UGH, never again
Unfortunately, they have been moving warehouses for over 1 yr. I use to shop on a regular basis for years, never had a issue, until the beginning of last year. I think they have changed the manufacturing and shipping to China, which unfortunely takes a long time to receive. My last bathing that I ordered, I called my CC company and did a chargeback. Never will I buy from them again. They have sent me credits, however they can send me 10 discounts and no longer interested. They lie.

Absolutely appalling customer service! I ordered 10 days ago and it hasn’t even shipped yet. Going away tomorrow with no swimsuit. Their response when I tried to cancel : I see that you placed your order on 4/5 with International Express shipping. As noted on our Global FAQ, orders placed with International Express shipping can take up to 6 business days in transit after up to 14 business days of processing time due to our current warehouse move.
I did check in with our fulfillment center and your order is in a state in which it cannot be cancelled. As stated in our FAQ, we are not able to adjust or cancel orders once they have been placed.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number! Our fingers are crossed that this gorgeous Ruffle Backflip makes it to you in time!

Held my money for weeks with no product and no response
This has been an extremely disappointing experience with Summersalt.
They received my return on March 10, 2026 and confirmed that my exchange order was processed. Weeks later, the order still has not shipped. I was given a vague explanation about a “warehouse transition,” but no timeline, no updates, and no accountability.
I followed up multiple times and have now been completely ignored.
At this point, Summersalt is holding my money without providing the exchanged items or even basic communication about when I will receive them. This is not a minor delay. It is a failure to fulfill an order and a failure in customer service.
Buyers should be aware that if something goes wrong with your order, you may be left waiting indefinitely with no response.
Nightmare customer service
Nightmare customer service. 4 of my 5 items totaling over $400 were received 37 days after my order (despite paying for expedited shipping) and one was never received. Customer service was abysmal and did not respond within reported timeframes.
I ordered a swimsuit more than 2 weeks…
I ordered a swimsuit more than 2 weeks ago, my credit card was charged right away but I still haven’t received shipping information. I have tried contacting them twice and have not received any responses. There is no phone number to call. I really wanted the swimsuit to wear for my baby’s swim class. Now I am out$220 and still have to go and find a new swimsuit. Please avoid them!

Do not order from this company. I wish I had researched here and BBB (not certified). I made an order 3/22/26 and was charged almost immediately, however it has never shipped. I have tried multiple times through email and even private message via Instagram to get a refund and am ignored. They do not have a phone number to contact only an email that rarely is answered. I believe I will just be out $135 and have to chalk this up to a learning opportunity. However, please learn from my failure. They give small businesses a bad name.

I wish I had checked this before ordering. I had been eyeing this brand for years and finally made a purchase. I ordered two weeks ago, have reached out four times regarding shipping info and nothing. Will fight the charge with Shopify. Not sure what happened with this company but it seems they are no longer in business but still have a website operating.

I am a returning customer and love the suits. Ordered 2 for this season, a month ago and they have still not sent them. I have emailed customer support 3 times, NO response to date. I notice their social media accounts no longer allow comments. Seems like a very bad situation, no confidence I’ll get my suits or my money back. BEWARE!

STAY AWAY from this company. I made purchases in the past that went ok, but not any more. I purchased March 16th, was told they were moving warehouse and it could take up to 14 business days to process and fulfil the order. We’re over 14 days, much like other reviewer experiences, no update and no shipping information. Having to dispute through my credit card. Summer salt is the perfect example of poor customer service. Not even sure they intend to deliver the order at this point.

Order was not shipped 9 days after i place it to top it off they don't have phone number to be contacted and to email they will respond with in 4 business days??

Update as of April 8: (30 days from order date of March 9): no update from Summersalt on expected ship date, and my order has not shipped although they charged my card on March 10! (what happened to credit card rules of "charge when ship"??!!!). I was considering asking them if they are aware of the FTC's requirement to timely ship according to ship estimate or within 30 days if no estimate, but I don't want them to just cancel my order. This is just trust-destroying behavior that I don't think this brand will recover from. Original review: Ordered on March 9 and the order was confirmed. Inquired about the order around March 25 and was told "as we told you in our FAQ, orders may take up to 14 days to ship" (but it was already past that). Fast forward to April 1 and there is no further word and no ship confirmation email for the order confirmed on March 9 despite several emails requesting an order status. Terrible way to treat your customers (repeat customers in my case). Will the order ship? They seem to be having real problems.

You guys, don't be like me! Trust the reviews. Bought a bathing suit and it literally never arrived. Waiting three weeks. When customer service was responding to say they couldn't cancel my order, they were very prompt in responding. When I asked for a refund since the order never even shipped (even after the FOURTEEN BUSINESS DAYS that they promised) they ghosted me. Never sent after three weeks??!? Are you kidding? If you can't send product FOR WHATEVER REASON, then you shouldn't be taking out money. I had to issue a chargeback. They are all over instagram that I was literally shocked that they are so fraudulent. How can they take our money if they're not capable of actually sending the product. Crazy.
Returns are pretty much impossible but…
Throughout the online ordering process there was no indication of a final sale - rather you’re supposed to read the fine print. Luckily my credit card company CITI came to my rescue but not after much angst and discussion of the facts. Would not order from Summersalt EVER

I am confident that Citi will be assuring a credit on my cc card for the transaction with Summersalt- NOT A GIFT CARD FROM SUMMERSALT WHICH IS WHAT SUMMERSALT IS OFFERING ME AFTER THE RETURN OF SAID ITEM. They do not give refunds and the suits do not fit per the size guide!
SCAM. Stay away. Ordered $250 worth of suits that did not fit, pads were showing through the top, just bad quality. I followed the sizing guide and the fit was just off. I was expecting a full refund, as I sent back the merch unused with tags on within days of receiving to be offered $235 store credit. I am disputing charges.

It took 4 weeks to ship my item and when it didn’t fit I asked for a refund. They said they could only give store credit even through the item was never worn with tags attached. They apparently only give your money back if it is an exchange “in their eyes.” They didn’t consider mine an exchange because I used the store credit from the original purchase. Very dissatisfied, I don’t even want to use the store credit because I don’t even want to support them by wearing their brand.
Surprisingly Good!
I found this review page AFTER ordering, and got nervous. I was going on vacation and ordered 2 swimsuits a little over a week before I left. I paid extra for expedited shipping. I was obsessively tracking the order after a few days went by with no updates. It ended up arriving after a week, one day before my trip. The shipping timelines are not fantastic.
However, LOVED the swimsuits. Good quality, looked exactly like the photos. Good enough tummy control. I was shocked to see the reviews so low here.
Would order again, but maybe not if I was in a rush.
Cute suits but some quality issues
I purchased a swimsuit which was super cute and flattering but the color faded in white splotches after only a couple of wears (I wore it mostly in the pool, so could be from the chlorine). The initial customer service rep was responsive but not helpful and did not stand by the quality of the product (they pointed me to the FAQs about suit care and offered a 20% discount). It took a few email exchanges to get to someone who was actually willing to replace the suit. The reviews for this suit point to a similar issue so what I experienced was clearly not an isolated incident.
