I cannot recommend TIC highly enough and I am so incredibly grateful for all the help and support they have given me.

From my very first contact with TIC, I spoke with Annabel, who was incredibly helpful, kind and reassuring. She has continued to be so supportive throughout the process, always responding quickly to my questions, being readily available to speak to me and offering advice whenever I have needed it. It has made what could have been a very stressful and daunting situation feel so much more manageable.

Annabel also kindly arranged for me to have a call with the Insolvency Manager, who took the time to discuss my options with me in detail and answer all of the questions I had. I felt listened to, understood and fully informed, which gave me much greater confidence about the next steps.

These guys are very professional and knowledgeable. From first contact with coordinator Charlotte, to a next day Teams meeting with Insolvency Manager Kayleigh and her colleague, they answered all my questions and gave very focused advice regarding a not-very-straightforward liquidation. As promised, a quote was supplied for the work the same day, which was reasonably priced. I have full confidence in Kayleigh’s expertise, however as this task was part of a Probate liquidation, the Probate company has now clarified that they will do the work as part of their fixed price structure and so I won’t need to outsource this work. I wasn't sure what to expect when going into voluntary liquidation but Gareth and Monika managed the complex process with professionalism and skill - It started 2 years ago and has just completed. I was absolutely delighted to work alongside them, they ensured it was a stressless ordeal (for me) and I would highly recommend them and their services to anyone entering into the liquidation process.

I reached out to The Insolvency Company on behalf of a close friend who was unable to pursue this himself for some reasons. I wanted to help him start a conversation with his creditors.

I did some initial research and noticed that The Insolvency Company had an unusual reputation: people described them as compassionate. That’s rare in this field.
It turned out to be completely true!

I spoke to Charlotte Trumbull first. She took time unhurriedly to fully understand the situation. No pressure. No rushing.
She then arranged a free initial consultation with Steve Elliot, a senior partner and true subject matter expert.
What genuinely surprised me was that Steve didn’t just have deep expertise; he was also remarkably attentive and clearly cared about the discussion. At no point did I feel his primary focus was moving toward fees.
In fact, Steve proposed a thoughtful, intelligent way forward that could be pursued directly meaning no fees at all.

He stayed an extra 20 minutes on the call to make sure every relevant aspect was covered. He even offered to be available if further advice was needed later.
The philosophy he shared stuck with me:
“We listen to our clients, try to help and advise as best we can, and we only discuss fees if both sides are certain we can add value.”

That is unusual. And deeply praiseworthy.
It’s rare to speak with true professionals without feeling like the clock is ticking.

I recently used The Insolvency Company for a Member's Voluntary Liquidation, mainly as I knew Alison Dickinson was there and I'd dealt with her previously. It was no surprise therefore that the whole process, end to end, under her management, was efficient and stress-free even though the turnaround time from company end to tax year end was really tight. Alison is a totally reliable true professional who even supported me with my accountant meetings. I have no hesitation in recommending this company, and Alison in particular, for any liquidation needs.

Monika at The Insolvency Company (TIC) was excellent, especially the standard and timeliness of her communications. She was fully in control of my company's MVL at all times. I wasn't convinced of the necessity of hiring TIC at the beginning, but in hindsight, I'm really glad I did. I highly recommend their services.

We had decided to wind up our company through a MVL. We thought we had some time to do that until His Majesty's government decided to change the rates on the Business Asset dispersal relief on MVL's which happened after 4th April 2025. We had already approached another Insolvency Practitioner but was not happy with their longwinded approach. My conversations with Gareth convinced me that he could achieve the liquidation in the given timescales, and that proved to be the case. We went into liquidation on 3rd April 2025. All the communications with Gareth and his team were clear and informative, always advising us of the next steps and the dates that needed to be met.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Insolvency Company to anyone who wants to go through the same process.

Gareth and the team have been available if I needed any advice, also I was able to miss a payment once when needed, there has been times over the 5 years when I have made contact with the team for guidance and I have always had a reply.
