Noticed the chronograph on my watch was not reseting to the correct position. Took it to my local Watch Lab store who have done my battery changes in past and the guy on the counter (sorry forgot to get name) confirmed this was a known random issue with chronograph's that can be 'reset' using the watches dial & buttons. He has a little play around and figured out how to do this on the spot and then reset them back to the correct position. He then took the time to go over how I could do this myself should the issue ever arise in the future. Went over things step by step and had a really friendly, happy to help attitude throughout. Everyone I have ever dealt with at this store has been the same, always smiling and happy to help whether it's a big or small issue. Legends!

I was recommended to the Watch Lab in Touchwood Solihull for a replacement TAG battery. I was recommended to see YUSRA. I arrived 10 minutes before closing time and YUSRA couldn’t have been more helpful. Whilst it was clear that she was getting ready to close up for the day, she was very happy to change the battery for me as she could see how desperate I was to have the battery replaced and she took her time in doing so. I was absolutely delighted to have my watch working again without the 8 to 10 week wait at TAG. YUSRA said if I called in again when she was next working she would be happy to clean my watch for me. Needless to say I will be returning to see YUSRA when she is next working to have my watched cleaned together with a replacement battery for my other watch and a car battery. Great Service and with great empathy. Thank you YUSRA.

Had to give it a star so I could write a review! Not a chance I was paying £90 for a replacement battery for my Tag

Took it to a local watch repair place and it cost a lovely £40 for battery, new link and a really great polish: it looks good as new!

Not to mention the terrible customer service I received at the grimsby branch (watch hospital). I had previously taken it here yearly for a reasonable £30 replacement battery but was abruptly told that “watch lab now own it” I asked if that affected the difference in battery. The response “I don’t know”

Diabolical

(Liverpool One) Paid £100 for a new battery and polish on my Tag watch. Got home to find the watch strap was on upside down. Got in touch with customer service to complain and got a sorry about that she is very busy in that store go back and she will fix the error. Won’t be returning in future.

I had a battery replacement in a ladies Dior watch in the Southampton branch at a cost of £85. When it was returned to me the whole watch wobbled in the casing. The assistant told me it was like that before she fitted the battery. No, no, no! They agreed to take it back and fix it - OK. I did not learn a lesson! A couple of months later I took the watch back to have a new leather strap fitted. It’s an unusual strap so The Watch Lab fitted an ‘alternative’ strap for £65. They gave me an extra strap FOC. Really? I have had the new strap for one week, it is extremely poor quality, it has already cracked and one of the loops on the strap has broken and fallen off. I have never had an ‘alternative’ strap on this watch before. The Watch Lab advertise that they repair all top makes, including Christian Dior. A market could have done better. I do not have the energy to face these people ever again. My loss but I hope that others can learn from my experience,

First and last visit. Called into the Chester branch yesterday for a replacement battery for a ladies Gucci bracelet watch - not a waterproof one. I have previously had 2 replacement batteries since new in 2002 and paid a maximum of £10 (other venues). I was quoted just under £60 with a 2 year warranty. I didn’t ask if the replacement battery had Gucci embossed on it but assume it was just a standard battery so decided to walk away. I called into a local watch repairer today who fitted a high quality battery for £5. If it lasts as long as previous ones I will be very pleased. Obviously, I could pay for 12 replacement batteries (within 2 years) before It would equal their quote.

Lovely people on the desk in Watch Lab Cribbs Causeway but charging £10 for 2 watch batteries is way too much. Simply no need for batteries to cost that - even from a “real shop”.

£795+ to service an automatic watch? What??

I took my TAG chronograph to the Watch Lab trafford centre, I was a bit hesitant at first after speaking to the other shops that sell TAG and service the watches in the trafford centre. I choose the Watch Lab as they were very helpful and also had the shortest turnaround time. They advised it would take 4-6weeks and I was not disappointed received texts and updates even when I was passing through I went to the desk to see if they had any detailed info of when it would be ready. They had advised it was awaiting a new internal base plate which had been ordered from TAG. A week later got a message and a phone call that the watch was ready for collection. I can honestly say they did an absolutely amazing job it was like brand new when I collected it. Even sent me back all the parts they had changed, the buttons, seals, screws and pins. The price they quoted is exactly what I paid no extra. I can highly recommend them for the service and the sales staff at the trafford centre are nice bunch to be honest. No pressure selling and also a pleasure to deal with.

I asked for the battery to be changed and pressure tested on a perfectly good working watch at The Watch Hospital in Watford The watch was fully operational and ticking when handed in. On my return, the watch was found to not be working and was beyond the skills of the operator to repair it. I was advised at a large cost to have it sent away to a specialist for a new movement. which i did. After many e mails, Vicky on customer service resolved the problem and kindly return the fee. I think the shop operatives have limited experience in this field and I would have a qualified jeweler change the battery in future

Manager in Solihull Touchwood was brilliant. He sorted my request promptly after a previous employee had turned me around and wasted my time.

Served by grant in the york shop. Links taken out of my watch. Quick and really friendly.

The Watch Lab in Salisbury. Beware of this branch in Salisbury. Took my wife’s Longines Watch into the Salisbury Branch of “The Watch Lab” to have the battery changed. I was quoted £74.99 I kid you not.
This Lady in Salisburys Branch if The Watch Lab is giving the Franchise a very bad name, A family Jewellers further along the street did the job £10.
The Watch Lab in Salisbury ….what a Rip Off

In May 2023 I took my Oris watch to the Leeds Watch Lab as it was running slow and needed a service. I'd had my watch serviced by the the company in 2017 and although it took some time I was delighted with the result. It came back looking like new. I gave the company a glowing review on Trustpilot. It transpires that the watch was sent to the Oris company who carried out the work.
In addition to having my watch serviced I also asked them if the bezel could be either replaced or tidied up as it was showing its age. Seven weeks later they tell me that the watch will be serviced and the bezel will be replaced. 7th October I collected the watch. (150 days later). The watch had not been polished as previously and the receptionist explained there was issues with cleaning the titanium case and bracelet.
The watch continued to loose time and I noticed that the new bezel no loger laid flat on the watch case. I thought I could live with this, but it began to annoy me as I'd paid £349 for the work to be completed. Watch Lab guarantee their repairs 2 years, so in March 2024 I took the watch back to shop and pointed out my disatisfaction. The retained the watch and told me the repair would be expedited. (Lip service it transpires)
At the end of April 2024 having been told it had been repaired I attended the shop. The bezel was damaged and still did not lay flat to the case.
I heard nothing from the company, so 15th August I wrote a letter of complaint to the Watch Lab customer services, copying in the official Oris service centre. Oris replied stating last had my watch in 2017. Watch Lab responded telling me the watch had been returned to the shop in June. I had not been informed of this. (Another 150 days they'd had my watch).
20th August, I attend the shop and the bezel had still not been sorted....I am promised it will be repaired to my satisfaction.
Today, three weeks later, I receive a message from Watch Lab, the watch has been received by their repair department.... and should be repaired in about three weeks. That will mean they will have had my watch for 342 days and I still don't know if it will be satisfactorily repaired.

I had a very good customer experience. I do not get out very much because of my disability so every thing was done on line. I had a replacement battery for my Rotary watch and reseal. The watch I had for many years was more sentimental and for that reason was valuable to me. It was returned quickly without any hassle - Thank you all so much from Ann-Marie B

Absolute scammers. Took a Rolex watch to the Chester branch and was told it would be 1 week to repair it. After the week ended I phoned up to get my watch back to be told it had been lost and they would get back to me after they had found it. It took them 6 weeks to find the actual watch and when I got it home the winder fell off and there was black gunk in the hole where the winder should have been. I then took it to a local watch repairer and he said it hadn't been serviced at all. I requested a refund from them but have been passed from 1 department to the next with everyone giving excuses and telling lies to me so j am now having to go through my credit card company to obtain the refund. I would give them zero stars if I could. The watch was never touched in the first place and after 3 phone calls to them I am just about sick and tired of all the lies they are spouting to me over the phone. AVOID.

Ahmed was amazing! I took over a hard job and he didn’t hesitate to fix it what’s so ever. No where was able to make my watch smaller with no more removable links but he did.

Couldn’t recommend enough!
