We are Shropshire's only specialist Antique Jeweller, selling unique antique and period jewellery & vintage watches. One of the only shops outside London dealing purely in genuine period jewellery & watches, we concentrate on quality not reproductions. Our beautiful little shop is located in the centre of Shrewsbury. We are open Wednesday to Saturday and have a wonderful website showcasing our stock. We also attend a handful of quality vetted Antiques fairs across the UK each year. We specialise in unique antique and period engagement rings and try to have something for almost every budget. I just wanted to take the time to drop a 5* review for Thomas Glover (Antique Jewellers) of 5 St Mary Street in Shrewsbury.
My mother passed some 7 years ago and now my father wanted to declutter, starting with Mum's jewellery.....there was quite a quantity, some of which had value, and some of which did not. Catherine and Andrew sat with me for several hours sorting the 'wheat from the chaff'. They are obviously both experts in their field, very professional and all round lovely genuine people....authentic, honest and professional business's like this really do seem to be a rarity in this modern world. Very well done Catherine and Andrew!

A one of a kind antique jewelers
What a gem of a shop! Catherine was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect antique engagement ring. I don’t believe I would have found anything like it elsewhere. She then arranged for it to be resized and sent to me overseas (arrived without a hitch). Certainly worth the four hour drive it took me on the day to get there. Highly recommended.

A quality piece of jewellery and excellent service.
I have now bought two brooches from Thomas Glover and both are just beautiful. Their website is the first place to check if I am looking for a particular antique jewellery in excellent condition as they often carry unique but wearable lovely pieces without standing out too much. I live overseas so have not actually visited their beautiful shop but the website is brilliant with clear descriptions and photographs. Very responsive and both shippings were quick and trouble-free.
