Not received my awning Towsure uninterested
Not received my awning that the currier put in outside bin without my permission. I contacted Towsure who are not one bit interested and despite them knowing that the currier has not delivered as expected and me showing evidence they are happy to protect the currier whilst knowing the wrong done. Looking at there reviews it seems I am not the only one dissatisfied with this company. I like others before me shall be issuing a civil small claim against Towsure as it is them and not the currier that my contract is with. It is for Towsure to refund myself then if they wish pursue a refund from the currier. I have attached contact names for anyone in the future who may be unfortunate enough to experience the same none customer friendly service as I have received. Ronald Theaker.
09/04/2026 In reply to reply from Towsure who would not know the truth if it him them in the face. Looking at there multiple previous negative reviews they appear to be very good at denying any responsibility for lost and damaged orders. The consumer act is clear in that the buyers contract is with the seller and the sellers contract is with the currier. Towsure are fully aware that the information held and provided by the currier is from 2 years ago and not relating to this delivery. I could not of possibly provided instructions for the currier to delivery my order to my bin when I was not aware which currier Towsure was using also this order was placed in my name yet my wife's name appears on the information provided by the currier hence showing currier is using out dated instructions from my wife's order with currier from 2 years previously. In any event any instructions to leave order in a bin is a last not a first option for delivery first option being knocking on buyers front door then leaving with a neighbour then putting in bin. It is as clear as day with Towsure that they cannot be trusted period.

Poor customer service
Ordered a Thule omnistor canopy and only on receiving realised it was too heavy for one person, asked to return it on the 14 day no quibble and advised would be charged £45 pick up which agreed but had not been advised of vat on top of it and 10% charge off overall price. For people in future looking to buy Thule omnistor canopy is far too heavy for one person to handle, would not buy anything heavy again from Towsure

Omnistor awnings are supplied direct from the manufacturer and we simply order the size you specified online at the time of order.
They are extremely large items that are fitted to the side of your vehicle. To return such a large heavy item does have returns costs associated which are clearly detailed before the goods are returned.
It is imperative to make sure when ordering you have researched the size and weight of an item prior to ordering to avoid disappointment.

Speaking with towsure about a technical issue upon fitting of a new towbar supplied by yourselves - the support was shocking, passed from person to person and onto towtrust - nobody seemed to know their product at all.
As a vehicle workshop with ODIS, it was never made apparent to us that infact a towsure towbar electrics CANNOT be coded without the use of towbar specific software meaning its pointless being sold to ourselves (as an external) due to not being able to code this to the vehicle.
Lesson learnt - ill stick to fitting OEM items in future.

It is made clear that vehicle specific wiring kits are for professional fit only and coding is required in most cases. This is why they are not sold the the public unless purchased with a professional fitting option.
As a service centre you chose the VSK kit and this was supplied, issues thereafter if you do not have the coding facility we would involve the manufacturer of the kit for assistance in advising what is required.
If the kit is unopened and within our returns period then you may return this for a refund.
