I've been using VR for about 18 months now.
Great choice of voices, superb customer service (had an issue with a voice talent not being available and it was all sorted within a few hours), the voice talents have always been super nice and went the extra miles with their recordings.
5 stars for sure!

Hidden gems, great service
The Voice Realm has been a massive help for our work and the customer service is above and beyond! Special shout out to Audrey who was extremely helpful. Would recommend if you're in the market for a quick and professional sounding VO at extremely affordable rates.

TVR Winning!
TVR clients offer me a great range of projects that are fun to work on and as a full time working pro V/O talent get paid for which pays the bills.
Plus you always get wonderful support behind the scenes on any topic with the TVR crew.

I am a pretty new VO actor (five months) and I've had the most success with The Voice Realm. Their customer service is awesome, they are less expensive to join than the other sites and,most importantly, the prices are set-no bidding! Also, I believe that they release all auditions to the customer at once, so I don't have to worry about auditioning for a job as soon as it posts-like late at night. I just completed a job for national tv and radio, so I'm over the moon!

Excellent service
Excellent service. Hired a Voiceover for a medical animation, The Voiceover read the script and it was amazing how good it was. Service efficient, reasonably priced compared to others I looked at. No hidden fees.

Is it just me?
I've recorded 200 auditions as a VO artist without any success.
Outside of VoiceRealm I've recorded a wide variety of voiceovers for video explainers, audio tour guides, commercials, medical, financial offerings, arts projects...
I don't think I will "pay to play" again.

Thanks for your review. We offer a service to clients to audition and hire voice actors. We are sorry that none of the clients have hired you. As you are aware we don't have any say in who gets the jobs. We have made a platform that is the fairest of them all.
You may be getting bookings outside of our site, but these may be on sites that charges $5 and other rates that undercut other voice actors. So it's not really fair to say you get booked elsewhere but not with us, as no one knows what you are charging elsewhere. It could be half the rate of ours.
We have voice actors who have booked over $50,000 on our site already this year and there's still 3 months to go. So to give the impression that our website isn't any good is totally incorrect.
Once again, we are sorry that you haven't been hired. However we have provided you with the service of sending auditions to you, that you audition for. We don't determine who gets hired.
You can contact us via our live chat if you would like to speak in more detail about this. Because unfortunately if you want to dismiss us publicly, we will respond publicly.

I've used the Voice Realm in numerous occasions, and have always been extremely satisfied. The voice talent I've worked with in several languages have been extremely quick and responsive, and the quality of their work has been outstanding. The support team (available in the form of a live chat) is very helpful and friendly. The Voice Realm is undoubtedly a great resource that I will continue using and will happily recommend.

Very easy to use!
I randomly found The Voice Realm, and boy I'm glad I did. I was able to audition VO actors and select the best one, all while saving money from my indie film budget! My favorite feature was being able to listen to the 30 sec auditions and send favorites to my film team. Highly, highly recommend!

In my personal experience I have found…
In my personal experience I have found Voice Realm to be professional and support agents are always on hand to help with questions and queries.
I have found it a good service to be a part of for it's voiceover jobs in between 'jobs' and I do find I get work from there so therefore I do find the website and service deserves a 4 star.
However, alongside the 4 stars I have to be honest and say I do struggle with the fact that the website markets for 'cheap' professional voiceover talent.
When a lot of us are working professionals and should be paid a full Equity voiceover rate. It's a very fine line between choosing to accept these jobs so we stay working (although it defeats the point) that really we should be paid a fair wage for our work, especially when we use our home studios, edit and revise it ourselves ready for (sometimes highly demanding) clients.
Voice Realm are always there to support you and are very helpful but I also find on top of the lower fees we are paid as artists they take quite a big cut from the fee. I do understand this is to fund staff and website but feels slightly undercutting to the talent who work hard and provide the recordings.
Once you receive your final payment (after voice realm's percentage, international transactions fees to PayPal, currency exchange from dollars) you find that the amount you receive is substantially less than first advised, which is why it can be very frustrating.
I will continue to work with Voice Realm as I said before, it works for me but I do find these points I have made above concern me.

All the payments and fees are made clear upfront before anyone joins the website, and even pointed out right through the process, and even when hired, and on the page where you complete the project for the client.
So we are very sorry if you missed all of those.
But we are very proud to list professional voice actors like yourself on our platform for clients worldwide to hire, without the need for back and forth negotiating and then chasing payments. We have streamlined the process, which of course costs us money.
