Have used this company twice now and have saved money on cruise ship excursion prices. Rather than be with a lot of people in a coach, on both occasions we've had a private minibus, driver and guide. We've had fabulous experiences both times where the driver has gone above and beyond to show us as much as possible. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Excellent tours and excellent value for money especially when compared to the cruise ships prices. The meeting and greeting at some places can be a little hap hazard because so many other people are looking for their tours too, but nothing worrying, Venture are well marked out at your meeting point. We used them on a number of tours. Their Pompaii tour was really excellent and their guide was really knowledgeable absolutely fantastic.

Nahide was a great guide. She met us as arranged and was able to show us all the sites which we had hoped to see while keeping ahead of the tour buses. She also managed to get us into the Ephesus experience which was a great bonus.

Great company to deal with will definitely use again !

We did two Venture Ashore excursions during our recent cruise. They were very well organised, both of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the air conditioned mini- buses were so welcome in the high temperatures.
Would definitely use again.

Tour locations were interesting and staff very professional and friendly.

I booked this tour through a cruise app. In the details about the excursion it listed max group size would be 7 people. We were expecting to be in a van with a few other people off the ship. When we checked in we were told to get on a bus with 40+ other people. When I said we were supposed to be in a smaller group we were told that was the only transportation for our tour.
The tour was mostly ok. We didn't get to visit all the locations that were listed. I do not think it was worth what I paid since we didn't get to see everything and we were not with a small group as advertised.
The tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and answered questions from everyone.

Whale watching was a great trip and experience. Could not fault it. Expensive but it delivered.
Part of the trip was to a glacier. Due to our ship departing before others those on our ship were supposed to leave the glacier earlier. When I asked the driver taking us he knew nothing about leaving earlier than others. We forego the glacier trip as the timing was too tight to risk missing the ship. A negative that should be addressed but still 5 stars for the whale watching.

Alex was our guide for this trip and he was fantastic! In an unfamiliar place, Alex was very transparent and helpful in any question or circumstance we had. One of the ATVs my little brother was on had issues and Alex swapped it out easy mid-trail and kept the trip moving. This man Alex deserves a raise!

When we turned up for the trip, we were informed by your Amigo Tours representative at 9.30am on 10th July, that our tour had been cancelled.
You can imagine our total frustration as we had not been informed in advance by them or yourselves.
We have still not received the refund.

Excellent communication from both the company and our driver/guide. Car was air conditioned and a welcome break from the heat. The driver was courteous, very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what we were looking at, where we were and even some tips to avoid the queues. All in all I would happily use this company again.

Extremely helpful when I needed to make an amendment

A lovely tour guide very professional and knowledgeable lovely thoughtful and caring.. Guna was our tour guide in Golden Circle tour, she was the best of all our tours of our cruise. Highly recommend 👌

We took two trips with Ventures the first to Ephesus where the guide was very good and knowledgeable. However at the house of Mary we had to queue for 90 mins. He didn't give us any idea of how long it would be so returned to the ship and hour later than expected.
Our second trip was to Sorrento and Pompeii. Sorrento was very rushed we had around 30 mins to find some lunch. Pompeii was great but again not long enough. Excellent guide in Pompeii.
The negative was although the bus driver was very good the minibus was really old and tatty, with almost 366k on the clock. This included seats that needed cleaning and internal door panels that needed replacing.

Our trip to The Giant’s Causeway was spectacular!
My husband and I had been there before, but this time we had a guide and a bus driver. The guide was ridiculously knowledgeable about everything and stopped in extra places and gave us so much information, that this trip was far better when we did it ourselves.
He could answer any question that was asked, he was funny, he was engaging, he was aware of every person on his tour that did or may have needed assistance, walking, or anything else. There was plenty of opportunity to stop for drinks or snacks and not once did we ever feel rushed.
The bus driver was also knowledgeable, but his bus driving skills were far and beyond.
We felt safe the entire time. We did not feel rushed. And they got us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare, even though we did so many extra things that day.
I would definitely choose venture sure again overdoing an excursion the cruise ship. They were professional and not once did we worry that we would get back to the ship on time.

We went on a coach trip to Birkstal Glacier Olden Norway. The ship was delayed docking. I sent an we mail to let Venture know we would be late. They were very helpful and a V nature representative was waiting for us when we got off of the ship. It was very busy but the representative made sure we all got onto the correct bus. The Journey was very comfortable and the bus was warm. We had ample time to walk to the Glacier and sit and have sandwiches there. The coach waited for us in the same place he dropped us off. We got dropped off in Olden on the way back to the ship so we could look around and walked back to the ship in our own time. Venture are a very good tour operator, we have used them before and have never yet been disappointed. Prices are cheaper than the ship tours but the experience is just as good.

We enjoyed a marvellous excursion “Istanbul Delight” provided by Venture Ashore three years ago, so decided to use them again for a visit to Ephesus from Kuşadası and were not disappointed. Our excellent guide was waiting for us at the advised meeting point and spent most of the day with our small group. We were driven in an air conditioned comfortable vehicle to the House of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis. Our guide was fantastic - perfect English, full of historical knowledge and extremely charming.
