Matthew Kent, went through and explained the knee injection procedure I wanted thoroughly and with care. He checked things out with me before giving me the injections. Matthew’s advice regarding knee pain experienced on day 3 was reassuring. He sent me an exercise programme to follow, which I requested which hopefully will help following the knee injections. Pricing for the injections was cheaper than elsewhere. I would use use this service again if need be.

Had an ultrasound guided injection in to the lining of the tendon on the elbow. Wanted the most professional service as it’s a very sensitive area needing precise treatment. Had same procedure given by Dave Baker many years ago and it worked very well - he is the most experienced professional in this field that I know of. Comprehensive series of physio exercises also given. It was expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Every part of the procedure explained and no guarantees made for the ultimate outcome, although there has been a substantial improvement.

Very easy to make the booking and I was able to get an injection booking quickly - a great relief as the waiting list for the NHS is currently 12-14 weeks.

The injection was done at the Surbiton centre and it was an extremely clean, peaceful environment.

Mr Francesco Contiero was lovely. He explained everything to me clearly and then did the ultrasound to confirm the injury that I had described. He was careful not to move the arm more than was necessary as it was extremely painful. He then explained the steroid that he would be using and the location for the injection before cleaning all of the surfaces, the equipment and his hands and then using the ultrasound to guide the location of the injection, which was administered along with an anaesthetic.

The whole process, including a few minutes of recovery afterwards, took 40 minutes and was mostly painless. The steroid started to kick in a few days later and it has been much more comfortable and I am able to do my physio exercises to help recovery, much more easily.

Everything went okay. Hope it works this time on my knee! Last four injections on my lower back facet joints did nothing!

Franco the physio I saw explained in very understandable terms what the issue was with my shoulder and set out clearly what my treatment options were. I decided a steroid injection to be the best course of action based on my medical history and this was administered very professionally without the extreme discomfort I had experienced previously from other establishments. I have full confidence that under his guidance my current physical condition will improve in time.

Luke quickly forms a relaxed and friendly relationship, explains exactly what is wrong, helps you understand the ultrasound scan, and (in my case at least) gets the injection directly on target. One week on, a lot less pain and the chance to do some physio.
