. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Lovely fruit bushes, well packed, very helpful staff
I have used this company many times and would highly recommend them

Excellent service, quick and reliable customer support, huge range of products and affordable prices

Fantastic selection, fascinating information (I've learnt a lot about history and culture of botany on the product pages), fair prices. Proud Scarecrow Club member!

These nursery gardens are a great place to visit, especially with their range of soft fruits.
My order was easy to process and arrived on time.
The plants were well packed and arrived undamaged.

I ordered 5 rambling strawberry plants and received them really quickly. Good communication about my little order dispatch details.
I'm so delighted with the healthy little plants, all with strong root systems and new leaves appearing. They were really well packaged too. Highly recommend

From ordering to delivery, it was a nice and easy experience. Communication was great. The plants were well packaged and look very healthy. I can’t fault them. Thank you!

Fast delivery. I am a returning customer, very happy with my first purchased Asian pear tree a few months back. I emailed the company with a small concern about my second time buying fruit tree, they responded immediately and delivered a replacement to me. Definitely will buying again when I find some more space in my garden.
