Very Disappointing Experience
I would not recommend United Carpets and Beds Lincoln branch
I was quoted and charged for a Quality, higher priced flooring product, but a different lower-priced click flooring was installed without my knowledge or approval. Fortunately, I identified the difference by checking the product details.
I have raised this issue with the branch but have not received a satisfactory response. Based on my experience, I would advise customers to carefully check that the product installed matches the product they were quoted and invoiced for before making any final payment.

If you’re ever in the mood to donate…
If you’re ever in the mood to donate your hard‑earned money for absolutely no reason, look no further than this delightful establishment. They proudly advertise “free fitting”, which is adorable, because the moment you actually buy something, they magically discover a dozen reasons to charge you anyway. Truly groundbreaking business innovation.
Their fitters — sorry, over‑priced fitters — will also helpfully convince you to buy far more material than any human floor could ever require. Only after everything is laid will you realise the mountain of waste you paid for. A modern tragedy.
And once they’ve taken your payment, prepare to become completely invisible. Customer service? Follow‑up? Attention? Not in their vocabulary. But don’t worry — they’ll happily point you to the ten‑thousand‑word policy novel printed in microscopic letters on the back of the bill. Apparently that’s their favourite book, because they quote it religiously whenever you raise a complaint.
Oh, and feedback? Don’t bother. They don’t deserve a positive review, a negative review, or even the time it takes to type one. But here I am anyway.
Ohhh sorry to mention they sell decent products anyway.

Great prices
Great prices. Very helpful staff. Got a date for fitting the carpet on the day we wanted. Got a phone call the day before with a time the fitter would be with us. Very pleased with the workmanship of the fitter excellent job. Would definitely use again and recommend them.

We went into our local store
We went into our local store, and was greeted by two lovely lads when we walked in. They asked what we were looking for, so we told them. Did we need any help? I said I’d ask when we were ready. We found what we wanted, got the help, and the sale was put through. Bit of a mix up on getting it laid, date mess up. BUT we are very happy with the two lads that came and laid the carpet, they did a cracking job. Thank you 😊 The date is a guess as I can’t remember

Started off well #
Started off well. We Choose a lovely expensive carpet and underlay which had to be ordered. Took a lot longer to come than expected. They said they would ring when in , they didn’t- no phone call!!! We Asked and agreed for a Saturday fitting. Said they would ring the Friday before fitting on the Saturday no phone call - again 😤 Carpet fitter rang 8.30am on the Saturday to say he was coming 11.30> OMG. With help from friends we cleared the furniture in the lounge. Lovely lad came and fitted the carpet.!!! Got the furniture back in well pleased.!!!!! To come down the next morning to the carpet looking like the Irish Sea. We Got hold of the fitter who couldn’t come back but he did ring the boss Bradley who came promptly. Apparently the carpet had relaxed!! Any way he trimmed and re stretched. Then had to put the furniture back . Very stressful and unnecessary work on my partners and friends days off. But sorted in the end.

Firstly, I’m really sorry about the lack of communication regarding the delivery and fitting date. I’m pleased to hear you were happy with the fitter and the finished look of the carpet initially. However, I’m very sorry for the stress caused the following morning when the carpet relaxed and needed re-stretching. Having to move your furniture twice is far from ideal and certainly not the experience we want for our customers.
I’m glad Bradley was able to attend promptly and get everything sorted, but we do recognise the disruption it caused to you and your partner.
Thank you again for your patience, and for acknowledging that it was resolved in the end. We truly value your custom and your feedback — it helps us improve both our communication and service going forward.

Initially the experience was good but…
Initially the experience was good but then we were let down several times by the manager not turning up when he said he would. We also found him very rude and not custom orientated
The actual carpet fitter was great, really informative and saved the day

All went well
Everything went more or less as it should have done...the fitters arrive st 11am as we arranged.
The stairs carpet was done 1st and considering we were told it would take roughly 4 hours total...the stairs took ages and the fitters stated that the stairs and dining room should have been two separate jobs...but hey ho..at 7pm they were done and the lads did a brilliant job and it looks great...and for the price I was well happy

Great selection of beds online with good descriptions of their construction and what the technical spec is . Lincoln is our nearest store but the bed came direct from the warehouse and we were advised well in advance of delivery slot. The 2 man delivery team were excellent and assembled our bed and set it up where we wanted it . Prices very competitive on our bed including headboard , we will use United again
