I had used them for three years or more to service my boiler. Seemed decent. No complaints here. Asked about additional work, installing an outside toilet, sink and hot water system. He wanted to quote for it, so we took him on. It started well. Made stage payments immediately after snagging jobs were done. Then the unreliability crept in. Long periods before return to the job and eventually not responding to several calls and emails over a few months. Even ignored enquiries made through suppliers used by the business. Talked to other trades and was told that other clients were reporting similar unreliability.
Due to not turning up and the individual having stored materials outside on our property, winter came and we lost materials that had to be scrapped amounting to over £100, which we had to replace to continue the work. We treated him well with coffee, biscuits, use of facilities, bacon butties and prompt payments. We didn't deserve this treatment. Worse was to come. Eventually called a reputable accredited plumber out who pointed out that the water heater, connected to the sink in the outside toilet had been left in a very dangerous situation. No expansion tank or pressure valve fitted, literally leaving a bomb that would take out the room entirely. We had been told it was safe to use. NOT GOOD!

Jon is amazing, and extremely helpful. And even can out late to save the day for us.

In September 2021 I received a reminder from Three Shires Heating & Plumbing that my gas central heating was due its annual service, and asking me to phone them on 01684 593774 to book.

I phoned several times, with no reply, so contacted them by email to arrange a service.

This was done by Jon Harcourt who found a leak in the mains water inlet valve and diagnosed that the diaphragm inside the pressure vessel had failed and needed replacement.

He said that the parts were readily available and that he would email me with a price for their supply and fitting, but he never did.

I emailed two polite reminders, but received neither acknowledgment nor any further communication.

I was left with a malfunctioning boiler and had to make alternative arrangements for its repair.

I think that Mr Harcourt is competent, but I am unable to recommend him due to his poor communication and his failure to complete the job as promised.

For your peace of mind, and to avoid wasting your time, I would advise you to find an alternative.

I contacted Three Shires purely randomly. Jon got back to me within a couple of hours. He then visited the house, clearly understood the situation and remit and had a detailed quote with me the next day. A realistic time scale was also given.
All this with a knowledgeable, positive and reassuring approach
The job was completed within the promised time scale. Everyone involved in the work was professional, friendly and polite. The work area was also left in an immaculate state when the team left and at the end of the job.
I would use Three Shires again without hesitation and be more than happy to recommend them.

I have no option other than to give one star.

Don't answer the phone, don't reply to messages left.
When contact is finally made they can't come for weeks and when they do the person they send does not inspire confidence. Contact finally made and then I heard nothing for weeks

My central heating had ground to a halt, our plumber had left town, so we called Three Shires Heating. Jon diagnosed the problems, obtained free boiler parts under warranty and got the system up and running again. Excellent service!

Having decided to change our 40+ years old Worcester oil fired boiler we decided it had to be Worcester again. They provided a list of authorised installers and we decided to go with Three Shires Heating & Plumbing. This choice was due to the speed of response to our first enquiry, the confidence Jon gave us when he came to assess the work, the fact that the job could be carried out in a fortnights time and finally the price quoted.
The work was carried out with the minimum of disruption and we had our new boiler up and running on the first day.
We are delighted with everything and are equally pleased to have found a new reliable heating engineer to replace our now retired heating engineer who kept our old boiler running for the last 32 years.

I cannot recommend Three Shires Heating & Plumbing enough.

Their prices were fair, the jobs completed to a very high standard and the guys were incredibly careful, courteous and helpful - a real pleasure to have working in our house.

After our gas boiler was declared uneconomic to repair, we contacted Three Shires Heating (as accredited Worcester-Bosch installers) on 20th December, to request a quote for a replacement. Doug and Jon arrived within 2 hours and gave us clear advice on what was needed. An email followed an hour afterwards with a detailed and competitive quote which we accepted.
Unfortunately, the Christmas holiday intervened, but the job was completed quickly and effectively on 30th/31st December.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Three Shires Heating and Plumbing to others.

Doug and Jon installed a new boiler 12 months ago ,could not fault their workmanship then .Now just had the first service ,keen price ,they always arrive when they say they will ,so rare these days . Fully recommend them for installation and servicing .

Excellent service, The engineers arrived promptly, were professional and helpful, and were extremely thorough. Highly recommended.

Contacted them after seeing that they were listed as an accredited installer on the Worcester Bosch website. Our boiler was broken and we were without heating in the cold weather. The guys came around the very next day to give a quote and within a week we had a new boiler installed. They were very professional and noticed that my gas meter had dodgy pipework that could have leaked and they replaced it for us without any extra charge. They activated my 10 year guarantee on my boiler and I would definitely use this company again for all future work! 10/10 😄

Needed a new Boiler for Water & Heating System and a new gas main pipe from the meter to meet current safety standards. Jon and Doug turned up on time each day, were polite and friendly and worked hard with attention to detail to get the system up and running for us.. We recieved a detailed quote and they 'Listened' giving us exactly the system we wanted retaining our airing cupboard for us and they did'nt try to sell us or persuade us into anything we did'nt want.
