Our customers are modellers, collectors and enthusiasts who are fans of model railways, vehicles (military and civilian), and diecast models and figures. We’re ready to provide you with a premium experience and first-class service. We’re essentially mail order, but we do have an onsite showroom and workshop for visitors to enjoy. We stock all major brands of model railway locos and rolling stock across all gauges at competitive discounted prices, usually around a 15% reduction on the recommended retail price. Great A1+++
As always, everything is as it should be. Item was well packaged. Dispatched was very good. Choice of delivery was the best (Royal Mail), for where I live. The company is Model orientated, so everything clicked.

The Add to Trunk option
The Add to Trunk option offered by The Model Centre on purchases is a great feature for overseas buyers. It allows buyers to pick up bargains or sought after items without having to pay for postage costs on every individual item. A great idea and it offers considerable savings for overseas buyers.

Class 43 Welsh Dragone
Received back my beautiful pair of GWR Class 43s with the Welsh Dragon and Castle nameplates applied to 43187 and 43188. Very pleased with the price and service offered. In due course I will be fitting sound to the units.

The website is easy to navigate
The website is easy to navigate, orders are sent promptly, within a day or two and prices are very reasonable especially for DCC sound models for which I have ordered a few.

Good advice but disappointed that the time estimated for fitting 2 decoders started at 2 weeks and gradually moved to 6.
Whilst appreciating that orders are kept in strict order of what arrives in first, it might be worth considering separating the more complex work so as to avoid bottlenecks.

More well weathered
More well weathered, by them rolling stock, a few OO brake vans this time. I have in the past also bought more exotic items that they have weathered such as the Bachmann Cowans & Sheldon crane and the Rapido APT-E. Pre-sales and after sales service pleasant and responsive, questions and any, only one issue with a model resolved quickly.

Good to buy from
I have used TMC a few times now for run of the mill buys but these guys catch me out with the flash sales and yet another purchase….. I always find their pricing competitive and coupled with quick despatch and delivery, what’s not to like.
