Wellness meets Relaxation
This was a Christmas gift which I booked for my self and my son. Dan was so helpful in guiding me to book a day of float therapy, Reiki and sound therapy. We felt immediately welcomed and very comfortable. The Reiki session with Carolina was absolutely amazing followed by float therapy which was fully explained as this was a totally new experience for us but definitely beneficial and relaxing. We had a wonderful chilled day and Dan was so helpful and friendly. We are definitely going back and I would highly recommend this beautiful sanctuary to anyone looking for holistic wellness.

Lovely facilities and a friendly welcome
The float therapy was bought for me as a gift and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was a little apprehensive at first but Dan explained everything clearly and answered all my questions so that I could relax into the experience. The facilities were lovely and I’d be very pleased to go back. Thank you!

Experience let down by staff and changing room
I was given the floatation as a gift. I have to say the 'Saturday girl' was pretty useless. Didn't explain much. I had to ask all the questions. She knew nothing about the choice of music that the pre arrival blurb mentioned. She didn't give me earplugs until I asked for them. Didn't explain how the shower worked so I gave myself an icy blast but when I worked it out the hottest setting wasn't very warm. I wasn't told it would feel slimy on the skin either so that was a shock.She didn't explain what to do with the earplugs afterwards and I couldn't see a bin so just left them. The changing room has no hooks for clothes and only a chair to put them on. Tiny mirror for doing your hair afterwards and you can't see if your clothes are neat when you leave. The actual floatation is a bit meh. Not for me and I won't go back. I didn't appreciate the request not to post negative comments on here but to resolve it through them. Only one chance to make a good first impression so that can't be resolved.

If you had approached us directly rather than leaving quite a nasty review about our daughter and business we could rectify things for you.
Unfortunately your language and how you describe our daughter is quite disgusting.
Part of float therapy is to go within - time to reflect. It generally provides us with insight into who and what we are - as it has done for me a lot of the time. Ie if i've felt anxious, that emotion will be quadrupled in the tank as a 'highlight' to me that's my 'feeling' state. It will then dissipate after that state had been acknowledged.
We are a family run business and pride ourselves on the fact we really care about our customers having a great experience. I'm proud of all of our team and the attention to detail they give to our customers. If you mentioned any of these comments to me personally i would have reassured you and then invited you back to try again free of charge.
I'll address each point;
*Grace does explain everything, i've heard her explain the process to our customers before and she covers everything which is 'need to know'.
*Part of the explanation of the tank covers the ear plugs in which we show you they're in the little basket.
*It's an electric shower. Dial for On/Off - Dial for temperature. Most people don't need an explanation for this but we will make sure we ask future guests if they need assistance with the shower.
*It's a sound proof room, unfortunately we cannot drill into walls as that loses the integrity of the soundproof. There is a coat stand in the room. There is also a coat hook before you go into the room.
*You're bathing in epsom salt, it leaves a residue when you bathe in it. It's then showered off. Epsom salt has numerous health benefits.
*The mirror is a typical 'head' size. Most heads fit within the mirror. I know this - because i have a large head...and my head fits into it.
We have full length mirrors outside of the room to check how neat your clothing is. You walk past these on the way into and out of the room.
*There is a bin in the room for ear plugs.
The whole point of float therapy is to reduce stress, quiet the mind, go within, reduce inflammation and stress on the body, fight illness and chronic fatigue.

I'm not sure words can describe just how wonderful and enlightening the whole experience was. I went to the Spiritual Awakening Retreat for 2 nights/3 days and I can honestly say, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's true what they say, if you're meant to be there, you will be and at the right time.
Firstly, Dan and Emma are just beautiful, incredible souls. Nothing is too much trouble whilst you're there and they truly make this experience feel luxurious. They're so visible, open and kind - you'll feel like you've met them before!
You may think the retreats are slightly pricey but honestly, it's SUCH good valuable for money when you think of everything that's included. It's truly worth the investment, because what you get out of it is priceless and it WILL change your life if you let it and continue your spiritual journey. They have such wonderful staff that they work with and you feel a connection with each member. They've definitely led the right people to them!
The retreat itself is a gorgeous property. Lovely clean rooms, appliances...living space. There's nothing more you could want!
Every workshop and each experience was perfectly done. I felt such a release and had such a genuinely wonderful experience that I didn't want to leave and reintegrate into society! But I know that what I've learnt will integrate into everyday life and I'm on a new enlightened path - and that's all down to Dan and Emma for creating the amazing creation that is Tranquil Waters!
I can't wait to be a regular returner - it feels like my soul was where it belonged.

Exceptional retreat
This was my first retreat and one I will never forget - a spiritual awakening at the time of the full moon. It was a really special few days. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional food, lovely people. Dan and Emma were excellent hosts - really genuine, kind and warm-hearted and Yasmin was the most amazing chef. I can't wait to go back again at some point in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

What an amazing place! Beautiful setting, so peaceful, wonderful staff and such calming interiors.

Floatation tank is amazing
Dan was really accommodating when I arrived, a very down to earth and friendly person. The floatation tank was amazing. I was a little nervous due to being claustrophic but Dan was reassuring and talked through everything beforehand. The venue has a beautiful and calm atmosphere. I felt so relaxed after the tank, it took me away from everything and I can't recommend enough. Refreshing and purifying

I was looked after so well. The bamboo massage I received was incredible and the float experience afterwards was wonderful. A massive thank you to both the ladies who looked after me and made me feel so alive and pampered. I will definitely be back.

Calm
From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed and at ease. The whole place has a wonderful vibe and a beautiful ambience from the lighting, music and the indoor waterfalls. Blissful.
Dan was my host. He was really lovely, easy to chat too and looked after me.
I visited for a float session.
I would recommend a float to anyone as its a lovely way to relax and find a sense of peace/calm.
I throughly enjoyed it and will be visiting again soon. xx

Well worth it
Having always wanted to try a sensory deprivation float I was bought this experience as a gift. On arrival the setting is beautiful and I was treated excellently by the staff. They explained what I needed to do and made the experience simple. My float experience was amazing and I came away very relaxed and the hour in the tank seemed to fly by. This is an experience I will definitely be repeating here again

A fabulous experience
A fabulous experience, really recommend it. Great facilities, really nice welcome and introduction to what to expect and they've created a really good vibe here. Calm, relaxing, friendly, just what you'd hope for.
Had a massage afterwards with Katy, and this was a sublime experience. She is highly skilled, intuitive, it was a really "deep" experience, I honestly can't praise her enough.

It's the first time I've tried a float…
It's the first time I've tried a float experience and I have to say it was wonderful. I can feel the effects of the salt water still the day after. Very relaxing and great to feel weightless.
The venue was gorgeous and the people were lovely. I'll definitely be going back.
