My 6-year old has been swimming with Wilkerson in Kew. Highly recommended!

My son and daughter have both had lessons with Yurii, and they have showed so much progress in their swimming and confidence. Yurii is great with them both, he always balances being firm and teaching them with making sure they are enjoying their lessons and come back the following week with enthusiasm. We are all really happy with the Swimway experience and would really recommend to anyone!

My son has been swimming with SwimWay since he was 6 months old. He has already completed several terms of lessons with his instructor, Tanya, who is absolutely amazing. She is incredibly patient and has built a wonderful rapport with my little boy. We’re very grateful for her guidance and support.

Thank you so much Tanya for all your efforts with teaching our daughter to swim! To think that she was afraid of getting wet, and is now swimming a good lap of front crawl with coordinated breathing, is incredible. It's extremely valuable to have 1:1 lessons with an instructor who can tailor the lesson perfectly for the child's level and challenge them appropriately. We are super thankful and would highly recommend.

I have been using SwimWay for 3 years and have been very impressed. My twin boys started at 3.5yrs and have been swimming since age 4, are confident in the water and thoroughly enjoy going to their lessons each week.
All the teachers we have had have been lovely and have been calm and patient with my kids.
It’s also a lovely pool, easy location to park at.

Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds after her classes with Yurii. Swimway in Balham is the best teaching pool around and the coaches are brilliant. Would thoroughly recommend.

Chris was the teacher for my 5 month old. He is very knowledgeable and gentle. Brilliant experience! The pool in Wimbledon is very clean and perfect for lessons with a little one.

We have been swimming with instructor chris for the past 2 years and would never want to go anywhere else! Chris is calm, patient and kind, very knowledgeable and always lets the babies learn at their own pace. He totally understands some days the babies just aren't feeling it, and encourages positive play instead. I cant cope with public pools, so finding a beautiful private pool with clean quiet changing rooms and 1-2 other babies in the class has been absolutely amazing! Swimway will always be our first choice, thank you for 2 lovely years of lessons, we look forward to many more! Xenia & Finn xx

We’ve had an amazing experience with SwimWay and especially with our son's swimming teacher, Chris. Our 6-month-old was initially showing signs of being afraid of the water, and we were a bit anxious about how he would adapt. However, from the very first lesson, Chris made a huge difference.

Chris is incredibly calm, gentle, and clearly very experienced with babies. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and it shows in how quickly our little one began to feel comfortable. After just two lessons, we saw a noticeable change—our baby was more relaxed and even started to enjoy his time in the water!

What really stood out to us is how Chris involves the parents. He explains what each activity is for and what he’s aiming to achieve, which really helped us understand the process and feel confident as well.

Chris is an amazing teacher, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with SwimWay. Highly recommended!

My son has been attending SwimWay for a year now, and his progress has been truly impressive. The group lessons have been especially helpful—offering both an affordable option and an effective learning environment. While I initially felt things were moving slowly, I’ve come to realize that each semester brings steady and meaningful improvement.
Much of this progress is thanks to Dovile, who strikes a wonderful balance between professionalism and care. Teaching young children to swim requires patience, skill, and a touch of fun—and she manages all three beautifully. Her encouragement and approach made all the difference, especially when my son needed that extra confidence.
Thanks to Dovile and the SwimWay team, my son is a happy, improving little boy in the water—and, most importantly, he now truly enjoys the experience.

My daughter started her lessons with Chiara (Padelli) when she was just about 2 years old and since then she has been more and more confident in the water. Chiara’s gentle approach is great even for kids (like my daughter) that are not instinctively confident around water. My daughter loves going to the swimming pool and we just booked another term! I only wish we started earlier!!

We cannot thank Piers enough for his incredible support and patience with our daughter, Charlotte. As a complete beginner at just 3.5 years old, she initially found swimming to be quite challenging. However, with Piers' expert guidance, Charlotte has made remarkable progress.

Piers has a unique ability to connect with young children, and his calm demeanor helps even the most challenging days run smoothly. Charlotte can be a handful at times, but Piers consistently manages to engage her and keep her motivated.

We are so grateful for his dedication and encouragement. It's a joy to see Charlotte grow in confidence and skill with every lesson. Highly recommend Piers to any parents looking for a fantastic swimming instructor!

Jordana is an incredible teacher I started when my boy was 3 months he is 1 now and we have loved our weekly sessions with JoJo. She is such a warm and welcoming person. She has given both my husband and I the confidence to handle our son in the water. And at just 1 my boy has such amazing skills in the water. I would recommend Jordana very highly, her lessons are so valuable for young babies.

My sons (aged 8 and 10) have been attending swimming classes with Piers at Sheen Mount. The younger one couldn’t swim independently before joining the classes. He has come a confident swimmer after only one term with Piers, which really surprised me! The elder one has also significantly improved his swimming skills. The classes are well structured and fun. The children like Piers very much!

Piers is the most amazing teacher. My son had a very tough first lesson with Swimway and they were proactive in getting us sorted out and then went to Piers. He gave my son security and confidence and he has come on leaps and bounds. I cannot recommend him enough!

Our daughter has been attending the toddlers swim class with Jordana (JoJo) in Clapham. Her style of teaching is both fun and informative from a technical perspective. She is good at giving students (& parents) confidence to perform actions (such as full head submersion for the children) that might otherwise feel challenging. Her classes are well structured and engaging. She is clearly very passionate about teaching young children basic water skills which we hope will set our child in good stead for more advanced swimming classes further down the line.

Gabor(Gabriel) is teaching our daughter for 2 years now and he is the best. My daughter now swims beautifully and fast hope one day she wins a medal next term again hopefully

Chris at Swimway has been absolutely amazing with our daughter. She started learning with him 1-1 when she was 3 years old and has now progressed to a group lesson (1-2). He is very good at making young children build their confidence in the water in a funny and engaging way, whilst teaching them how to swim. We would highly recommend him!
