Here at The Ideal Garden, we've been selling high-quality gardening and landscaping products to customers all over the country for years. Our family-run business developed from our landscaping firm which has been going since the 1980s. We discovered some great landscaping products over the years and decided they were so good that we would start supplying them ourselves. Since then, the online shop side of the business has grown massively - but we still run everything from our central office and storage centre at Calves Lane Farm, maintaining the close-knit family-run style of doing business.

Not cheap but worth it
I’ve been doing my garden by myself all summer and this was one of the finishing touches. At first I was a bit taken aback by the price but after a lot of comparison I realised it’s actually one of the cheaper ones I found, and after grafting all summer to save money I didn’t want to mess it up at the end. It was so easy to install, super easy to chop to size with just some secateurs, and this was the ONLY white grid at a low depth I found (which is mad to me because those are such bonuses!!).
The description said 1 tonne of gravel would cover 30sqm with this, which wasn’t correct in the end, I had to double. I used a 14-22mm size gravel which is a bit bigger than recommended but it still fit in this grid perfectly.
Overall so glad I invested in these. They were so easy to install and made laying and distributing the gravel an absolute breeze.
The only negative of my experience is that delivery was very expensive, but worth it for the results

Yes, it’s pretty easy to do

from mud bath to Show Garden…
we have totally renovated our garden using core edge..over 70 metres of it!! 11 boxes
Originally we ordered the heavy duty which we found really difficult to install (our mistake)
customer service were fantastic and replaced with the correct domestic edging which was really easy to install. Very quick (one Day)even with dog helping...
We are two 65 year olds with little diy skills, dodgy knees and bad backs if we can achieve the end result of a professional finish than any one can.
We have received numerous compliments on our garden and would highly recommend the product and service from Ideal Garden.
the core edge we bought worked out less than half the price of an other similar core edge competitor
