After spending so much money to fix my car I ended buying a whole engine from Charles trent, and after putting the engine on, they have defective injectors ( if you try to fix end it s doesn't work you lose warranty because you should not change anything in the engine) they suppose to be tested but how it s come they test them and the are defective and then after good luck with return all lose you lose even more money
Note that the Injectors and so many other things are not covered by the warrenty. So if they are defective you lose automatically
from my experience people should avoid and look for a company that offer real warranty not a scam warranty
a warranty that doesn't cover anything
And you can't expect any help they will ask you to returne the engine so after you pay huge amount of money to put them in good luck with money taking them again off and send them them back no labour nothing is coveres it s like scratch card if the engine is good you lucky if the engine are bad you are screwed
Can you please tell us in case there is a probleme with injectors what is the solution?
If I do try to fixe the injectors myself what gone happen to the warranty according to your term.and conditions?

Today I changed one tire and adjusted the traction. They messed up the steering wheel, it wasn't straight, the car was turning left, I complained, they accused me of being oversensitive, that I was wrong, ok, I asked them to set the steering wheel straight when adjusting the alignment, and then they adjusted it out of laziness, they tried to tell me that I was wrong. but the car went 50 meters to the left into a ditch, so I took a taxi and was carrying up to 4 people with children, so I didn't give up, I asked him to set it up correctly. Out of sheer malice, they unscrewed the nut from the shock absorber, saying that I was hypersensitive. They turned off the camera during these operations, so no. I have recordings, but just turning off the camera shows bad intentions

Very poor customer service at the front desk. Two people who look like they don’t really want to be there. Kept waiting for about 10 minutes before anyone actually came to the desk. All I went in for was a light fitting but I would have had to buy a new wing with the light fitting attached. Ridiculous. This used to be the go to place but I won’t be going back.

First: Quick, polite and helpful communication when considering to buy an expensive item and during the process.
Second: Fast help above expected when I came from abroad to pick up the part in Poole. Part seemed to be as described.
Making phone calls to help me on my way home.
Follow up mail after pick up to ask if things went well.

Bought a car door from them, arrived but had been damaged in transit. Spent three days trying to get a response from them on messenger and finally got though by phone. Arranged to return the door and swap it out with a another one. Telephoned the next day (a Saturday morning to be told they were closing at 1), tried to call on the Sunday morning as website said it opened 9-1pm to get an automated message to say they were closed. Had to take a day off work on the Monday to drive it there, arrived at midday to be told it wasn't ready and to wait whilst they located the swap out door. Three and a half hours later they told me they couldn't find it and did I want the damaged one at a discount price! Checked eBay and they had relisted the one they said they "couldn't find* as for sale. Don't bother with this company if you have an issue with an item damaged in transit - they aren't interested! Did get my refund in the end

Nicola. H is an asset to this company. She’s been beyond helpful , couldn’t fault her.

Offered higher price for Focus S Ecoboost, upgraded vehicle to premium status and paid a very reasonable quote considering its major engine failures. If I had the space I would have broken it apart myself but I have a new car now and I'm happy with the service I've received from Charles Trent!

A price was agreed for salvage, with me having been totally honest about the car's condition. Then one phone dropped the price by £100 - even though, it had been declared - then on the final call, just before pick up - the price was dropped by another £500 - again, the reasons given for the drop had all been included in the original write up. A dreadful way to deal with customers and a complete sham. Now sold via a totally honest company.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
I would recommend looking elsewhere for used parts.
Very poor and incompetent company to deal with, no customer service skills whatsoever.
Firstly sent the lamp for the wrong side of the car, as they had labelled it incorrectly.
Replaced it with another, which arrived damaged.
We have tried to arrange a replacement with them, they keep sending an automated template which thanked us for ‘reaching out’, and requested the vehicle reg, which we have sent to them 3 times now.
I requested a call from them but still nothing.
I get that sometimes things don’t go to plan, but ‘the measure of any decent company (or person) isn’t that you don’t have problems, it’s how you deal with them when they occur’.
4 weeks on and still not resolved, I hate to think how they’d deal with a bigger complaint than a broken lamp

Scrap car collection , they offered £3 !-yes £3 for a discovery in wiltshire , just 60 miles
When I questioned it they said it’s too far yet they have a you tuber who collects cars from wales London even Essex , they even went to Scotland
So I sold that same vehicle for £600 so the response and reply i received ( below ) illustrate the arrogance

They have invested literally millions ( of borrowed money ) on this venture
And the reply I got was arrogance, you’ve invested literally millions in the new business so I’m really surprised

Great experience, Dan on the call was great, answered all my questions about the Mercedes Rear Door I needed. Collection was also good, didn't wait long to be served, the man who served me went into the store collected door and placed it in my car. Excellent Service, I will recommend.

Great service as normal, called late in the day and Robert managed to help me out on 2 cars, great service.

SHAM COMPANY
I arranged for my car to be picked up
for scrap while I was not at home.... I left the keys on the front wheel as requested By their staff. The car must not of been to their liking as they like to sell SCRAP cars on their forecourts to the unsuspecting public.

On my return home the vehicle was still their and they had stolen my car keys and won't return them. I called their office only to be fed a bunch of lies by a Rude obnoxious piece of female Trash. I knew her tactic from the very start where she was making out she couldn't hear me and ohh its a bad line. In the end she put the phone down on me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

You called me at the time to amend the offer which I accepted. SO DONT LIE!!.... I returned home to find the car doors unlocked and no way of locking the doors.. You are liable for my car keys because you were the last person to have them in your possession. SIMPLES!!!!!

Just wanted to say a really big 'Thank you' to all the team at Charles Trent. The service was honest, prompt and reliable. the driver who picked up my car called when they sadi he would as well. as the friendly service, i can't remember the drivers name now but thank you anyway. Also the cusotmer service in reponding very quickly after my card details had ben enterd ring and how thy swiftly took care of it and get in touch with me as soon as possable. I have never had a car scrapped before, but Charles Treant really did take care of the whole proceess for me. Many thanks again to all involved.

Had the parts I needed, contacted on the Friday sent payment link had both large body panels by Tuesday morning,

Would give minus if we could. Have telephoned on various occasions over the past few weeks they never answer the phone decided to use other option said to the girl is there no one on the parts line without a word was put through to parts lol as you can imagine no answer you couldn't make it up. How do they do any business unless they are only interested with online enquiries and sales. There is no customer service anymore not like when Mr Trent Senior was alive. Very surprised they are still in business

Bought a bumper from them through eBay. Unable to get a despatch date or any other information, have tried calling them multiple times but am left on hold for an hour. Tried emailing but received an automated response.
