This is the second time I've used VanOne to move, and they have done a brilliant job throughout. Every issue was sorted fast and efficiently, and their logistics department were helpful from beginning to end (well done Luis and Lennart!). A special highlight of this time was the driver Nayden Atanasov, without whom I would have had serious back problems by now. He was very thorough in securing my boxes in the truck, and worked tirelessly when helping me carry them to my new flat. He made everything much easier and less stressful than it could have been. He is clearly someone who cares a lot about his work and does it very professionally.
I am giving two stars because the price was more competitive than other companies offer, but it came at a cost. The company enforces strict weight limits on the size of the move you book, and in my opinion this is a complete rip off. We booked a 10m³ move, but thanks to the weight limit (600 kg) we had to throw half our belongings away and in order to not exceed the 600kg we ended up with less than 5m³ worth of belongings. And we didn't even move any of our furniture! They let us know a few days prior to the move that our belongings would be collected on the second day of the three collection window they gave us, which is fine as such, except that they expected us to be ready to receive our goods at the destination the very next day, and as this was day 3 of the collection window they had given us of course we had booked our flights the day after and weren't at our destination yet to receive our belongings. Luckily we had family who helped us out, but they were completely unflexible with their delivery date even after explaining to them that we purposefully booked our flights on the first day after the collection window as we needed to be ready to collect on any of those 3 days. If not for our families, our belongings would have arrived without anyone there to accept them. The driver who came to collect our belongings also did not speak a word of English and we had to communicate with him using a translator app. He was very nice and polite however.
This score would have been a 5 star review except for the short notice given for collection. We were allocated a driver and advised of collection 2 hours before, luckily our family stepped in to ensure collection as we were on route to new house in Spain. Other than that though, the team at VanOne were very responsive and helpful whenever we contacted them. The paperwork to get our "stuff" through customs was very easy to fill out. Having got numerous quotes we are sure VanOne are the cheapest way to move to Spain. Thanks guys!

For the price I was expecting a no-frills service however it was beyond awful. The trip was to deliver belongings from my parents' house to my house in Italy.
I paid for a full van (even though I had less stuff) in order to have a guaranteed collection date when I could be there to help, and avoid stressing my elderly parents. The driver arrived one day BEFORE the agreed date and entered my parents back garden directly, without permission, in a van that barely passed the gateposts. My parents panicked. I was not yet in the country but I phoned my husband and he left work to help. In the meantime I tried phoning the helpline and couldn't get through. My parents were doing the same and eventually managed to get through. The feedback was to ignore the driver and let him "sleep in the garden!!!"
My husband arrived and tried to communicate with the driver to come back the next day, as the packing wasn't finished, but he didn't speak English. He was also wearing slippers, which was an interesting choice for such a long drive.
Eventually my husband decided it was easier to try to get rid of him by letting him load the van. Cue rushed packing, my elderly father helping lift boxes etc.
The van then tried to leave through the narrow gates and misjudged the manoeuvre. The driver knocked down one wall, then reversed back into the gatepost, then wedged the van between the gates. It took three people and a crowbar to free the van. Rebuilding the wall, rebuilding the gate post and replacing wrought-iron gates equated to thousands of pounds in damages.
I sent photo and video evidence to VanOne asking for an investigation and compensation. After initially getting a response from the Operations Manager Sufia Andreas, who promised to "look into it" she has been ignoring me for the last 4 months, despite multiple follow-ups, so I have raised the case with Consumer protection and filed a police report for damage to property.
The cherry on the cake was the supposed GPS tracking. My driver had left his GPS attached to a car in Romania, so I was only able to track its trips to the supermarket and back.
The goods arrived 5 days later with the driver still wearing slippers. After unloading, the van didn't start so he freewheeled it down a hill.
In summary. Dangerous driving / working conditions for drivers, who are subcontracted from Eastern Europe. No respect for property. No respect for contractual obligations. Customer service seems to be to ignore problems and hope they go away.
Just taken delivery of our order. Absolutely impeccable value for money. Really smooth process. Driver was 15mins late on pick up but got a courtesy call from Van One to indicate the delay which was most appreciated given I was on a timescale to get out of the UK on a flight after loading finished.
Driver was really friendly and helpful despite not speaking any English.
Only one small gripe. It says the driver was equipped too take card payment for his time. This wasn't the case so I paid him cash instead. I later received an email asking for payment to VanOne for the driver's time so I essentially paid for this service twice. This could have been made clearer at point of sale.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Van One to anyone, as long as the person doesn't mind the loading and unloading themselves and they can be patient with a driver who might not have much English vocab. When I bench marked the cost of Van One with about 6 other quotes it was hands down the cheapest by far.
Recently moved from Poole to Italy and everything leading up to moving day was perfect. Danielle answered all my questions and even uploaded all my documents. However, moving day was another story and that why the three-star rating. The driver came on time but brought 17 M3 van which was about 25% full of his own things. There was definitely not enough room for our things. In addition, the driver did not speak English and we tried to communicate with his boss, who was not helpful either. He said that his bigger van was broken. After trying to see what we could do, the driver left. I would not recommend this driver or company to anyone! In a panic, because we were leaving for Italy in the afternoon, we got in touch with Leona, and thankfully, she was able to arrange for another van to come from London. Instead of beginning to load at 9 am, we began at 1:30. Fortunately this driver was excellent and had the experience we needed. We loaded in 1.5 hours and, two days later, we received our goods in great condition. The driver was excellent at both ends.
Booked Vanone just after covid pandemic and brexit. Was unable to complete booking due to certain circumstances. My stuff was at my daughters place as we had already moved to France. We couldn’t move everything due to bad experience with another removal who refused to take some of the stuff. As a result we had to abide with the new brexit rules. This required that my stuff had to be weighed, sized etc. My daughter found it very difficult to do this as she had hubby and four children to look after. Hence we had no choice but to proceed with the move until our daughter could do what was required. We informed Vanone who subsequently told us that we would lose our deposit if we didn’t complete the requirements by a certain time. They told us to guess the weight which is what I did. I didn’t have a clue and I over estimated. Vanone told me that the weight was over the limit for what we booked for. So I was asked to pay a lot more on deposit and overall total cost.
When the man picked up the stuff he said the weight was way under my estimate.
Communication between the company was terrible. They advertised that you were able to track the van which never worked. The ad shows a van with the Vanone logo which was untrue. The van was owned by the Bulgarian driver. Bye the was was very nice.
I sent an email to Vanone stating what had happened and that the contents and weight were well below what was estimated. In fact the contents only filled less than 1/4 of the van. Apparently, that was the only delivery in that van.
The delivery man told us that he was picking something up in Spain. So it’s not as if we the company were paying for return journey.
Please please think twice about using this company. Very very poor service.
We booked the whole van (15m3) to bring stuff from Germany to England. Our preferred day was available although it was only two weeks notice. The whole process went smoothly and VanOne managed to accommodate our wished pick up time. The correspondence with customer support and the logistics team before the move was great. The driver came exactly on time and was very helpful with the loading and later the unloading as well. The charge for the help is fair and your choice. Overall a great experience that I can only recommend!

I have moved quite a bit in my life, and never could understand the claim that moving is the most stressful event in life. However, now I know! Moving during a pandemic AND Brexit has been the most stressful event ever. Vanone and the driver have been very helpful with this process!
The driver arrived and decided that what we wanted to load was too much for the truck so it left half full, with more than 300kg less than what they should have carried. Asked for a partial refund and they did not provide it. They do not fulfill their promises
I am so happy I picked Vanone for my move. I never leave reviews but I felt I had to this time: the entire experience was painless and as easy as can be in this new brexit-redtape/covid world. Lots of help with the paperwork, responsive, on time, lovely helpful driver... my move from the UK to France could not have gone better. I'm so pleased I chose Vanone instead of the more specialised firms that quoted me ridiculous prices with huge lorries and vague arrival dates that sometimes was counted in weeks. My move with Vanone was done on the same day. If you do your side of the bargain properly (deliver the paperwork on time in the portal and prepare your boxes), they will do their side very well indeed!
I would recommend Vanone as the price is unbeatable. It was a bit of a challenge to get clarity / confirmation on when my items were actually getting picked up, so if you can be felixable, then this service will suit you well. My stuff arrived from Italy in Scotland very promptly. The guys were great who helped me unpack. Also, the tracking feature was pretty useful too.
Dreadful service and appalling communication. When things go wrong, they are of no help and will resort to threatening behaviour. You'll have your family belongings at their mercy. Don't trust Google reviews, they get the bad ones removed.
If I could I would have given them zero stars. Driver was late. Although we asked for assitance with the offloading and agreed to pay, I still had to do most of the heavy lifting myself and then it turns out some of our furniture has been damaged during the drive.
Incredible value for money. My things arrived within 2 days all the way from Germany to the UK.
The services were far cheaper than any other competitors! You can't go wrong.
