Excellent experience. We had a bowling with burger and then karaoke session birthday party.
Staff ensured all flowed easily and the party was a success.

Great bowling facilities
Great bowling facilities, smooth bowling lanes, great variety of bowling balls.
Toilet facilities are very clean and don’t smell!
Fantastic range of food & drink options & great bowling & meal/drink deals!
Fun arcade machines & lots of them, pool tables, escape rooms, laser tag and more, this place has everything for all ages.

We had fun but music v loud.
Prompt check in, friendly staff, clean venue.
We were welcomed and the set up explained. Offer to add names and side bars etc and told how to order drinks and food.
Lighting was good and we had great fun. The range of bowling balls available was good and they were also clean.
The music was too loud and you couldn’t have a conversation, so that was a shame.
We were also plonked right next to a small child bowling party. There were 6-8 year olds constantly running across us as we bowled, sitting on our side having a sulk and we had to be super careful not to clout them as we bowled. This did severely impact our enjoyment. Perhaps keep parties for one section and non parties away from them??? Or parents could control their children better!

All staff are fantastic. The host at reception to the bar staff. Very friendly. Facilities are second to non. I rate tenpin over hollywood bowl all day long. See you soon

Had a great time with our 3 year old
Had a great time with our 3 year old, they loved the arcades and we were at Tenpin for much longer than expected with all the activities bowling and lunch!
There was quite a long wait for lunch and not very many people sitting in the seated area and ordering relatively early - would have been good to get a heads up. Also all the lanes were grouped and mostly children due to school holidays/xmas so sharing the ramp between 2 lanes (3 at one point) slowed the game down quite a bit between 4-7 children in total needing it and waiting.

Karaoke
We booked one of the karaoke rooms for a group of friends.
Despite a slight delay in starting our session the time we didn’t lose any time as the timed session started when we were in the room.
All the facilities were clean and service was good despite the venue being so busy.
So much to do in this venue. We would go again.

NO waiting which is so important ehen…
NO waiting which is so important when we visit due to having a specials needs young man with us.
But the game then stopped ,think the bowling ball got stuck ,noone was there to help quick enough before we were going to have to leave due to a melt down.
Was ok in the end think one or two staff members need to be for bowling only.
But overall ,Good.

Bowling was fine but you could do with a sign at the bar - queue here to order collect other end. I waited at the bar like in a pub and staff kept walking past only when I saw them serving people at the other end who arrived after me did it click - better signage

Bowling and customer service was great
Bowling and customer service was great, but the food. I ordered a large chips, nothing about it was large or warm. So we sent them back, only for them to come back cold. The lady on the desk told me they were fresh as she watched them being put in the basket. They must have been left at least 10 mins before being brought out if that was the case.
Also I must say the Doorman was courteous and polite, but any establishment or worse the tin pot security company they use who allow any licensed premises to have just one person on duty with no back up should get out of the industry quickly. You’re exactly the reason why the security industry has gone downhill. No reputable company would allow the staff to work like that.

Trying to book on line for a disabled person is impossible. The stroppy member of staff telling me she had to move everything around because I with someone in a child in a wheel chair.was not enjoyable. No one around to ask for help when needed

The actual Bowling was great however the lack of staff means long queues as the same person has to do the bar/reception bit and the ticket exchange. Would have given 5 stars if adequate staffing

Needs were met
I had asked if we could have a certain area as my son struggles with crowds because of his autism and your staff member didn't even bat an eye and made the experience so easy and stress free which was really appreciated.

Eat and play experience
I booked the eat and play. When booking in, the receptionist asked if I would like to eat at the alley or after the game to which my boy wanted to have it at the alley. We didn’t receive the meal at the alley and so I booked another game via someone different in the hope we get the meal whilst playing that game. The receptionist only booked us on for half a game. My boy was left disappointed having only played half and not getting the meal at the alley. We then went to reception and told them we hadn’t received the food and that we will now be waiting in the restaurant part. She went to inform the kitchen staff to change it. We were still sat for another 20 minutes before someone came up to me to question what I ordered as he was told 🍕 pizza, which was wrong. Once corrected it was a further 10 minutes before getting it.

Don’t expect much
Slow at tills & big queue. Then got to lane and had to ask someone to set it up as they hadn’t set it ready for us to start. Pizza was the worst pizza Iv ever had, so little cheese and way too much red sauce. Bad attitude of pink hair lady at bar when saying the beer ordered was flat. Some of the bowling balls had big dents/chips in them. If we didn’t get a deal then it wouldn’t have been worth the money. Do not pay full price for this!

Communication!!!
Was told we had to wait for lane we had booked, queued again after time specified to be told we were late and it’s been ready since 3. It felt like we had to rush as they neede the lane an hr later and with an autistic child that is not going to be easy.

The seating area was dirty, pizza boxes and drinks still left there and it was 11 in the morning and as it was my sons bday I was very disappointed
