Same problem as others.
Timeguard you need to sort this fundamental issue like other 21st century companies. Not rocket science! A days outage is fine esp over Christmas period. But a week is terrible.

Otherwise a good app and good product. But as others say, the online/app side is utterly vital to selling these things.

4 timers all randomly switching.
Manual switch override reverts to auto after a few minutes.
Cannot access the App.
No tech service available over Xmas & NY 24/25
Had to call an electrician to bypass all timers.
Appalling system & service - cheap but nasty.

An utterly useless system. The app to allow us detatched control of the water heating in our second home does not work, cannot be reset, and there is no call centre to help. Avoid at all costs

System down, underfloor heating not working and can’t log in as network busy message. Does this most Christmas’s as clearly no one monitors their network over the holiday period. Avoid this product. Absolutely useless and I will be changing to a more reliable product.

Server down throughout Christmas and New Year making the timer unusable. Appalling customer service - actually non-existent during this period.

No support over Christmas and New Year period with servers down and not able to control devices. Software is buggy at best of times but right now totally useless.

Our Timeguard WiFi switch has been off line for several days now, I have E-mailed their support desk and I am getting the following responce. "Our Offices are now closed for Christmas and will respond to your email on our Return on 2nd January 2025." This is the second time we have had an out of service issue that has lasted for several day's (March 2023). I could not recommend their WiFi switch products to anyone.

They need to sort out their System Support issues

The app down once again - this is not a robust enough service - why is there no remote monitoring to sort the servers.

This just shows why we should not rely on app only systems alone I'm afraid.

Going to be changing mine for a manual electric timer with wifi access to avoid this in future. It ridiculous this company has allowed the server to be down for so long causing others to manually turn on their water or heating systems. Sort out your technical issues TG more quickly as it is not acceptable for the system so many rely on to be down for days with no notification from yourselves.

I use TimeGuard/SupplyMaster WiFi spurs to control heating and hot water. The server has been down for a couple of days. I noticed when I woke up a few days ago and the place was cold and there was no hot water.

TimeGuard don’t have any technical support staff on call. In fact, no-one bothered to change the answerphone message! Phoning at around 8.20, the message said they’d be open at 8am with no mention of a holiday shutdown.

Totally unprofessional. I’ll be replacing the TimeGuard stuff with something that is properly supported.

I'm adding my voice to the outrageous circumstance of servers being down for days with no support available. That might be ok for peripheral electricals but not for heating! In winter! Please sort this out.

After reading the negative comments and experiencing the same issues I can empathise, Not acceptable and would be reluctant to recommend going forward.

Fortunately I have been able to switch on my water heater timer manually the past few days whilst I wait for TG to sort out the wifi connection problem.
I noticed this evening (31st Dec approx 6.25pm) that the blue light on my timer had stopped flashing.
Unfortunately the app is still not working. Perhaps work in progress? 🤞

Server and app still unavailable - and no response from customer service line. Eventually made contact via LinkedIn but we still have no hot water !!! Would not recommend mainly due to unreliability and lack of customer care

I will be removing ours in the new year' had to cut our holiday short and return home. Absolutely 3rd world service...

This timer was bought to assist my wife as she is disabled. When it works, it's OK. System has been down for days. She is unable to get hot water or to press the overide. Shocking level of service. We will never, ever buy this again. Woefully inadequate support.

Simply put, whenever it loses connection to the server it ceases to function and defaults Off.

The server has been out since before Christmas and there's is no indication of when it will be back on.

Why oh why doesn't it at least continue work it's set program?

Absolutely unacceptable.

For years in the electrical trade Timeguard has been our go-to, but now unfortunately it's going to have to go on the Black List.

Please provide some support - I now have complaints coming in from guests as I have your product controlling heating. Please reset your servers - we all need a holiday - but we all depend on your servers so it needs to be supported. Really disappointing
