I’m out in Magaluf now with Summer Takeover and life is good,I signed up for a 1 months package then going to plan to stay longer till the end of the season, currently working as a barman at Alex’s bar. The staff are very friendly and I thank the summer takeover rep Olivia for sorting me out the job.

Went out to work in Ayia Napa with summer takeover this summer had the most amazing experience, the reps looked after me every step of the way!! Met friends for life and would honestly recommend doing this to everyone.

Iv signed up to do a summer season in Magaluf next year after going there on holiday in June as I loved the resort,I made friends with a few of the workers there and they explained how they did it. The Summer Takeover rep Matt has been really helpful answering all my questions and I’m getting to know others that have signed up aswel in the group chats,I’m nervous but I think more excited. Do not book with this company or any company they sell you a dream don’t help you with nothing the accommodation they promise you isn’t even in living conditions but then other people was in nicer accommodations because they was staying for longer me and my girlfriend paid €200 for bed sheets bills and deposit didn’t get any of it back not even the deposit none of the reps was helpful either the main rep amo just rips everyone off and acts like he’s family when confronting the rep amo about the €200 they stole of us and the extra €300 for wristbands which we was told we would get discounted drinks etc because we needed the money for our accommodation he told us he doesn’t deal with any of the deposits or anything that we need to contact to the boss David when contacting the bosses we was then told that amo dealt with all the deposits and it was down to him to give everyone there deposits back so he was just basically robbing everyone and nothing was done about it also all the company’s work today workers family ace there wasn’t even any reps there from summer takeover so unorganised don’t be fooled we also left 10 days early because of the awful experience we had

I am the Pr manager out in Magaluf for Alex’s Bars and we have been recruiting staff through Summer Takeover for 10 years now. We hold recruitment days with their reps Liv & Robbie to see which jobs the Summer Takeover recruits are interested in doing. We rely on ST providing us with staff for the summer season and look forward to summer 2026 to meet more new recruits.

Currently out working in Magaluf with Summer Takeover and really enjoying it waking up in the sun spending my days with new friends in the daytime down the beach then working evenings as a waitress. Thank you to Liv the Summer Takeover rep she made the whole process very easy without any worries xx

Can only say good things about this company! Was my son’s first time working abroad and we had lots of questions and reservations. The team at Summer Takeover were fantastic though! Everything was well organised and the communication was transparent and quick- he’s had the best summer of his life-

Made friends for life in Magaluf this summer, had the best experience and Liv was a great rep. I just went to party but all my friends found jobs easily too which they loved!

Corrie was very helpful during my experience, the package week was amazing and was worth all the money I paid

My daughter paid the £1 deposit for the Zante opportunity and within 2 hours we discovered the terrible reviews for this company and have cancelled. They are trying to take £49 out for what they call admin fees which is extortionate. Warning to others do not engage with this company. Shocking

Corrie was class from the moment he picked us up from the airpot, the welshys constantly grafting and loves working out here would defo recommend keeping him with you guys.

Spent 2 weeks in Zante with Summer Takeover- if you are looking for the ultimate Greek party island, this is for you!! Nonstop party, adventures, and good vibes. Reps Molly, Mikey, and Mason were amazing. They were attentive, supportive and always there when you needed them!!

I came out with summer takeover and my reps Molly and Kaela were nothing but helpful and a joy to be around they were at my back and calling whenever I needed them they are an asset to the company

I just got back from a month in Magaluf with Summer Takeover. The reps Olivia,Robbie and Ryan were really helpful and supportive. Helped me settle in on my first week and then got me placed into work with bar work. Gutted to have got back home now but will definitely going back next summer xx

When I needed a job they all helped me get a job and also helped me when I needed further accommodation
I will definitely be coming back out with summer takeover again next year!

This doesn’t even deserve a star , whole things a scam , you pay £650 and aren’t guaranteed the nice place they say you are and others pay the same price and get to stay in a much better place then others , we had multiple different bugs in our room every day , mould in the fridge , room was just a mess overall , they really sell you a dream , we paid a £200 package for a events and most of them didn’t happen , we we’re promised workers discount and we didn’t get it once , mikey n mason are the only useful reps , there’s one that’s only out for one thing and that’s to sleep with the girls and if he knows he can’t he won’t speak to you , he’s also been accused of rape , he’s jus a weirdo in general and all the reps know about it , they’re ashamed off him, some girls went home he was making them that uncomfortable , we only found out it was illegal for us to work there when we got there , they’d have happily let you get locked up they couldn’t care less , the whole thing wasn’t what they was marketing at all and you’d have to go to find out how bad it actually is , we’ve been home a day and they’re trying to fine us for something we didn’t do , we tried to warn the reps there was a problem and they didn’t do nothing about it

Went to Zante through summer takeover.
Although everyone is friendly and nice, all the packages and benefits you are promised are simply not true. You are promised workers priced drinks, free events, help getting jobs and nice accommodation.
The jobs you get you have to get yourself it is very impossible to get a decent paid job (more than €30 a shift) if you are not english as we are not apart of the EU which you find out yourself once there.
On arrival we paid €200 - €150 for the so called package that actually doesn’t get you anything other than free entry two two events which would work out cheaper if you just paid at the door. Drinks are still the same price and there pool party’s ect are just simply music around a hotel pool.
The €50 deposit you also just do not get back they say you will then say you don’t before you leave.
On arrival we was told if we wanted to extend our stay an extra month it would be €300, just a week before the new month it had been doubled meaning many went home as had only put aside certain amount of money.
The accommodation it’s self is awful, no cooking facilities, no cleaners, no pools at majority of there venues and no AC without an extortionate charge that simply isn’t worth it.
The reps genuinely are really nice mikey and mason especially do want to help you and I think they do resonate with the the fact realistically we’re all getting mugged of. A lot of the other reps have got one thing in mind though they have one rule which is they cannot sleep with the workers for the first week of our stay so they all call dibs ect and it just isn’t very professional and almost makes you want to not talk to them incase they take it the wrong way.
You very much could book your flight and find accommodation for the season and message places to work before you go out there- I believe this would be more stable and massively cheaper!
I actually came home early due to the poor accommodation and the filthiest of it all everyone was covered in bites not just from mosquitoes as the rooms where so dirty from the get go.
And for what you pay including the extra €200 they spring on you it’s nearly £1000 it could most definitely be done cheaper and if anything more effectively!

Hi I recently was enquiring to many of the different working holiday company’s and came across Summer Takeover. As listed on their website you can secure your place for £1. This is a scam and extremely misleading and this automatically enters you into a direct debit of £950 with a £49 cancellation fee. I have contact summer takeover to cancel this as I was just enquiring not 100% about my booking. All they could offer was a reduced amendment fee. They stated they could not refund or cancel the £49 and this “covers the deposit paid on the accommodation and they don’t get that back” complete lies as I hadn’t even paid the £49 myself so clearly no accommodation had been paid for yet. Company is a scam upon looking them up I have seen countless bad reviews and would never go ahead with the working holiday with them after taking a deeper look into the company. Seen on previous reviews that this was refunded to others but they would not cancel for me. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS £1 SCAM.
