Our customers are modellers, collectors and enthusiasts who are fans of model railways, vehicles (military and civilian), and diecast models and figures. They are also keen kit builders and diorama creators. Our knowledgeable team includes railway modellers and dedicated railway enthusiasts, RC experts and plastic kit enthusiasts. We’re ready to provide you with a premium experience and first-class service. We’re essentially mail order, but we do have an onsite showroom and workshop for visitors to enjoy. We stock all major brands of model railway locos and rolling stock across all gauges at competitive discounted prices, usually around a 15% reduction on the recommended retail price. It’s not just locos - we supply everything you need to compliment your layout from scenery, figures, buildings and electrics to modelling tools, paints and effects. We also sell an extensive range of plastic kits, slot cars, diecast models and aviation models.

The price for the model was very competitive, the model was very well and accurately described on the website. There was a slight delay as there was a little customisation (very well done). The model was very well packaged and delivered as informed.

Very good prices and a huge range!
Lovely people to deal with. A recent order was delayed because an item was out of stock, as explained most courteously when I called them. They were happy to refund the item out of stock and send the rest immediately, or send it on when back in stock. I asked then to deliver when all items were in stock, which they did very promptly. No money was taken until they shipped my order.
Have used many times in the past and will continue to do so.

Cracking deal 'forced' a sale
Cracking deal 'forced' a sale. Item came through within 48hrs, despite low postage costs. It was wrapped very securely too, meaning no damage in transit. Excellent speedy service.

While placing my latest order l missed applying the 5% discount code because the advert said " it's a site wide" deal. I assumed it would be automatic, but alas no!

Complete lack of follow up
I have attempted to use your company twice, each time leaving details of my requirements which were straightforward. In both cases there has been no follow up whatsoever. Latest was price and delivery date for a pair of the forthcoming model of the LNER 6w parcels van, weathered and mint. So I moved my business to Rails.

Made the mistake of collecting three…
Made the mistake of collecting three ordered items at the shop in Beckhole. With my wife waiting in the car outside it took 52 minutes precisely to get the items despite there being only one customer in front of me. No acknowledgement that I had been waiting ages. The customer service chap eventually mumbled something at the computer and then disappeared for ages and then came back with a wrong item. No eye contact or explanation what the problem was. Appalling customer service. Check your CCTV if you don't believe me.
