Appallingly complicated process to open…
Appallingly complicated process to open an account.
It took more than a week for the welcome pack to arrive, I sent the signature form back and since then nothing.
I tried logging in but had to create security details for a second time before it would allow me in.
There is no information in the welcome pack about how to pay in, I used the sort code and account number I logged in with ticking the 'business' box
but Lloyds informs me that it is not a valid account and my money is at risk.
Spoke to customer support who said that when making the payment I should NOT check the 'is this a business' box and enter my name as this is a private account. But when I do that I get exactly the same result.

Horrible holiday horror
On booking a holiday with Expedia, I entered the details of my Tesco Bank credit card into the system to suddenly be billed a large amount of money that didn't correspond with anything in the booking.
Tesco Bank's chatbot was just useless.
I managed to speak to a person but he couldn't see enough of the information on his system and through no fault of his own, could not help me and asked me to try again the next day, as it was very late by then.
We could not sleep that night.
I phoned again the next day to discover that the transaction had disappeared, the assistant could not see it being done then undone, and was as baffled as we were.
In was probably Expedia at fault, but it's easier for me to walk to the moon than find one of their people to talk to.
