Absolutely disappointing experience with both Aldi and The Gym Group Dartford. I have spent hours chasing them over inconsistent parking information—Gym Group claimed 2 hours, Aldi said 90 minutes—yet after all my efforts, both companies simply told me they couldn’t help.

The constant back-and-forth, lack of clear communication, and poor handling of my complaint have been incredibly frustrating. I have even contacted the CEOs of both organizations to raise my concerns, yet the process remains unresolved.

Due to this experience, I will not be returning to either establishment. Extremely dissatisfied.

Joined my local gym and could not get in due to error - “you do not have access to this gym”
It IS the location I joined so why can’t I get in?!!!
I’m only available at unmanned hours so completely couldn’t get in and won’t be able to any other night because nobody is around.
Absolutely useless gym group.

Unacceptable Service and Unauthorized Account Suspension

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service at The Gym Group. As a valued member of your gym, I expect to be treated with the respect and consideration that I believe is due to each of your customers. However, recent events have caused me to question the level of professionalism and customer service at your establishment.

On 04/11/23, I discovered that I was unable to access the gym facilities, despite having paid my membership fees in advance via direct debit. According to my bank statement, my payment for the period up to the 22nd of November 2023 has been duly processed, yet my account appears to have been unjustifiably disabled.

I am utterly disappointed by the inconvenience and frustration this has caused me. As a regular customer, I rely on the gym to maintain my fitness routine, and such disruptions are unacceptable. The situation is even more troubling as I have been paying for a service that I am currently unable to use.

I would like to request an immediate investigation into this matter and a prompt reinstatement of my gym membership. Furthermore, I expect a clear explanation for this unfortunate incident and assurance that such issues will not reoccur in the future.

I look forward to your timely resolution of this issue. If it remains unresolved, I would have no choice but to reconsider my membership at The Gym Group and look for alternatives that provide a reliable service.

Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have been coming to the dartford gym for a couple of years now and have so far recommended it to a few friends, i started taking my son who is now hooked which is great.
It's always clean and tidy, equipment is good and there's enough of it to around most of the time, the app is helpful In avoiding those really busy spells.
Staff are on hand most of time and very helpful also, especially jake Lewis whos help me out few times with tips on how to get the most out of your session, the fact that it's 24hours means there not to many excuses for not attending.
It does the job really well

Great AMRAP class on a Monday!

I recently enrolled on annual gym membership with special discount and I must say, it's been an incredible experience so far! The facilities are great, with loads of equipment and plenty of space to workout comfortably. The staff is always friendly and helpful, particulary Preeti,Mathew, Morgan, Holly who always makes me feel welcome and supported every time I visit and I thoroughly enjoyed the free classes which is a big bonus. The class coaches are extremely motivating and always ensure we doing the right technique. I really encourage everyone who is keen to join gym is the best as it also has pt sessions and lots of free advice and support. So far I my brother,wife sis in law really enjoyed the free bring a friend sessions which now has prompted them to actually take a yearly gym membership.

Love the classes, challenging but fun. Great instructors.

He was attentive to my personal circumstances as o have scolliosis and made sure that I was OK throughout the session. He also adapted certain exercises for me.

I do A LOT of Classes at The Gym Group, Dartford and I must say all of them do EXACTLY what you want them too! I regularly attend classes by Holly, Joseph, Matt, Morgan and now Preeti too. They all have their own teaching styles and ways that they deliver their classes BUT all have our well-being’s at heart and they push us to our limits and encourage us to go beyond because they actually care about our fitness journeys! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would ;)

Yogalates with Joseph was great. The classes are always varied and enjoyable!

Kettlebell class with Jake was harder than I thought it would be

Joe was once again a great help with my stretching, even letting me join in on his class just for some special leg stretches. I always learn something new with him. Great addition
