The Curtain Shop Anmeldelser 

I ordered a “sidelight panel” curtain from this shop because I needed a size that I could not find on Amazon. Curtain was for my front door. One curtain, rods, and shipping came to $55, which is about three to four times what larger curtain sets cost on Amazon.

1. The fabric was extraordinarily low quality. Literally the quality you would find at a dollar store, and far below what you would find at any reputable retailer.
2. The set was supposed to come with a “tie back,” a kind of decorative sash. However, that was missing.
3. When I went to mount the brackets for the upper rod, I quickly learned that screws were of such poor quality that they began to disintegrate when using ordinary screwdriver bits. For reasons described below, I only mounted the upper rod brackets (4 screws) -- of those, I had to use a vice grip pair of pliers to insert two screws, the head of a third literally broke off, leaving the shaft in my door. (Another screw head broke off when I uninstalled.) Even on an absurdly overpriced order, they couldn’t even provide a few pennies worth of decent screws.
4. As I tried to slide a rod through the pocket at the bottom of the curtain, I learned that the stitching was crooked. As a result, the rod would not fit. I tried cutting a bit of the stitching to make the rod fit, but I would have had to cut out about half the length, which would have been noticeable.

According to the packing slip that came with the curtain, this outfit does not refund shipping charges (which was $9 of the $55 I was charged). The packing slip also makes a big deal about how everything needs to be in “perfect condition” before they will accept a return. Given that I had to cut the stitching and the screws are ruined, odds are that I will end up in some argument.

So, I can write them a letter, bicker with them, look for a box, pack up the curtain, take to the UPS Store/USPS, pay $10-12 for shipping, and hopefully get $46 back.

But time is money. I will already need to remove the curtain, extract the screws, fill the holes, sand & paint. Spending a couple of more hours and adding a lot of aggravation to possibly get a net $35 refund is just not worth it.

This is a “real review,” and I placed a “real order.” Order No. 60300 placed on July 9, 2023 for SKU 6410e and SKU 5026-2430.

Poor communication both by phone and or email. I called 3 times and left 3 messages for this consumer to call me back about my order. No returned messages. 4th call someone answers and said they never received any calls. Also, shopping states 1-2 business days on some items. Mine was still not shipped as of 1 week out. I canceled order and will not use this merchant.

Rods and rings came in a finish NOTHING like what was pictured. The rod was very long and the offer was to ship them back at my expense to be refinished. I had my own painter repaint the rod and brackets at my own expense and then they refused to take the rings back! I’m a designer who will NOT ever use this source again!! Very poor customer service!!

Walked me through the process of purchasing the curtains and rods, as well as how to properly size them. The curtains arrived sooner than expected. It was an incredible experience.

Got mine today and all I can say is that the curtains were all beautifully made. It suits my room perfectly. I'm gonna order again soon here.

I ordered some Brandenburg lace swags, after returning curtains from two other vendors because the quality was shabby and not as advertised.
The Curtain Shop swags were well-made, of good material, and reasonably priced - definitely looked like the picture! Customer service was excellent, and my order arrived in two days (another first).

Although the curtains, which arrived promptly, were exactly as described, I felt that, having seen them, I would prefer something more room-darkening, so I returned them and ordered a different set of curtains entirely. The shop handled the exchange quickly, pleasantly and smoothly, and the replacement curtains also arrived promptly. They have been entirely satisfactory.

I bought a door panel curtain. Several follow-up emails let me know the progress of my order, which arrived quickly. Curtain is really pretty and just as described.

The curtain rods were delivered quickly and packaged so well. They were exactly what I wanted and they worked perfectly!

i was looking for crochet lace curttains and came up on the curtain shop. i was so excited. there was no problem placing the order and getting them in a very fast time.i was looking for a swag to go with the curtains and they had it in the naatura color. after i talked to the shop, i found out the tier in natural was no longer available. i told the customer service attendent if she happpened up on one please get it for me. !!!!.this was the first time i have ordered from the curtain shop and i wll be checking in on them often. it was a pleasant experience. .

The Curtain Shop is a great find! First of all I got samples quickly.
The tool to custom order on the site was really efficient to build and price but I had some questions. By calling the contact number I was able to talk to a knowledgeable who answered questions and made suggestions.
Competitive pricing too.
Bottom line, we got the order in a short amount of time and it exceeded our
expectations. The drapes came folded and bound in a way that we were able to hang them with no need to iron or steam.
