Finding ingredients to make your favourite dishes can be exhausting. Markets are packed, carrying heavy bags from going to the ethnic shops or giant wholesalers just don't have everything you need - prices are unstable and too high. Supermarkets and local shops don’t stock what you need and specialist stores prove to be overly expensive. At the Ethnic Pantry, we aim to solve this problem in a simple, dynamic, and refreshing way — stocking fresh ingredients and delivery straight to your door. Whether it’s Mirin, Fufu, or even fresh Tamarind you’re searching for at the Ethnic Pantry, we have you covered! The word Ethnic is synonymous with Nation. At the Ethnic Pantry, we believe that food brings both; people and nations together.

Good experience, could be better
As described, expiry date was in 5 months time which isn’t a big issue.
Box arrived damaged/open, took around 1 week to arrive.

Besvarelse fra Theethnicpantry
Thanks Mike for your feedback. We are working on ensuring our products have at least six month best before on them before dispatching. Look out for our new sturdier packaging coming out soon!

The experience was ok
The experience was ok, took quite a long time to dispatch the order by today's standards and one of the items wasn't what I ordered. I don't know if this was a substitute due to not having the original item or if it was simply packed wrong. Prices were reasonably at least compared to other sites.

Good selection of Asian/Oriental items
Good selection of Asian/Oriental items. Easy to order and notified all the way through until delivery. The Items arrived in good condition although the packaging could have been a little better as the items were loose inside the box and Royal Mail managed to crush the box. Overall highly recommended with good selection and reasonable prices.

Problematic Service
I liked that I received my package and the items I ordered. I did not like that I had to reach out and remind customer service of my order. I also did not like that I did not receive confirmation of dispatch until several days after that interaction. An order that should have taken a no more than 5-7 days to arrive took more than seven (7) days, without any communication of delays. If I did not initiate communication, I wonder if I would have gotten my order?.

I like and use a lot of Korean products…
I like and use a lot of Korean products and am always looking quality places to buy my regular items. I placed my order and was a small delay; however, the team were contact to keep me updated. A few days later I received my order and everything was perfect. The Ethnic Pantry is now my go to store and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a wide range of international products.
