They make all of their libraries SO difficult to use. Where you might have a simple property in someone else's control they bury in events. Their licensing system is a nightmare. I hate their tools with a passion. If it were up to me I would rip it all out and replace with some other UI library.

I've been using Telerik UI Controls for a number of years now and not only are the controls themselves extremely capable and feature rich, but their support is second to none.

I have contacted them a number of times with tricky support questions and every time they give me a working solution within 24 hours.

Their tech support people know their product inside out.

Sono stato da progress ho comprato un mobile a tre ante, già montando i vari supporti di ritenzione il legno si iniziava rompere, finito di montarlo il tempo di metterlo in posizione si è rotto ed è caduto a pezzi, si trattava sicuramente di un pezzo difettoso, il personale gentilissimo subito a provveduto alla sostituzione del mobile

Vado da Progress da tantissimi anni..trovo sempre quello che mi occorre..i dipendenti di reparto sempre disponibili e preparati a consigliarti x il meglio..ottimo assortimento in tutti settori..5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐meritate

The good:
+ Great quality Blazor, React, MVC and WebForm components
+ Outstanding performance of UI components
+ Amazing support

The bad:
- Document Processing for PDF component lacks many features compared to PDF components from other vendors (ie file attachments) and generated PDFs are GIGANTIC in size. We had to replace Telerik's PDF component with the PDF component from Syncfusion.

Works perfectly fine, great documentation, great controls, fast support.

Pros:
- lots of components (however most of them is just same or worse than free components available for web application (.net core / JS)
- good grid component (table)
- good scheduler

Cons:
- extremely inconsistent (API/documentation is ALL OVER the place, there is no way that I would let mid/junior level developer to work on this)
- most of components is worse than free components available on MIT license
- many important components are missing
- there are big issues in how you can load/reload/init those components for ajax/.net views
- did I've mentioned inconsistent API ? (methods/names/functions/behaviour/interaction/init)

In general I am not sure who would use it, based on the fact that we have used only scheduler/grid (pdf exporter IS AWFUL, it is the worst exporter that I have ever seen, hardly useful for any case) we probably should have write own wrapper or go ahead and buy another component library.

Their charts are a joke, awful and more like 2000's charts than what you GET FOR FREE from big chart libraries available online.

Their support is a joke (we have a premium one, but they always hitting 24h response and often their response is USELESS as they link documentation that in a first place was the issue).

In general I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY COMPANY.

If you are an amateur that wants to quickly get few components off them to do your app for your master degree, then well maybe (if you are ok with the cost).

If you are working in a company that either has more than 3 devs or wants to cut the costs then look further.

Telerik only costed us huge amount of money in dev costs, wasted discovery phase etc. In general we've wasted 6 months worth hundreds of thousands dollars and we are removing almost all components (the new devs are always having same issues as we had in a first place).

Am right testing Telerik with Visual Studio. It has nice colors and cool UX. I am not absolutely convinced of the idea and advantage of Telerik! Will it speed up my projects or will I lose time with practicing. My developing environment will only include enterprise extensions that make the usage simple and which reduce developing time. Maybe they need some explanation marketing videos..

Quick and to the point response.

I don't think you can find better value for your money. We bought the WPF package for two key components but ended up using dozens. Overall it was critical in allowing us to finish our project on time and on budget.

I understand that this was a webinar and not a workshop, but would have liked more concrete examples of the process to take, questions to ask and examples of how it is done

The bug was in .NET, not on their end, and the support was very helpful.

As a custom IoT hardware & software solutions company we have a lot of experience in developing hardware circuits and C-programming on MCU level.
In order to develop our cloud based application server to handle IoT data and functionalities like automated actions, command scheduling, charting statistics, configuration and more we selected Python, Flask, Nginx and Kendo UI jQuery. The Kendo library helped us significantly in order to achieve our goals to provide a modern and intuitive graphical interface and this during a short development cycle. Really a game changer for us.

I am so excited to use with my .NET core platform. Custom buttons, Modal pop ups and issues with partial views inside Modal. May be I am bit hurry with my application due to dead lines, but I highly appreciate the support teams timely help. Some suggested help topics are not at the help with .NET CORE 3.1, I may be wrong, that's my experience.
I would like to see quick response times (6hrs is opt in my opinion, yeah, I understand that it's 24 hrs for my purchase though! ), will help developers who is spending time on same issue without reaching anywhere.

I am concerned about the ability to manipulate other languages, aka globalization. (★★)

Technical support is excellent (★★★★★)
Errors in components (bugs) should be resolved soon, we customers depend on it, otherwise we will have to look for another way to solve, with another component. (★★★)
