1 star only because I couldn't leave zero.

Not sure where to start with this. I received abysmal and unacceptable service from the Three Castleford store yesterday when trying to return an internet device which was still within the 28 days return period. Whilst the contract was taken out at the White Rose store (pushy sales rep at the time), I was informed that if the internet was not stable enough to work from home, there is a no hassle returns policy within 28 days and because I live closer to the Castleford store, it wouldn't be a problem returning the device there is the signal was not strong enough. Ok I'll give it a try I said. Having tried the internet for 2 days it was clear that the download speeds were completely unworkable for my needs, therefore I returned the device and requested the cancellation yesterday at the Three store. When I sat down with two female colleagues, they appeared disgruntled from the start. Having taken my driving licence and ID to start the return, and after reviewing the emails from Three when the contract was taken out, they stated that they could not arrange the return in Castleford because I didn't have the receipt (!) Guess what, there was no receipt even given to me as all paperwork was via email at the White Rose Store. One of the colleagues went to the back to retrieve some ''new rules'' which apparently states that any return has to be from the original store where the device was purchased. My response was that is ridiculous. Not only was I mis sold the internet speeds when I purchased the device, I am now being penalised for not being able to provide a receipt that was never provided to me in the first place.

Leaving unhappy, I made my way to the White Rose store (20 mile return trip). Whilst the White Rose staff were much better at providing customer service, they were clearly alarmed with Castleford's approach as apparently customers are able to arrange a return at ''any Three store even including London''. Comments were made and it then became clear that the reason the two members of staff refused the return was because it would go against their ''figures'' i/e a returned product would go against their sales stats - that was my takeaway anyway.

If Three management read this, I'd be happy to provide further information and a description of the staff you employ at Castleford who clearly penalise customers through their own means. Unacceptable on any level given the distance I had to travel!

Shannon was so helpful made it easy and was so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble assisting and sorted out all my issues which was a lot for me on my 3 she help cancel two sims that were costing me but were not used she was great x

Very helpful for someone like myself not being good with tech plus very informative about what product to choose from and helpful on setting up quickly a new sim contract, friendly staff (Thank you Aya) and straight to the point when deciding which method I wanted to choose for price
