Absolutely terrible experience — DO NOT USE VIAGOGO!

I purchased three tickets through Viagogo and never received them. I spent over two hours trying to get help, with extremely frustrating customer service and no proper solution.

The worst part was that I was standing at the event gate ready to enter, and Viagogo was still unable to provide my tickets or organise suitable replacement tickets. I was eventually told they were unable to find replacement tickets, leaving me with the possibility of completely missing the event after already paying for three tickets.

Thankfully, Ticketek still had a few tickets available, so I had no choice but to purchase new tickets again just to get inside. Otherwise, I would have completely missed out.

If you want to ruin your day and spend hours stressing at the entrance of an event, book through Viagogo. I absolutely would not recommend Viagogo to anyone and will never use them again.

The only positive part of this experience was Ammie from Viagogo, who was genuinely helpful and did her best to organise my refund at the last minute. Thank you, Ammie, for actually helping when I needed it most.

Save yourself the stress — avoid Viagogo and buy your tickets through an official ticketing platform instead.

Thought I was buying a ticket to a show from what should have been and HONEST Australian website. Ticket advertised the same price as Ticketek $180 but when I hit apple pay it pushed through a payment for $250!
You cannot contact them so currently disputing with my bank.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Recieved my tickets today for Ten Tenors. I paid 148AUD for premium stalls. Tickets are for standard stalls valued at 120AUD. Not to mention the extra for booking fee. So i paid 448AUD for two ticketd that have a face value of 240AUD thats a rip of 208AUD. I would strongly suggest not to deal with this company under any circumstances. Not able to contact them via email. This lesson cost me over $200 hope you don't get caught.

Do not purchase tickets through Viagogo! It is a third-party ticket marketplace. I have repeatedly requested a refund, including within 12 hours of purchase, but have been refused. Viagogo continues sending almost identical responses suggesting I resell the tickets, yet I never received the tickets in the first place. My bank is now investigating the transaction. I have also lodged a complaint with WA Consumer Protection and intend to raise the matter with the ACCC. As I am travelling interstate, I cannot risk being unable to attend the event. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Viagogo.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR review I would! I went online to order tickets for an event & was quoted $127 per ticket, so I ordered 2 tickets for a total $254 + I expected a booking fee. A confirmation email from Viagogo was sent, but NO TICKETS OR RECEIPT OF PURCHASE arrived...I check my bank account to see a $520.90 ($505.30 tickets + a $15.60 international booking fee) charge on my card from them!!! ..I then Google the Viagogo website to find that you Cannot get for a refund from them, though they Can Resell! (though Who would want to pay for tickets not worth what I payed for them⁉️) Now I have had to take these NON AUTHORISED CHARGES up with my bank, so 🤞> 🤬!
I WILL NEVER USE THESE SCAMMERS AGAIN & have only left this review to hopefully save you from going through what I currently am. BUYER BEWARE!

I read so many negative reviews but i had a perfect experience. Ticket purchase was simple, price was good (not inflated) and the tickets worked just fine at the gate. We had a brilliant night

Good service and being notified,but actually waiting until the morning of the event is scary and nervous,especially if you have booked travel and hotel, tickets need to be released at least 48 hours before event

Bought a ticket for Andre Rieu in Glasgow. Didn't get the seat I paid for but one very close to where I wanted to be.
Left messages to this on their feedback, tried e-mailing them but I'm still waiting for some kind of response from them.
It's going to be a very, very cold day in hell before I deal with Viagogo

I got my tickets way before the event and had a great time !!

The worst. They falsely claim you can resell your tickets which they are not letting me do without telling me the reason. Getting emails that it was a 'security' measure without understanding what that means since I am only trying to resell tickets i got for an event that I am not going, bought from their site at the same price I got them. Customer service is also the worst. They are replying to emails by saying nothing helpful at all. 'Automated services' they are alleging and nothing to do about it.

We didnt receive out tickets until the day before. Poor seats right at the back of the stalls. Ticket had a price of $99 written on it and we paid $635 for three tickets. Huge charges and won't get caught by this company again. Very disappointing.

bought 2 adult tickets receive 2 children tickets to the crows bulldogs. Contacted them asking for a credit. They said they checked and I did order childrens tickets. Paid 197.95 which id 3 times the price of adult tickets, no credit and said for me to put on resale. What a lot of crap. I kept the tickets for my sons and when getting to adlaide oval they were fake tickets. What a scam definitely use viagogo

The Bassem Youssef event was cancelled/postponed. We were given no information regarding that. On the day of the event they sent me an email reminding that the event was on and see you there! When I called them to say event is canceled they asked me for proof!!
Am I supposed to tell them or are they supposed to tell me.
Definitely will not use this company again.

I purchased tickets through this company, and then used their platform to list them for sale. The platform was ridiculously complex to use, an endless loop, no response to emails, the chatbot kept getting stuck and the contact form would not recognise my details.

The tickets did not appear on my phone until 8am the day of the event. Then I had to download the app and go through verification. Then it made me sign up for Ticketmaster. Once again I had to downloaded the app, then create passwords, and go through verification codes. I was already on my way to the event. I couldn’t do this while driving so I had to to pull over for 20 minutes. It was highly inconvenient. I also didn’t receive the tickets I originally bought. I received different tickets. I spent almost $1200. The only way I recommend you is if you give me a refund.

Viagogo is one of the worse companies to buy tickets 1 hour before when you are ready to go to the shows they sent you an email saying that the ticket is cancelled and needs to be replaced I hope no one buys in this website is a joke and disgusting, I was ready in the uber when I got the email saying that I can’t go to the Max amini show in Sydney because my ticket was cancelled when I got a confirmation of 10 days in advance

I ordered different tickets to the ones they sent me. Had to pay $15 per ticket in fees. I can't use the ones they allocated as they are for children and for a different area. Their response was it is not their problem as I hit the accept button when I ordered them. I am the goose, but now I know know better!

Dodgiest company - don’t purchase tickets through them.
I purchased tickets for an AFL game - just GA tickets and they cost a fortune, first or all, Viagogo add a ridiculously priced booking fee considering their company doesn’t do ANYTHING to actually book the tickets they take your money for!

They waited 3 hours before the event was due to start and emailed me to tell me the seller was having issues finding tickets and that my tickets couldn’t be provided and an alternative option was available via a link provided. The link was invalid. Their customer support via the app were completely brain dead and unhelpful and wouldn’t do anything to help me organise a refund etc.
I eventually got a refund after multiple emails were sent - apparently this is lucky because most people don’t get their refund and have to go through all the efforts of having their bank refund the money and go after Viagogo themselves.
After all this, my bank had to cancel my cards due to Viagogo being scammers and now I’m inconvenienced by having to wait weeks for new cards and have no method of payment in the meantime.

Absolute jokers - not sure how they’re still legally running as everyone seems to have this issue and apparently it’s been a known scam for many years.
