I wish I had seen the reviews before I went through with the purchase on this site. Owner is a scammer, broken promises and emails that dont get replied to.

I purchased bonamichi Racing chain adjusters on 25/02/26, its now 18/03/26. They were in stock, according to the site. Owners, Grant, stated that he received a shipment but that they were damaged and therefore he returned them and was awaiting a shipment thay should have been there by the end of the week. That week was 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing since.

Ive paused my payments with Klarna and asking them to go through with a refund. I have receipts, screenshot of discussions and images showing that they site says "in stock" as well as a quote of him saying his shipment was due 2 weeks ago.

Not happy, kinda messed me over as I needed these for my bike so I could put it together fully of which ive now had to build it back together just to strip it again when my delivery from an actual company arrives.

Cant believe its been allowed to go on this long. Looking to report to trading standards as this just that poor. Will edit this if anything good comes out of it.

Edit, the provider i used to purchase said item have refunded me. This guy is a joke, he is a complete scammer and judging from previous his previous replies he is trying to shift blame. Absolute scum.

Just purchased a RaceFit Growler with Baffler from Road and Race.
I dealt with Grant, who was fantastic from start to finish.
The price was competitive compared to others, and the service was spot on, despite believing there was a 4 week lead time I had the new exhaust within a week.

Everything arrived in the box and the exhaust is on, sounds excellent and im enjoying it. (Just needs to stop raining!)

I would highly recommend.

I contacted UK Road and Race with a perfectly reasonable inquiry about a product they offer — the BMW S1000RR race bodywork with tank. Since I was planning to ship the item internationally, I asked whether the product was in stock and if it would be packed in one box or several. These are standard, logical questions for any serious buyer.

To my shock, the reply I received was dismissive and rude: I was told my questions were “odd” and that they were “not interested in selling.” No effort was made to answer even a single part of my inquiry.

This is by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had with a UK-based motorsport parts seller. If a business can't handle basic customer questions, they have no place in online retail.

Avoid this company if you expect any level of professionalism or support.

This company is a complete disgrace. I placed an order which was never fulfilled. After waiting far beyond the promised timeframe, the owner fraudulently marked the order as dispatched and even provided a fake tracking number. The courier confirmed the package was never handed over. When I tried to make contact, I was completely ignored. No responses to emails, no phone calls answered — the owner, Grant Newman, even blocked my number.

Eventually, I contacted the actual product manufacturer, who confirmed that my order had never even been placed with them. They later told me it was cancelled altogether, yet UK Road and Race still refused to issue a refund and kept the money. This is outright theft.

Every other negative review about this company is 100% accurate. I should have listened — but like many others, I gave them a chance and got burned. Now I'm having to pursue legal action and have already reported them to Trading Standards and other consumer bodies.

This is not a legitimate business — it’s a fraud operation hiding behind a flashy website. Grant Newman is actively scamming customers and Clearpay seems to be enabling it by refusing to step in.

Avoid UK Road and Race like the plague. If you've been scammed, report them immediately to Trading Standards and Action Fraud.

Edit: Very convenient of you not to mention anything AT ALL about what has happened with my order (whether you've processed a refund or not). You have failed to issue a refund and taken my money, blocked my number and all possible means of communication. You did not explain why you kept ignoring my emails and the fact that you falsely marked the order as dispatched when it hadn't even been built! Immature, fraudulent business owner. I will be settling this in a Small Claims Court as you refuse to issue a refund. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. You never bothered to communicate with your customer and you even outright ignored me. Talk about a customer base, I think you're very far from having one or you're not aware of the definition in and of itself. Immature, low-life scammer. You will be facing legal consequences in due time, just you wait. You deserve all the negative reviews you have both on your Trustpilot and Google page as you're an absolutely abysmal "business owner" if you could even be called that. Utterly disgraceful behaviour from a grown person, luckily Racefit were kind enough to provide me with all the information I need about what you have and haven't done, all in writing. Stark difference between a real business like Racefit and a petty thief like yourself.

Sent wrong product, they are not responding after purchase.

Ordered a Racefit Growler baffle last year. After 3 months they finally send it. Then it got lost during transport. No service from UkRoad and race after that. Not even wanted to make a report at Royal Mail for investigation so the package could be traced or a refund could be obtained. Sender can only report this. For them it’s received and that’s it. Don’t expect any service or coulance. The reply below will tell enough what costumer care is at ukroadandrace.

Paid £80 for two air filters and that was the last I heard from them. Emailed them after a week and no reply. Had to get PayPal involved for a refund. Never again.
Very strange for an out of stock item to be given an order number, be told it would be dispatched. Why not just be honest?

How do you get an order ready if it is out of stock and why not just refund me instead of ignoring my email?

We developed the website for this vendor. The contract was signed and the scope of the work was clearly mentioned and explained.

Adding the products were not mentioned on the contract but the client asked us to do that. We tried to help even with that but never received complete information regarding store designing. All he did is replied with 1-2 minor changes and incomplete information. We tried to schedule the call several times but he said he is busy.

When we completed the changes, he asked me to completely redesign the website with a different layout. We became ready and, tried to understand the requirement again but he removed our access and claimed a refund. Since we have a signed contract and all the communication is over the email, I shared all the information to the bank and hopefully, we will win the dispute.

It was a nightmare working with this client as we didn’t know what he exactly wants. I requested to add the products to the website which he never did. I shared the instructions several times but he didn’t follow that instruction. I tried to hop on a quick call but he said he is busy.

I saw his reviews and can see others were completely disappointed too. I wish I saw the reviews before onboarding this client.

I would recommend not working with this vendor as he will not provide complete information and will claim a refund when the work is done.

I ordered a SpeedoHealer online, then changed my mind when I returned to the UK 2 days later.... The parts were delayed anyway and more than a week away.

I contacted UK Road and Race via telephone and email but heard nothing back. I think they're a father & son team and when you look on Google maps it looks like a terraced house.

When I spoke to the kid he was quite nonchalant about refunding my £250; I have a string of emails from him telling me that he didn't have the money and that I'd have to wait for some internet sales etc to the point that I had to let him know that if he didn't have the money in his account then we'd happily collect it in cash.

He authorised the refund through Paypal which took 10 days to hit my account, so in reality it took a minute to pay and 2 weeks to get our money back.

I wouldn't use them again.

I bought a set of TRW Rearsets for my Ducati from this company.

Firstly they were almost a month being delivered, with repeated emails going unanswered. I had to call them as I thought I had been conned. I finally get a response saying parts had arrived damaged from the distributor and they were waiting for a replacement set, even though the site said they had them in stock.

When the rearsets finally showed up the box was clearly second hand, being quite beaten up, there was no list of parts and it is only now I realise there are parts missing from the kit. I now don't have a rear brake light as the connecting part wasn't in the box as described in the instructions. I wasn't concerned as this is to be a trackbike anyway.

I had no time to send them back with a four day Spanish trackday event now only days away, which with flights, track time, hotel and hire car I was upwards of £1,000 in deep.

The rearsets were fitted by a Ducati workshop, as advised.

They fell apart on track, on the end of the 160mph straight at Almeria, a terrifying experience in the least. The foot peg and gear toe peg both fell off the left hand rearset. First the foot peg, which I recovered. Next day the toe peg on the gear lever, which was lost.

Back in the UK and UK Road and Race have refused and help, at first saying it was a problem between me and the manufacturer. Then suggesting I should have disassembled the entire rearset, and reassembled them using Loctite (manufacturer says if you do pull them apart, reassemble using Loctite). These things are sold as complete units, and the instructions say check all fixing, which was done, but it turns out they were not assembled with Loctite, which I could only know if the entire unit was disassembled.

Avoid this company. There responses are unhelpful and arrogant. I also did a Graydon financial check on this company with scores a very bad F4C, "Above Normal Risk" so be careful how much cash your send them.
