Trailer Dave is a genuine friendly gentleman. We are brand new to caravaning & he taught my husband & I on a one day course, covering all safety aspects of towing & setting up a caravan. He demonstrated & then asked us to have a go at caravan & car checks to make the towing safe. We then covered reversing & manouvers in a safe area until we were happy that we had "got it". Then set off in our own car towing Dave's caravan, thoroughly covering all types of roads & conditions with Dave gently guiding us through safe towing techniques. We felt confident & in good hands throughout the day & are now raring to get going on our Caravan adventures.

Good knowledge, good tuition. Well worth doing the course.

A worthwhile course to go on if you want to tow a caravan safely. Dave was professional, very knowledgable and a patient teacher. I would definitely recommend Dave Griffin.

Excellent day, exactly what we needed and well crafted around our requirements.
Definitely recommend for all levels of towing competence. I was just accompanying my wife on her course but I learned a lot although I have been towing since the 1980’s.!

Something that everyone looking to tow a caravan should do. Would highly recommend David who is very knowledgeable and informative. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely have more confidence now I have completed the course.

I had just given up motorhome’g and about to collect our caravan having only previously only ever towed a small trailer. The day with Dave was so helpful in not only experiencing towing a caravan for the first time but learning about the importance of configuring the caravan and car for towing. I picked up many other tips on the techniques of caravaning and links to all sorts of source on the internets. Even where to get insurance at reasonable cost.

Dave Griffin provided an exceptional day of training, taking us through all the practical tips and knowledge as well as several hours of actual driving to experience and practice on all types of roads.
As complete newbies to towing, the course has given us the base skills and confidence to start our caravan adventures.
Can’t recommend this course highly enough.

David is brilliant. I didn't just learn about driving with a caravan, the course covered so many different aspects of caravanning. Remember to keep both hands on the wheel or you'll be told :-)

Great tuition and easy booking thank you

David made an excellent training course very conscientious but knowing that you understood everything I kept on giving you practical things to do I’m very precise in his training methods

You will not get a more comprehensive caravan set up AND towing course combined for any money.
Super knowledgeable, super fun, super price 👌
David even remains on hand to take your call for advice in the future. Invaluable!

Excellent days tuition. Dave is brilliant, making you feel relaxed and puts explanations in easy to understand terms. You learn so much that I'd recommend him to anyone whose never towed before.

A very enjoyable informative training day with lots of information regarding safety regarding the towing of the caravan and a lot of time spent on the road. Would recommend the course to anyone thinking of towing a caravan.

David the instructor was brilliant so friendly and informative. And made us both feel at ease. Would recommend David Griffin to everyone.

Enjoyable day, learnt a lot about towing and caravanning in general

I would highly recommend Dave. My wife and I had no experience with caravans or towing at all before our session. Dave went through everything you could possibly want to know about caravans with few handy tips to take home also. Brilliant course thank you Dave.

Dave Griffin's towing courses are just great - he's an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional tutor - I had towed a caravan 30 years ago and thought I was OK until I invested in his course - my wife and I had a days training, which really delivered, answering all those functional/practical tips in a tutorial, and then out on the road towing with reversing back at base - my wife had never towed and Dave gave her the confidence she needed and has towed our Swift Conqueror 580 regularly since collection - I would thoroughly recommend Dave to anyone who wants to avoid making costly mistakes - it worked so well for us - thanks once again Dave.

Great experience! Dave really knows his stuff and I left a much more confident caravaner than when I arrived!!! Highly recommended!! You won’t regret it 😊😊

This course is an absolute must for anyone who needs or wants to improve their towing skills. The course is extremely comprehensive in both theory and practice with a major part of the training devoted to hands on experience covering a wide variety of driving terrain. By the end of the driving section you will have encountered most of the situations you will encounter on the open road. Dave is extremely knowledgeable, highly competent and has limitless patience
(both hands on the wheel please). I had some prior experience of towing a caravan, but this has definitely boosted my confidence. I cannot recommend this course highly enough.
