Hard to believe these reviews. If one of these gushing review writer's could give me a genuine way to contact these gangsters, would be much appreciated. Please DONT mention the idiotic BOT or emails that say " Enter your query above the Red Line " but, it's impossible to enter text as suggested. Wouldn't touch the Gangsters/Scammers.

Can't praise this company too highly.
I bought a TomTom satnav very cheaply from a charity shop but it turned out to have some faults when accessing the menus. Searching online indicated that the screen might need replacing. I came across Satnav specialist who were offering such a service for a very reasonable rate. They acknowledged receipt, told me when it was being repaired with another email when it was complete and being posted back. Less than 2 weeks in total even though I only selected second class post. Highly recommended!

Fixed my Garnmin Edge 130 charging issue, very simple service: posted it off to them 15th April 24 and received it back 25th April 24 all working, no extra fuss or cost and back to full health.

Excellent turn around time, hope I never have to use again, but would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks for the service

Wish I'd found this company sooner! Excellent communication (email), clear instructions, very helpful and a very speedy, top-notch repair (new battery). Device now works like new again. Very reasonable price. Many thanks indeed. No hesitation to recommend and re-use in the future. (website is much better than I'd realised too! Comprehensive if not totally easy to navigate?)

Excellent all round. After speaking to a technician by phone I chose the non-priority service. I still received garmin back in less than 10 days, including Royal Mail transit times. Now works perfectly, with a proper solid connection.

This is a complete scam. They take your Sat Nav, charge you money for a repair and you never see it again. I have waited 4 months and been fobbed off by vague promises of getting my unit back.

Submitted my TomTom GO 6200 for a replacement battery. Advised that the repair was in progress on 26 Jun 2023. It is now nearly 3 months later and despite a number of emails I have still not received an explanation or the return of my TomTom. Would not recommend this company.

Edit: Following another email in which I advised that if I did not receive the device by the following week (4 Oct 2023) I would be following guidance received from the Citizens Advice. The device was despatched by them the following day and I received it on 30 Sep 2023). The device now has a new battery. The company cited 'battery shortages; as the reason for the delay, however there were at least two reviews on their website for the same service subsequent to my order (both reviews were good stating prompt service!).

My TomTom's battery was shot - it couldn't stay on for more than a few minutes. TomTom Repair Team (who also trade as SatNav Specialist) replaced the battery for a very fair price (parts and labour). Communication was good throughout.

I have the impression that most of the negative reviews here are from people who meant to review TomTom itself, not this company.

Awful satnavs, roads that have been changed (for example, you can't drive down unless you are a bus or taxi for instance), still not updated after years.... Expect tickets and fines, especially if you use in London.

Dreadful customer service and scam advertising when I purchased from Amazon it offered lifetime updates but it doesn't ! They now say 99.99 to update Amazon are no interested n my complaints because they say product is past guarantee. TomTom chat/helpline is useless and they offer no other contact email or even address to write to. Finally got a callback which I could not understand and eventually they hung up. Do not buy unless you are planning to keep buying updates and don't bother to try and complain.

So far not good. Sent item off to be repaired on Tuesday 10/8. Signed for on 11/8.

Tried phoning it just rings off the hook. Email not even any acknowledgement that its been received or read. I'm now expecting the worst and that I wont see this again.

TomTom are the worst company, their customer service is a shambles. My device stopped reading postcodes, when reading the discussion on TomTom they admit a manufacture fault. One and half hours later discussing the problem of a device less than a year old they refuse to refund my product and cannot help me unless I send in a video of said problem. This is a robotic world with robotic people now no one get to speak with a person with a voice. All tutorials are for tech minded people and I have a SatNav which has stopped working for me, bad business TomTom.

Fast, efficient, and good communications. Sat Nav returned working as new. Happy customer.

Just 100%. Easily purchased/booked, brilliant tracking of order, great communication over map issue (thank you!) and sent back super quick. I cannot fault their service - if only everything was as stress free! Oh and my TomTom? Back to its reliable self.....

Sent my TomTom Go5000 in for repair on Monday, received it back fully working on Friday. Cost £19.99 plus postage. Can’t beat that in my opinion.

I took my Tom Tom Go5200 into their Halesworth workshop as it looked like it needed a new battery. Marian, the engineer took some time investigating the sat nav with a couple of simple tests concluded that I did not need another battery. Both the Sat nav and cradle were working fine. The problem lay in a new fault in the power wiring. He could easily have just said Yes I will put in a new battery, but he did not.
I think this is great honesty and derserves praise.

Purchased a new TomTom online in Nov 21 as an xmas present for my husband. It did not work. Could not even turn it on. No number to call. Through email I have now arranged to have it posted back for a refund but some 3 weeks later I still have no refund and the item I returned appears to have disappeared. They plan to investigate. So my first frustration is they sent me a product that does not work. My second frustration is that it is impossible for me to speak to anyone and I can only communicate via email which takes an inordinate amount of time. My third frustration is that I am £180 out of pocket with a vague promise of an investigation at their end. Really not impressed. Will never purchase from Tom Tom again. If they cared about customers they would make it possible for me to call and speak to them or they would do the right thing and give me a full refund. Its not my fault their product did not work or that they lost it when I returned it.
