I just came home from this facility after my fourth major total joint replacement.
My 2 star review is a stretch.
The surgery, surgeon and staff were all 5 star.
The reception, pre & post op staff were terrible. Worsened by the food my dogs would'nt eat.
Q: Why do they ask you to arrive at 530 hrs to sit along with another dozen or so anxious adults only to sit on your butt until 620 when you are marched in a line to the OR?
Q: Why does the OR pre op nurse think its funny as hell when she repeatedly hurts you while stabbing for a vein all the while giggling like Kamala Harris on prom night??
Q: When all you want is a few hours sleep do they put you in a bed that would not be suitable for a jail in Mexico?
Q: Why do the nurses wale you on a 45 minute routine preventing much needed sleep rather than all coming together at once??
Q: When at 300 AM and the nurse asks your pain level 1-10 and you answer 8 she suggests hydracodone but then changes Her mind and gives you two ALEVE ??
Q: Why are you told they would check you out fist thing in the morning and it becomes 1145
"Oh we are kind of short handed" tee hee.
I will NOT go back. Period.

I went to my annual physical. I’ve been going to Valley Hospital and Clinics in New Jersey for 30 years! Great experience until this last visit. Physician’s assistant Melissa Amsellem did the physical. Ms Amsellem’s attitude was unprofessional. I asked questions and she answered with an attitude. Since this is my annual physical, the doctor (which I did not have this visit) would inform me of my health status. I asked questions and Ms Amsellum would say, are you still asking questions! I reported Melissa Amsellum to the manager, Sarah Stofan. Ms Stofan was very nice. Nothing changed! I now go to Englewood Hospital in NJ. I'm much happier with my new doctor and hospital. Do Not go to Valley Hospital. Use Englewood Hospital. Englewood Hospital have all professionals!
