The variety and use of whole foods in the meals make me feel as though I've done my own shopping. Tovala is transparent in what is in the meal so you can easily choose foods for your taste and needs (high protein, Mediterranean, Southern style, seasonal, low calorie). They are not "blah" to the taste.

There is a wide variety of meals to choose from each week, and they are always fresh and delicious. It's super easy to use. I only ever had one problem with the meals not coming on time, but customer service resolved the problem immediately, no questions asked. Having Tovala has made my life so much easier. I strongly recommend it to anyone.

Tovala takes the stress out of meals. It is easy, quick and high quality. The orders are correct and on time- most of the time.

as a whole, the concept is great, saves time and a little money for meals. the choices are decent and the food is really good. the delivery service is absolutely horrendous, im not even sure how many weeks ive gotten deliveries, but ONCE and only ONCE were the instructions followed, every other time they were left elsewhere and most of the time, the box was destroyed by rain

I have tried several meal delivery programs and this is by far my favorite for freshness, quality, and portion size. Deliveries day and time is very consistent. The only thing I would comment on is they don't have the international diversity of plates like a few of the other companies, but it is still (about 4 months ordering) the best I have had.

The food is fresh and easy to make. They taste delicious. You get enough food to satisfy your hunger.

The food is delicious, it’s easily to cook and no leftovers. Perfect for a single guy who want to watch what he eats.

The food is easy to fix in the oven. Clean up is a breeze with the disposable pans.

I've tried a number of meal services. Tovala is one to stick with. The meals are amazing and cost comparative to others. However, not sure about using it for more than one person. I've never checked out the meals for 2 or 4 people.

Tovala is a great concept and the convenience of scanning a QR code for their boxed meals to cook multiple items at the same time in their smart oven is amazing. I really like the smart oven.

The portions are getting a little smaller and what was once at set prices for some meal choices now has surcharges. A piece of salmon, steaks, hamburgers have an extra fee on top of the set price of $14 a meal. The filet mignons used to be a little bigger even after paying $10 surcharge are now petite filets. A hamburger with tater tots can cost a couple dollars more if the patty is branded Omaha steaks. I don’t mind paying more but expect more. Now double meal and family sized portions are sold at a dollar or two discount but still count as one meal in your order.

The packaging and delivery service is awful. UPS delivers and the ice packs are partially melted making the food cartons soggy sometimes. The past three shipments have box damage or crushed meals. Only one meal had to be discarded of the 8 meals in one of these shipments. They really need find a better way to pack meals without adding extra ice and weight to shipments.

I love my Tovala Smart Oven Pro (with steam). I cooks and reheats perfectly. Reheating day-old bread sticks? The combination of baking with steam revived them as if they were fresh. I love the Tovala meal deliveries, as well. Most meals have some prep. But I've found that prep takes less than a minute from package to oven. Scanning a barcode on the included instruction card is a set-and-forget feature I love. Cook time is roughly 20 minutes from scan to done. I've even cooked a few of the chefs' recipes from the app with easy prep and 1 button press to perfectly cook them. They even have some grocery store items in their database you can scan and automatically cook. I'm a fan!

I’ve been using Tovala for the last 4 to 5 years prices have gone up and customer service has gone downhill

I I changed my payment method using the app and then the next morning noticed that it was not changed as pending charges were on that original payment method. I then emailed them and ask their support to change the payment method. They said they were unable to change when the final post occurs on Thursday at noon.

I’ve reached out and left a poor review on Tovala’s Facebook page without any false accusations and no profanity and they blocked me from their Facebook page they then also blocked me from Facebook messenger, so I cannot get a hold of them. I will call them next cause I know where their corporate office is in Chicago..

They’ve lost a customer of 4 to 5 years which is about $600 per month for the last 4 to 5 years that I spend with them and because they would not change my payment they have put me in financial situation this week.

Poor, poor, poor poor, poor customer service if you cannot do your job of helping your customer resolve an issue

Also blocking customers that leave a poor review is a sign of a shady business. I would think twice before using Tovala and look at the other companies with smart ovens and food packs..

Stay away from Tovala. They used to be great, but they’re not so much anymore. I don’t know what happened to their service and their support but it is terrible.

I love Tovala meals and I am happy with Veho delivery. I like the text notifications. It is very helpful for me to have a picture of the Delivery. I’ve been a customer for over a year and get deliveries most weeks. Most are wonderful. One time the package was left at the side door by the driver. That was difficult to hunt down. Customer service at Tovalapromptly refunded the meals. I live in an apartment complex. The building has at least eight doors. It never occurred to me that the driver would not use the main door where deliveries are placed. But as I said most weeks, the delivery is perfect. I love Tovala meals. I wish they did their own delivery, but Veho is doing a great job.

I tried several prepared meal plans and finally found Tovala. I like the fact that the protien is packed separately and generally not precooked. We have enjoyed almost all meals. I really like the fact that the seasoning is optional because we do not like spicy food at all. We had one delivery that Fedex delivered a day late, and most of the ice was melted. Tovala gave us a full refund. Generally the oven works pretty well and the scan codes are pretty accurate although sometimes cooking multiple meals makes the meals in the back a little overcooked. Only had a problem with one item overflowing the tin, sent photos and got a partial refund.

I have been ordering from Tovala for the past 4+ years, over 350 meals. There are very few that I wouldn't order again. I have shared my experience with many friends and several are now enjoying Tovala, too.

It’s great if it is cooking just for one person. Each meal cooks for about 20 minutes Not worth for two or more people.

The food is very good but there are frequently too few vegetables and too much salt.

I love the convenience of preparation and that the food arrives quickly and fresh. I like being able to cook the protein items and not have them pre-cooked. Other meal services for one person come already cooked taste like left-overs the day they arrive. Tovala does not because you cook it at home. Service is reliable and customer service is excellent. Food is of high quality.

The oven is amazing and easy to use. The meals are very easy to cook with simple step by step instructions. Most meals only have 3-5 steps which consists of separating trays or pulling the film off lol

I am very satisfied with their meals most of the time. They have a wide selection that you could choose from. They also offer extra meat and a few other items each week to add on to your meals if it’s not enough, especially for men. I love all their crabcakes and Italian dishes. They’re usually really good. I am impressed with the variety of selection that they do have and the consistency of the food.
