We were dubious to visit this site based on mixed reviews but due to limited availability elsewhere for the Bank Holiday weekend we thought we would give it a go. This was probably one of the best sites we have stayed on, it was immaculate and the location right by the beach is brilliant. The pool was great and due to the booking system it wasn’t over crowded. Could do with a little on site shop for the essentials and the showers are a little dated but were very clean. We stayed on the touring side and the pitches were great. Will definitely be returning.

This is the third time I have been to Craiglwyd Hall, and as always a great place to stay. The caravans are always clean and modern. The fact I have returned is a statement of trust.

Thornley Leisure Morfa Lodge Caravan Park
I have a Caravan on their Morfa Lodge Caravan Park. Last year my boiler leaked and cause alot of damage inside my van. Sam the resident plumber looked after us with his expertise and knowledge and fitted a new boiler. I can honestly say that Sam made the whole experience alot easier

The Beach - Our Happy Place!
After many years of dreaming about owning a holiday home, finally purchased a preloved caravan at The Beach. Loved the place that much upgraded to a brand new caravan within a year and it's the best decision ever made. It's our Happy Place and little piece of paradise! Thornley are fantastic and all the staff are absolutely superb. The park is immaculate and extremely dog friendly. If you're thinking about purchasing a caravan I can, without a doubt, highly recommend Thornley Leisure Parks.

Morfa Lodge
Morfa Lodge
Had a static for many years on a different site before we chose to move nearer to the beach at Dinas Dinlle which we had visited regularly to walk the dogs. After researching the 2 Thornley sites at Dinas Dinlle we decided the best for us was Morfa Lodge. It was definitely the right decision. The beach is now a 10 minute walk away.
We initially bought in 2023, a van with a nice plot overlooking Caernarfon Airport. Magnificent Sunsets.
In 2025, we upgraded to a 3 bed static which was more suited to our changed circumstances. Another great plot with views of the Snowdon mountains.
With both purchases the process was well managed by Josh, the Sales Manager. There was never any pressure or mis selling. A genuine and helpful guy. As are the rest of the staff on site. Nothing is too much trouble.
We now have our Happy Place to enjoy with our family year after year.

Beautifully Maintained site
We bought our holiday home here in June 2025 and have spent part of every week there since. The purchasing experience was easy there was never any pressure to purchase. The management team are 1st class just want to help. The site it maintained to an extremely high standard and has basically become out Happy Place we are looking forward t lot more happy weeks there isn’t 2026

Fantastic park with breathtaking coastal views
When searching for an owners only park in North Wales, the choice is extensive. However, once we added our must haves – a genuine sea view, 5 star rating, club/bar, bistro, beautiful presentation, and a relaxed environment – the list quickly became very short.
We explored the coastline looking specifically for that uninterrupted sea view, and that’s when we discovered the Beach Caravan Park. It offered everything we had been hoping for.
When we first met Joe, the Sales Manager, it was immediately clear that they were more interested in understanding our needs than simply selling what was available. After checking our criteria, the options were limited – but Joe did have one that ticked every box.
Viewing our potential dream home by the sea was the next step. The park itself was so inviting, impeccably maintained, and full of stunning floral displays. The static home was perfect. Joe made sure we understood that this was a lifestyle investment rather than a financial one, which was exactly how we viewed it. We wanted to spend as much time as possible enjoying quality moments by the sea.
The purchase process was easy, the move in was straightforward, and Joe was always on hand to guide us. Any aftersales needs were handled without fuss or drama.
Since buying, we’ve spent many long weekends here, enjoying every moment. The Beach staff are wonderful, and to show just how right our decision was, we have since upgraded – on the same site.

Brilliant park and amazingly friendly staff
Our charity purchased a caravan here, we give unpaid carers a week of respite by the seaside, and the welcome from Joe was absolutely amazing. He could not do enought for us, and made sure that we got the best deal and best location possible. Everyone at the park has been friendly and incredibly helpful and the park itself is brilliant. We have no doubt at all that our carers will have an incredible break here and cannot thank the park enough for their warm, friendly welcome to the family.

Had a meeting with Josh to look at caravans, he was extremely polite, professional and helpful. He should us around the site and caravans that matched what we were looking for. He was very patient as my husband is disabled, he even helped him to get in to one of the vans for him to look at. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble. Sale went ahead and within a week I had the keys all thanks to the other Manager aswell getting it cleaned as they were short staffed. Love the site and the facilities, staff are amazing and helpful. I am now hoping to be there for many years to come.

Great Site with super friendly & efficient staff
Well presented and maintained site. All staff are superb and can't do enough for you. We purchased a new caravan and the whole process was seamless and Joe was superb when handling all our queries efficiently and without pressurising us to purchase. After sales was excellent and there was a couple of very minor snags with the caravan we purchased, but these were resolved very quickly (Same Day). All staff on site from reception, mainteance and bar staff are brilliant, friendly and help out when required. The staff in the bar always have time to chat, even when busy and service with a smile makes it a pleasure to go to site. High praise for the maintenance staff who keep the site looking pristine with great flower displays and everything neat and tidy.
There is a Cafe/Bistro (Tides) on site and the food is really good and plentiful. The only slight improvement for the site is the opening times of Tides. Currently closes at 5.00pm, it would be great if on a Friday & Saturday through the summer months if they could open later to say 7.00pm so that we could dine out for tea.
All in all a great site, with great service and done so with a smile.

BEACH HEAVEN
Been going to The Beach at Llandullas for over fifty years renting and have found it to be the best site in North Wales by far. Extremely friendly staff across the whole site. The cleanliness is first class and we particularly like the way the park takes care of the flower beds/borders and baskets. Nothing is too much for the staff. We had been looking to purchase a caravan for a few years and in 2025 this became a reality. The whole process of buying, from start to finish was made extremely easy by Joe. The best decision we made last year and we are well happy with the outcome.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. From our very first interaction, every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful, never once feeling pushy or pressured. I would never consider buying at a Thornley Leisure Park Site Again

In 2023 I purchased a pre loved static caravan at Thornley Leisure Parks Craiglwyd Hall site in North Wales
All was fine until I turned in November last year to find the whole static flooded with human waste which had come up through the toilet shower basin.
I reported this to the main office who sent an employee to inspect the damage.
He turned up, had a look and , I’ve never seen this before and left.
Since then no investigation into why it flooded has been carried out, and if it could happen again.
I contacted Thornley’s head office, David Thornley one the stakeholders replied basically with the same attitude, it’s not our problem.
I had just paid my annual site fee £5250, as the static is now unusable, I requested a refund, again negative response.
The whole thing is being dealt with by my insurance, it may prove to be a uneconomical repair the damage caused by the sewage is that bad.
Thornley are OK until there is an issue, being an unregulated business they have nobody to answer too, which they have proven in this case.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience and fully understand how upsetting it must have been to discover your caravan in that condition.
When the issue was reported, a member of our team attended to investigate as soon as possible. By the time we arrived, the flooding had cleared and there was no active backflow or visible blockage to inspect.
Without an ongoing issue present, it was not possible to determine a specific cause at that time. Since then, we have carried out further checks of the surrounding infrastructure and have identified no ongoing faults or blockages. We continually monitor and maintain our park infrastructure to minimise the risk of rare and unforeseen incidents of this nature.
As your caravan insurance is arranged independently, any claim relating to the damage must be progressed directly through your insurer. We are not authorised to manage or influence claims that are not arranged through our company insurance scheme, nor are we provided with updates regarding their progress. Where claims are handled through our park insurance scheme, we are able to work more directly alongside the insurer to support the process.
It is important that any ongoing claim remains solely with your insurer, as external involvement outside of their formal process can potentially affect how a claim is handled. Should your insurer require any information from us, we will of course cooperate fully and provide the necessary details.

Dinlle
It is our third year of owning a static caravan on Dinlle and we love it here. We upgraded our caravan in January/February 2025 which was very straightforward, Josh and the team went above and beyond to achieve the best deal for us. we're so happy in our lovely holiday home which has uninterrupted views of the snowdonia mountain range and Dinas Dinlle beach along with fish and chips and cafe Braf just five minute stroll down the road.
The staff in the office, park keepers and grounds people are all very welcoming and friendly. The site is about five miles from Caernarfon if you want supermarkets, shops, dining out or a fabulous Castle to visit. Owning a holiday home with Thornley Leisure has been a good experience for our family. It is helpful that you understand all the costs before buying one. Josh and his sales team were very helpful with everything. Well done Thornley for keeping such a beautiful site here at Dinlle. ☺️
