Been using for years, everything smooth and safe.

Went to purchase ticket for $280.. going through buying process like normal, only to realise that as I cleared the payment, it had an added $99 fee on it.
I requested refund within 10 minutes of making purchase, to which I realised their policy is that all sales are final.
Jokes on me for being naive.
Will not buy from them or recommend them to anyone.
Use tixel instead...

Untrustworthy. Avoid this company, they sell you tickets months out, and then minutes before the event they tell you they don't have your tickets.

Incredibly stressful, everything is through bots to save money and then break the trust of actually providing the service you have paid for.

Clearly for events you need certainty, you cannot trust this company, I am personally £1,500 out of pocket after flights and accommodation and then not been given the tickets I paid for - no compensation has been offered.

Worst company and customer service ever. Avoid like the plague.

Although tickets were extremely expensive, it was a great experience and memorable, historical moment which I will cherish for life!

I bought tickets via Viagogo and then resold them when I decided I didn't want to go. Horrendous process to get the tickets to the buyer. I tried 3x to get help via Viagogo support. First person cut me off and left the chat. 2nd person gave up and closed the chat. 3rd person did try to help but then I managed to figure out a way to share tickets via Google wallet. All happening 1hour 30mins prior to the ahow. Will never ever use Viagogo ever again.

I would give minus stars if I could. I searched for Lion King musical tickets and Viagogo appeared at the top, looking like an authorised seller. Only after payment did I realise I had been charged over $270 in “handling fees” for 4 tickets. No clear seat allocation was provided, and the tickets were not delivered instantly like every legitimate ticketing platform I have used before.

Customer service simply repeated scripted responses and admitted they are waiting for the seller to transfer the tickets, meaning they may not even have the tickets yet. Despite this, they refused cancellation.

The entire experience feels deliberately misleading and designed to pressure customers into overpaying before they fully understand what they are buying. I genuinely do not understand how this business model is still allowed to operate in Australia.

They overcharged me and then I tried selling the tickets via Viagogo. They didn't sell and then they charged me extra after the event was over! Scamming dogs!!

Paid inflated prices, waited 24+ hours, and still no access to tickets. The link doesn’t work. Customer service is useless. Avoid this platform.

Ticket prices jump drastically on the last page of checkout and didn’t realise. Over paid significantly. Bought 4 tickets at once and they only let you sell them all together. And they don’t give you the tickets in any form to sell elsewhere either. Such a shameful website anyone who works there should be embarrassed. Also if I try to sell the tickets on viagogo they keep telling me they’re priced to high and I have to reduce the price just so they will be shown to potential buyers. I reduce the price to their recommended price and immediately it flags it and says I need to reduce again. Appalling service would not recommend.

Downloading the tickets was the first issue if you have device that won't accept adobe or pdfs. Then due to work I needed to either transfer or sell the tickets. The Viagogo website makes this as difficult as possible. Then when I had found a buyer the setting up of the "default" payment became impossible. To this day I am still waiting on the money because everytime I log into my account it comes up with "error" and to contact "customer service" who are not responding to messages now. Fraudulent is the word that comes to mind and will never use again.

Do not under any circumstances use Viagogo. I went to buy tickets to Jeff Goldblum in Perth. I’ve just moved here so didn’t know this was not a legit site. I paid $600 for 2 tickets only to be locked out of the website the day of the event. I’ve tried all day to contact them and it’s either an American number or the link to contact them says that the link isn’t there anymore. I finally got through to someone via the AI bot after hours of trying and giving up and they’re saying because I didn’t contact them prior to the show (which I spent all afternoon trying to do) they can’t refund me. Absolute scam artists!!!

Worst customer experience to date - hidden fees, the worst customer service - can’t even begin to start to explain how terrible the whole experience was. This website should be taken down. It’s a scam. I didn’t realise the tickets I bought were a resale and the seller didn’t even have the tickets to sell me ??!! Received some sort of tickets but they look so dodgey and has someone else’s name on them (not the seller even)?! Looks like a screenshot - I ended up re-buying the tickets from a Legit site (Ticketek). The stress this has caused - I feel so bad for anyone else going through the experience with these cowboys.

Just 4 hours before the match I bought the ticket for a Real Madrid home La Liga match on Viagogo. All went smooth. Got the emails. Got the ticket. Downloaded it. Great match. Great experience.

Avoid this site at all costs. Very dishonest and the system is extremely flawed. After being over charged for tickets they then removed several more hundred dollars from my credit card a couple of weeks later.

Viagogo is an extremely easy site to buy tickets on and I had an amazing experience at the AFL at the MCG. Went through all good and for a good price! I bought the instant download tickets and it was smooth sailing.

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this ticket website. The initial ticket prices already seemed higher than expected, but what really bothered me was the lack of transparency during checkout. Additional fees were suddenly added without any clear explanation, and unfortunately I didn’t notice them in time before completing the purchase.

Right after realizing this, I contacted customer support to cancel the order. To my surprise, I was told that cancellations are not allowed under any circumstances. The only option offered was to resell the tickets through their platform, with the condition that I would only receive payment after the event has taken place. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged immediately for the full amount.

To make matters worse, the tickets are not even delivered right away—they are supposed to arrive only a few days before the event, which leaves me with no real guarantee that I will receive them in time, or at all.

Overall, this experience feels very unfair and misleading. Between the hidden fees, lack of cancellation options, delayed delivery, and one-sided financial risk, the whole process comes across as highly untrustworthy. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when using this service.
