SupaGlazing started as a family business in 1981, which has expanded tremendously over the last 37 years. The reason for this is the high quality products supplied together with good quick service and ethical trading – our customers don’t have to wait weeks and weeks for their windows etc. We are well known for our speedy delivery usually 2 – 3 weeks from a firm order. Our factory is situated at Strood and customers are welcome to visit and look around. We also have 3 showrooms situated around Kent.

Repeat leak & door locking mechanism problem

December 2020: A leaking conservatory roof and this is in the same place as a previous in mid-summer 2020. Supaglazing fixed the original leak with a paint type waterproof sealer. I was not happy with that but had enough of chasing them therefore accepted that in the hope it would not leak again. Then the leak appeared again in December 2020. After many phone calls/emails from me, I got rudeness from 2 staff before they agreed to visit couple of days before Christmas. We had to cancel due to suspected Covid & advised Supglazing accordingly and an appointment was agreed for 13/01/2021 to investigate & repair conservatory leak and ongoing
double door locking problem.

13th January 2021 a Supaglazing gent came out to look at and fix leak and replace double door lock. He was given the wrong locking mechanism and that was not his fault. He looked at the leak and said he could see the problem but could not fix as it was raining as he would need to redo the sealer and dry weather required and he would update his manager.

Again I had to chase/phone and email Supaglazing several times to get them to re-visit on the
5th February 2021

5th February 2021: Supaglazing staff arrived lot earlier than agreed therefore I could not go to the property at that time. They were aware I do not live at the property. They fitted the lock mechanism and this is very stiff & needs to be resolved. They did not fix the leak as the staff cited they were not advised about the leak & so could not fix it.

As usual, no update/contact from Supaglazing, I therefore made a few calls to Supaglazing & was always advised someone will call back but never did.

10th February 2021: As I got no update/ response from them, I had no choice & sent standard consumer rights letter. The email and letter
gave them 14 days to resolve leak and lock. (I confirmed via phone call on the same day that my email was received) Today is the 14th day (23/02/2021) and not had a whisper from them. I will wait until close close of business as it is the 14th day today.

If I'm not contacted by tomorrow I will have to get repaired myself and already spent a lot of time doing my research to get a quotes from credible repair experts and quotes all costing me stress, worry, time. The property is still being damaged by the rain leak.

I will certainly update this review in fairness to all.

As it stands I would never, never ever use this company again as they have made me ill with worry and stress.

NB: I can relate to the vast majority of negative reviews here.

Note, the positive reviews, many have been "invited." I've been with Trustpilot for years and never before had to leave a review like this.

Regarding FENSA. Be advised that conservatories, are NOT Covered By FENSA.

As far as I can tell, they belong to no organisation that can act as a mediator re conservatories when things go wrong, so you are on your own.

The 10 year Insurance policy they offer is only good if they/Supaglazing go insolvent otherwise it is no use to you.

I just wished I'd read the reviews on this and another site.

I promise to update as appropriate.

24th February 2021 UPDATE as promised. I noted late last night a voice message left just after 4pm from Supglazing staff. They have offered us and appointment on the 17th March 2021 in the morning. This is almost 6 weeks since they last visited. I'm not happy with this delay as the property is subject to more damage. However, I have to accept otherwise I'd invalid the years of warranty remaining on this conservatory as advised by them if I was to source an independent repair.

Update: Supglazing got in touch with me and came out 2nd March 2021. The staff member (Gents Name Removed By Reviewer) had a look and fixed the lock. He also confirmed leak to the conservatory roof but would need to re-visit 08/03/2021) to repair roof as may not be able to finish that day. I was happy with that.
8th March, the same gent (Gents Name Removed By Reviewer) revisited and did what he needed to do. I was happy with this gent's intervention. We are both aware that there is always a small chance that the conservatory may leak again
due to the nature of leaks. It has not rained since this repair made yesterday and the test will come when it does, I am happy with the way this gent has dealt with the situation during the two visits and recent communications by him.
I will update again re repair if required.

Update: 19/05/2021: Very odd, email received from Trustpilot today asking me to remove "name." It is very odd as I only used the name in the context of praising this member of staff. No big deal I have removed name. I wonder why this request was received weeks after I last updated the review.

Update 25 May Re repair carried out on 8 March by their member of staff, happy to report no further leaks thanks to the staff/gent that did the repair.

George the Supa Star

SupaGlazing replaced all the windows in my property and I couldn't be happier. I dealt with George as he was highly recommended by a colleague. He came round to give me a quote within a couple of days of calling him and there was definitely no hard sell. I agreed to go ahead and George sent his surveyor round two days later to measure up. The windows were installed a couple of weeks after my initial quotation.
I would highly recommend SupaGlazing, very reasonably priced, great customer service, prompt and the fitters were very polite and left the house clean and tidy.

Looking for a new way to burn money

Awful awful all round. 1st time round fitted the wrong door. Second time still the wrong door but still insisting they did not. Still do not have numbers or a soy hole. My disabled husband is tripping over as the door is not what we asked for. We now have to try and save the money for the door we need. All correspondence is ignored. Spoken to rudely over the phone.

Big thankyou

Arrived on time .Ricky and Luke ask what I wanted and then just got on with it. no hassle. Abbie had head office was also helful. Third time using Supaglazing which speaks for itself and 10 years garantee gives you peace of mind as well

Good installers let down by office staff

Had an issue with our windows after a year. Office staff were unhelpful and rude, and even called me up and swore at me after leaving a negative review!

Luckily the owner apologised and a couple of very professional guys came out and fixed the issues.

If this company can fix its office personnel issues I'd definitely consider using them again, but right now especially one office staff member are not what I'd expect from any B2C organisation.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company, they are cheap for a reason.
Actual installation was shoddy, little clearing up and left damage.
After sales was unreliable and ignored damage raised.
Pay a little extra and get better quality and vastly better professionality.

First class products

First class products, well made to an extremely high standard, the fitters have made a superb job of installing my mothers doors, the finish of the insulation should be the yardstick for all double glazing companies

Love our windows and doors

Our rep was a great help and explained everything to us very clearly! Our house was bought in the 80s and had its windows and doors since then, so this was a big first time purchase for us! The window fitters were great too and got on straight away letting us know where they were up to. Unfortunately we had a few mishaps (the wrong back door installed albeit we prefer this now, a glass panel put in upside down - this was rectified when they came back to fit the door). We were also not told that our door would be on a different day until I called up. There was little correspondence with the office unless they were after payment so I had to call a few times myself with queries regarding the mentioned mishaps. All in all though we are extremely happy with the fitting and look of our new windows and doors - thank you!

Helpful

All of the people that i either spoke to on the phone or in person were very polite
The only issue was the servayer said it would take a couple of hrs bit the fitter actually took just under 6 but he was on his own where he normally has a mate with him

Last of the Windows

Just had the last two windows replaced in our property.
The dealings with Supaglazing could not be faulted. They are quick and efficient from Mike’s initial visit and John for the survey. Then Dave and Martin doing the fitting today in the immense heat but they were meticulous and very tidy. Hardly knew they were there.
Good job guys. Next job the conservatory 😀

A Great Experience.

It was a great experience. The team arrived on time. Did an excellent job. Everything was clean and tidy when they had finished. The men were excellent, they knew their product and did the work in a professional manner. They were a credit to your company. I would have no problem in recommending SupaGlazing Ltd to anyone.

Excellent price and service

Supaglazing gave us an unbeatable price and a fantastic service. Their fitters were fast, neat and tidy and kept us in the loop with any issues. They had a problem with one of our windows that meant having unavoidable damage to the plaster work. They kept me updated throughout, and within half an hour I had a call from someone arranging a plasterer to come out to correct it a couple of days later. Excellent service and would definitely recommend.
