I had a very short window to schedule an interview coach and had zero experience in finding one. I have had multiple phone and in-person interviews in search of the next move for my career but couldn't seem to convert them to job offers.

Upon landing an interview for an exciting new opportunity at my current employer in another city, I knew I had to take it to the next level and get some professional coaching. The recruiter told me it would be a group interview w/ a panel of 5 and I have a tendency to stumble on myself in a tense setting like that.

In a few short days (less than a week), I was able to submit my resume and job posting, have a recorded coaching session, and receive some extremely helpful feedback from Nick.

The session went smoothly as he has experience in my industry and helped answer some of my questions about how to best tackle things like "what are your weaknesses," "examples of big mistakes," and questions to ask at the end (ALWAYS ask good questions for interviewers). The recording also exposed some of my vocal tics like pausing, speaking/thinking too fast, and looking more nervous than I should. It was difficult to watch but EXTREMELY helpful. He was able to turnaround a very helpful report with some great coaching videos and articles which gave me some much needed info.

However, I feel like the most valuable thing I paid for was CONFIDENCE. Especially on the job hunt, my "realistic" attitude tends to become "pessimistic" and affects how I present myself to potential employers. Nick made me feel like this was my job to lose and pointed out all of my strengths (not in a "braggy" way but a realistic, solid track record way) in a way that made me feel calm and confident about taking this leap in my career. The interviewers gave me a chance to make a final elevator pitch and I feel like the bullet-points in my head helped construct a confident answer that led to an offer.

Having had many disastrous interviews in the past due to my propensity to ramble, and hesitation in talking too much about myself, I turned to TopInterview in the hopes of developing skills which helped me anticipate questions and get to the point. I would like to express my deeply appreciation to Nick, because his strong support, i got my dream job at the end. I used the topresume service then they recommended the coaching service. So, i was purchased the service. Nick contacted me within two days and scheduled the mock interview with me and he shared very helpful tips during and after interview.

I first got the resume package from Topresume because I kept having mental block writing my own resume. At that time I was consulting for a firm but had doubts about job security. Having my resume professionally written was worth every penny I spent because I was able to secure a permanent job with a new firm using the resume that Topresume made for me.

The coaching session and feedback by Nick were vital in my interview preparations and the feedback I got from the hiring manager and HR was that all 6 of my interviewers enjoyed the talking to me!

Interestingly, I was asked by almost interviewer some of the tricky questions that Nick had previously coached me on, and I was able to ace the interviews.

I will be starting in a few weeks and can't wait! The coaching and resume-writing I had with this provider are one of the best things I've ever purchased and I will definitely be recommending the service to everyone.

I think this is a great service offered by TopResume. Heather C was a great interview coach! She offered detailed feedback in regards to my demeanor, my responses, and just pretty much how I was throughout the interview. Also, I'm glad she was able to record the interview to go back and re-watch and learn from my mistakes. She was very pleasant to speak to and had asked some great questions that would be asked in a real interview. He has reviewed my resume in depth and prepared well with great questions for our mock interview, I have got an opportunity to practice answering interview questions very customized to my background and position I applied for.
