sales guy was really helpful when I was selecting my sheets, gave me a small discount as he didn't think the sheets were worth the grade they had. Warehouse went through every sheet with me so I had the best for my job. The boards were perfect for furniture, no unusable area at all

Would not use them again have spent €13000 with them over the past four weeks was hoping to use them as a sole supplier as the stock most of the things I require slow delivery have been waiting over two weeks for current order.
Serious attitude from the office when I enquire about the order I was pretty much told I shouldn’t of ordered from them
You’ll find you stop being the customer very fast.
Go elsewhere you will definitely get get better after sales treatment

Product is extremely poor as is customer service I spent over €25k with them the H posts of the fence snapped in the wind and caused significant damage. The whole fence fell apart. All they did was email me back ssying "see instructions" the installer followed instructions exactly. Flimsy product poor quality and no accountability taken. Will be going the legal route

Dan in the showroom is excellent. Very courteous and friendly but also extremely knowledgeable about all products. Very pleased with the service he offered.

Usually I don't write reviews, but read them before buying 🙈 but this time I said I have to write a review. Please take a minute to read it if you are thinking of buying from Timber Ireland.
So my first step was to read reviews on trusted reviews and it didn't look good, but for some reason I said I will risk it..
We went to Dublin to have a look at the fences ,Dan was so so helpful! We had a complicated fence which was one gap bigger, one smaller.. Dan and my husband came with the best solution and it worked out perfectly. Dan definitely knows his job well. He's so polite and friendly and so professional at his job.
After visiting Dublin I still had 1 million questions and Dan was always so good to give me a call and to answer to all my questions. He was so patient 😆 the owners should be very lucky to have Dan working for them. Also another very polite guy over the phone who used to put me through to Dan 🙂
So we finally made a decision to order the pvc fence. The delivery guys (who is not part of timber Ireland) only some delivery company delivered some damaged boards, my husband saw the whole situation that they were breaking boards trying to get them out from the van (the boards were wrapped perfectly) so anyways I contacted Dan straight away and the new boards were delivered in a few days. No hassle, no stress.
We absolutely love this fence its such a good quality and looks amazing!
So I would highly, highly recommend this company! We are so happy with the service and quality.
It's a pity I can't post photos here, but this PVC fence (dura post) looks wow.
Please don't have doubts and buy from this company! 5 stars with big plus.

Extremely bad service.
I've never left a bad review in my life before tonight.
I ordered 100 lengths of timber online through the online basket checkout system. On the 14th Nov 23.
It landed on the morning of the 22nd of Nov.
I happened to be on site myself at the time. The delivery man let us off load the pallet which was shrinked wrapped.
I signed the docket in good faith and thought no more of it.
About 20 mins later we decided to shift the load inside as it was raining.
When we counted them we realised there were 10 stacks of 9 rather than 10 stacks of 10.
I rang the company there and then and explained the situation. The man was friendly and said to leave it with him and he would organise delivery whenever he got a chance. As it was 10 lengths they wrong he was going to make it a priority which was fair enough. I understand it doesn’t make sense paying for a courier unless there is some other order going that direction.
As time went on I rang again on the 11th of December. I was told they were checking order dockets etc and they would ring me back.
They never rang me back and today the 13th I recieved an email stating that I recieved 100 lengths and that I would have to pay for another 10 lengths...
Why in gods name would I try to claim for 10!!!!! Lengths of timber on the sly.
Surely I would try other means of robbery to make a few pound if I was that badly stuck.
I'll not lose any sleep after tonight from this event but the the name Timber Ireland will be forever ingrained in my memory for a company NOT to recommend.
Also customer service was from Dan - who took the high moral ground stating I signed for 100 lengths. When I only in good faith signed the docket like any normal person does.

Extremely bad service. Staff are incompetent and lack common sense.
Would advise anyone to shop elsewhere!
Product is likewise, very inconsistent and T &G groves were cut different on 50% of what I recieved.

Product descriptions on the website were inaccurate or misleading. Same for some component images, no longer representative of the actual. Some component quantities incomplete on delivery.

Despite that the fence system works fine when put together and met all expectations.

We had a very poor experience with Timber Ireland and I would not in good conscience be able to recommend them to anyone else.
We ordered a product from them which performed extremely poorly after just a few months (it should have lasted for 3-5 years before any attention was needed.) When we contacted Timber Ireland for advice on the product they refused to speak to us and would only speak with our builder. They then denied any responsibility for their product and told us it was not covered under any warranty. They told lies with regard to how our builder had handled the product (even though he had checked with them 3 times and followed their instructions exactly) and made false claims about how we treated the product.
They sent a technical sheet on how to handle the product 18 months after the product had been installed, claiming they had sent this at the time of purchase which they had not and which they of course could not prove. They never came to see the product, or offered to help fix it in any way.
We had to get a second opinion about how to handle the product (the advice given by Timber Ireland on installation was completely incorrect) and had to repair the whole project at great personal expense.
My advice to anyone would be to think very carefully before dealing with this company.

Made a small order for wood 15 days ago, was told 3-5 business days for delivery but its in stock and more then likely out to you by end of week. That went by, emailed back and was assured it was being currently machined and will be to them today or tomorrow and you should have it end of week. Well that went by too, emailed again asking if there is a problem and now no word. If I don't get my order by end of this week I'm calling my bank to do a charge back.

Firstly goods where damaged in transit, and I was told I could possibly cut those bits off (composite decking) - then a mistake admitted by them for fixings, but told to come collect the correct goods, even though I paid close to 100 euro for initial delivery. Workmen onsite so I am out of pocket/day wasted. Its the nonchalant attitude I had issues with not the money, "I could give you back your money and take the whole order back" Comes across very poor/cheeky as a solution.

Received my decking delivery today. Keith in the office was exceptional to deal with. From helping with the design to making sure I was within budget all the way to delivery, he made the process very easy. Great company to deal with, from seeing the products in the showroom through to receiving my delivery. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family.

We can’t speak for everyone's experience but the door we bought was delivered in very bad shape and quality. There was a very large long crack along door and numerous defects. Not the same door as was advertised on the website. We had to send back and ask for refund. I don't think any customer would pay for this.

Fast delivery, very good product as always

Currently undergoing a garden renovation and used TimberIreland for microshading and some other joinery work. The experience we've had has been excellent and with the work almost 90% complete, we are delighted with the result. I dealt with Declan and found him to be quick to reply to all my queries and order request and delivery was always on time. Great job!

Really good support, fast answers to all questions, good quality of materials. The only issue I would have is delivery rates are very high
