Beware of this company. As mentioned in other reviews my mum purchased hearing aids that did not fit, she made her first payment in July 2025 and did not get the product until Sept 2025. When she took them back they said they will order another pair, again after a long wait this second pair did not fit either, at this point she asked for a refund, up until New Year eve they promised to refund her money.
I managed to speak to the owner Rohullah Nimat, who said he was still trying to find when she returned the first pair of hearing aids. After not hearing I sent a text asking for an up date, to which he replied she was outside the 60 day return policy, I asked for proof of this but got no reply. I provided the dated my mum had and asked to him verify if these were correct but again no reply. I followed the Citizen Advice and sent a letter asking for details but again no reply from this company.
My mum is over 80 years old and to lose £3,800 is a lot to her. We are still fighting this case.

My experience with the Hearing World was almost identical to that of the customer who wrote in December 2025. They were initially really helpful and did everything to try and sort the hearing aids out to work for me. Then when I decided to return them they agreed to a refund (verbally) but then told me the return date had gone beyond the 60 days (it hadn't - 51 days). After weeks of correspondence with the front man in the shop who just stone-walled me, I eventually got a Chargeback refund from my bank having started small claims procedure.

I had my hearing aids replaced through my insurance provider, and I was concerned the service might feel impersonal. It did not. The speed of response, the clinical confidence, and the consistent kindness throughout were exceptional.

Hearing World provides home visits with an audiologist, but I was travelling and could not wait for the next available slot. They arranged express delivery of the replacement hearing aids so I was not left without support.

At the follow-up review, the audiologist identified that my hearing had moderately deteriorated and that the initial pair were no longer the best fit. He initiated an exchange with the insurance company immediately and handled the process efficiently.

For the second fitting, I attended the Crouch End clinic. The assessment was thorough, adjustments were clearly explained, and I received a written report for my GP.

I cannot imagine better service.

Avoid this company. The experience of a relative is exactly as others giving one star. Superficial professionalism for a few weeks then no support or response to emails and texts. Returned hearing aids within the guarantee period were not refunded despite the assurances. Finally a Chargeback through the bank, and upheld by the company's bank, was credited some five months later. A Companies Registry search of The Hearing World reveals their website's declarations bears no resemblance to the state of their accounts and employee numbers.

Do not use this company !!!
It has been 5 months of constant phone calls , promising a refund , of £4000.
I don’t know how they sleep at night , ripping off an 89 year old person.
And looking at other reviews , they have done this to many others .
After speaking to citizens advice ,
I am now taking them to court , and will be contacting every consumer site , to try and get them investigated .
They should not be allowed to do this to elderly people . Causing them so much stress 😡

My husband purchased hearing aids which never fit properly. The service was awful and despite promising a full refund on numerous occasions we have still not had the money refunded. We will be taking them to court. Avoid the company.

Absolutly terrible.Took £2,200 cash of mum. Hearing aids she couldnt hear,knowing she was severely deaf, mustafa and a Mr newman brought a second pair. After several phone calls they said they would sort it, but they have completely ignored her. So now will be taking them to court to get the money back. Avoid at all cost,mickey mouse company.

I had been experiencing discomfort in my ear for a few days and called to book an appointment. Although they were fully booked, they went above and beyond to accommodate me the same day due to the pain I was in. The audiologist took the time to thoroughly examine my ears and successfully resolved the issue. I’m truly grateful for their care and professionalism. Highly recommended – 100%!

I was truly astounded by the level of service I received. From the moment I booked my appointment, everything was handled with professionalism and efficiency. I had an urgent issue, and they managed to fit me in on the same day due to a cancellation, which I greatly appreciated.

The reception team was knowledgeable and welcoming, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The audiologist was highly experienced and well-versed in all the latest hearing aid technologies available not just in London, but globally. He provided expert advice on the best hearing aids for my needs, explaining the different options in detail.

While I haven’t purchased hearing aids yet, I am seriously considering it. Having visited multiple providers, I found their prices to be very reasonable and competitive. Out of the four places I’ve been to, this one stands out the most, and I’ll likely go with them when I make my decision. Highly recommended

Lovely service and the staff were super friendly and provided excellent service.

I had to go to the small claims court to force them to give me the refund they had promised when my aids proved unsuitable. It pains me to give a bad review to such pleasant people, but I fear this business is best avoided. These were very expensive aids. There was one excuse after another, both for the adjustments to the aids that never happened and for the refund, which they insisted had left their account but hadn't. I got my money back in the end, less the court fee, but we can all really do without such hassles.

Lovely people but totally unreliable! Loads of appointments missed and I gave up in the end. Spent a lot of money and ended up with aids that did not work for me. Moved to a local person and they are now properly set and work OK. The Hearing World then agreed a 50% refund but never paid it despite numerous promises. A very expensive mistake! What a shame!
