I recently move into a house that has 3 x roof windows from the rooflight company - they look great and operate really well. The windows didn’t have any blinds fitted unfortunately, so we purchased the bespoke blinds from the rooflight company. As they link to the window size / part number, they were super easy to order. They were not cheap - but they are worth every penny. Great quality and couldn’t be more simple to fit. I couldn’t recommend their windows and blinds high enough.

Mixed feelings
Two of my windows, which were 8 years old, were easy to find blinds for but the other two were discontinued so could not get blinds, which was a bit disappointing. The order was delivered in a timely manner. The blinds are easy to fit and look good, however for the price I thought the quality would be a bit better. They are a little flimsy and do let quite a lot of light in around the edges for a black out blind. Overall I am happy with the result

Excellent service from start to finish!
Excellent service from start to finish with all 3 of my orders. Amy has been more than helpful on every occasion i have needed to either speak with her or e-mail her. Pippa in customer service is also a credit to the company along with everyone else that i have had to deal with throughout the ordering process.

Great service along with my replacement rooflight gas struts
I needed replacement struts for my loft windows and I had superb help and coaching from Paula in Customer Services who made sure I got the item I needed and that the pressure charge was right for my installation. She gave me coaching and instructions for how to install the new struts and then followed up to make sure everything worked. The struts were robust and quality items too. All round great service - with special thanks to Paula.

C07 conservation skylights
After placing the order which was recommended by the clients architect we received the windows .
Both my client and I were very disappointed on the design .
The windows were c07 skylights the amour of visible glass was terrible as there was a wide bar down middle to create this conservation look.
I’m sorry but for the cost involved we would not be buying these again.
Clement windows are far more better design to replicate the old Victorian ones.

As the original innovators of the Conservation rooflight, designed to faithfully replicate the Victorian era cast iron rooflights, we combine the historic appearance of a glazed in bar with modern performance and legislative standards. The CR07-2 is the smallest model in our wide range of standard sizes with a glazing bar however, if planning permits, it is possible to order a customised model with the design amended and glazing bar removed.

very slow with delivery, states 3 weeks on the site but its now over 3 weeks and it hasnt even shipped yet

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that the delivery timescale did not meet with your expectations. All our blinds are custom made to order and timescales vary depending upon the specification which is why lead times are advised by the Sales Team when they process the orders.
Looking into your order history we can see that this was placed on our system by a member of the Sales Team on Monday 12th April, the next working day after you placed the order on our online shop, and a confirmation email was sent to you with the Sales Order Acknowledgement outlining the approximate lead time and target delivery date. The blind was delivered on Wednesday 5th May at 11.05am, extended by a day due to the Bank Holiday on the 3rd May.
We hope that you are happy with the blind and installation has been completed successfully however should you need any further support please do contact us at customerservices@therooflightcompany.co.uk

I wouldn’t order another one
The business is a good one, but the product they manufacture is poor. Ordered a conservation roof light and it had silicone all over parts that shouldn’t have it and one bit of trim internal to the window broken, not possible to have broken in transit. In my opinion, not in any way worth the nearly £1200 paid for a tiny window.

In 40 years in the construction industry I have never dealt with a company that passes the buck (problem) to the next department so fast, between myself and my customer we were pulling what hair we had left out. Sorry nothing positive. Alan Smith Worcestershire

As a home owner
As a home owner, the literature explaining the different window sizes, as well as the different types of windows was very confusing. However, the staff were very helpful each time I telephoned with questions, and the process of ordering and delivery was faultless. I will certainly be using The Rooflight Company again.
