My installation was accommodating and everything was explained to me clearly and in a way that was easy to understand.

We had solar panels and a heat pump installed and were very impressed with the service from the initial estimates to the completion. The company kept us fully informed on everything even arranging the installation to fit in with our busy schedule. All of the workers who came to our house were very professional and polite. They offered suggestions along the way and were very particular in minimising the disruption during the installation and left the place extremely clean.
I would highly recommend them to anyone considering installing solar panels or a heat pump.

Once again UK Alternative Energy didn't disappoint. Ordered a extension battery for the Powerwall 3 which was fitted within 2 weeks of receiving the quote. Once again staff who fitted it were punctual, helpful and tidy. I am sure any questions we may have in the future will be answered to our satisfaction by Steve. Only complaint since fitted, the sun hasn't made a full appearance to see it's full potential.

I was impressed with a presentation given by their M.D to our local engineering society on the benefits of heat pumps, Solar PV and battery storage. I subsequently contacted the company, obtained several quotes for battery storage and settled on the Tesla Powerwall 3. Installation was straightforward and completed within 3-4 hrs. I had one or two queries on the interpretation of the displayed performance on my mobile phone, but these were quickly put to bed after I was invited back to their showroom where the actual performance of my system was explained via a wide screen display in ‘real time’.
A first class organisation that I can thoroughly recommend.

Excellent workman ship. The boys / men who fitted it were very professional helpful and friendly. The whole job was finished in 1 day ( day before scaffolding put in by another company) would 100% recommend to anyone looking to have solar or heat pump fitted . From our point of view , so far on the Tesla App we’re almost self sufficient!

Recently installed solar panels and battery. Seamless service from surveyor, scaffolding to installation. Excellent service throughout. No hesitation to recommend.

System up and running within 4 weeks from initial quote. Direct contact with Scaffolders who arrived as arranged, worked efficiently, very friendly and polite. Solar panels installed next day, again efficient, polite and friendly. Scaffolding removed. In all 4 days to install, no fuss no mess. Office staff take care of all paperwork. Our only responsibility was registering with energy company for SEG. Which was remarkably easy having been supplied with all documents from UK Alternative Energy.

Everything completed on time as per the agreed schedule. Prrofessional and knowledgeable

Firstly they did NOT send a salesperson to discuss the installation , first contact was a full assessment of my property and its needs . The quote included 3 choices of heat pump and I received no follow up calls or emails which allowed me to make my decision in my own time ( no pressure ) . An installation date was easily agreed upon which suited both parties . The installation itself took a little longer than I had expected but the installation team was excellent , they did a neat , clean and tidy job and fully respected both myself , my needs and my property at all times . Follow up post installation visit provided me with opportunity to ask any questions which left me with full confidence about my heat pump system operated . Right from first contact, UK Alternative Energy provided good guidance and provided information to relay to our insurers, who accepted their quotation for renewal of our air source heat pump destroyed by Storm Babet in October 2024. We cannot fault their work ethics and installation was performed as per schedule with good results.

Every was totally professional polite and patient explaining everything to us regarding the installation and how to manage it. Nothing was too much trouble for them and it was a delight to see them all take pride in their work which was unbelievably neat and tidy. A true pleasure to do business with and a pleasure to have them in our new home

We recently had underfloor heating (retrofit) and a heat pump installed by UK Alternative Energy Ltd.

Although the journey had its challenges and we were unaware and unprepared for the extent of disruption, the end result was absolutely worth it.

The team demonstrated solid expertise, and the equipment provided appears to be of excellent quality. Pricing was transparent, and the system has been running efficiently since installation.

That said, there were some delays along the way, and communication could have been improved—we found ourselves having to follow up on updates a few times.

Now that the system is fully operational, it has performed really well so far - even in -4°C temperatures. Our home is consistently warm, the heat pump is energy-efficient, and the underfloor heating provides even warmth across all rooms.

Knowing what we know now, would we make the same decision? Absolutely, without hesitation.
Despite the minor setbacks, we’re very pleased with the outcome and would confidently recommend UK Alternative Energy Ltd.

I have been delighted with the way UK Alternative Energy have dealt with the fault that occurred to my old Inverter. Right from my initial reporting of the the suspected fault, to the prompt arrival of an Engineer to check it, and then to the installation of a new Inverter, I have received nothing but courteous and friendly service. It was all dealt with very quickly and with no trouble at all to me. Very happy.
